Stephanie I'm so happy you decided to come over to the Channel full time. You remind me of my mom she could do everything my dad did on the boat and she looked a million bucks doing it. And she was a trained chef. It seems you are college educated and very well spoken like my mom. And your woman's point of view is awesome. And very important. Ladies aren't arm candy you're 50% of the machine to have a fun life. Some might say you're 70% of the machine. Awesome Channel guys keep it up.

Love watching these video's from Rainy old England you both have such a wonderful and lucky way of life. Florida looks so beautiful.
Years ago a dear friend from Miami brought up a bunch of lobster. They looked just like these but he called them 'Bahamian' lobster. He also had a couple pounds of what he called hog fish-said it wouldn't bite a hook and could only be caught by spear fishing. He allowed me to marinate it all with my secret sauce for a day then we slow cooked them over mesquite charcoal. Talk about sweet nectar of the gods-that was, hands down THE best seafood meal I've ever eaten!
actually called a spiny lobster.....I've never caught Hog Fish by line..but i HEAR it can be done....one stupid fish...attempt a spear, nick him and they STILL wouldn't be skiddish of you....the weirdest thing.

Great video, brings back great memories, I lobstered the waters around Islamorada in the late 70's and early 80's as a teenager, favorite and can't miss spot was around Alligator lighthouse, we always caught them by hand and always filled up a 5 gallon bucket.

And my wife as well and she’s spent the summers fishing and diving the Bahamas most her childhood life. Still love them both but, to be honest we both love the Bahamas more. I remember back in the day my grandpa would build a skiff and we would pile the banks off KW and bully net tons of bugs and stone crabs. We would squeeze a little lime juice on them and eat them raw. My uncle was a Captain with the Marine Patrol so we would have to hide our limits to keep the family civil!! The good ole Conch days.And us Conchs always called them crawfish😜 Great videos and content guys!! Thank you

A little over a month and we're back down in The Keys from Minnesota.
We're having a bit warmer than normal temps here - up toward 50 degrees. WOOHOO! 60 is tanning weather BTW.
But so looking forward to the trip.
We'll be at the tail end of lobster season. (no pun intended) Hopefully, there are some left! 😅

I don' know if the water cop was that polite due to knowing the girls family or because that is the type person he is but congrates to a man doing his job and being very respectful to people out having a good time and not purposely causing trouble. We need more like him.
