I think it could all be metaphorical... Vengeful spirit is chained to the freddys franchise and cannot escape the living world, hence the chains wrapped around golden freddy type stuff. The submerging in water could be symbolic of the spirit giving up/accepting these metaphorical chains, and choosing to go even farther from resting in order to confront someone who is still alive/get revenge, or perhaps prevent someone else from ending up like them.
What if its the idea of golden freddy being ensarred in agony and rage, maybe the red sea is red because of the countless victims effected by williams action, and going back in represents reliving that trama bringing your friends with you to torcher william even though they want to be released and free from that pain. I always saw the blob as an interesting tie in for UCN cause it makes since as far as why are their characters in UCN missing or seemly irrlevent and whos mind are they being pulled from williams or cassidys, but i think i was thinking about it wrong, what if those animatronic parts making up the blob play into the roster form in UCN all the cursed children and their agony that little remnant left after happiest day, because something had to be left behind in order for their souls to move on i think after the souls left do to happiest day and henry the only one left was cassidy and with all that anger and rage left inside them they use that agony and the agony of their friends to "put themselves back together" as the blob and torchure william. Even in the book about the man in room 108 "or whichever room" its only 1 soul vs another instead of the conglomerate vs the one, which i personally think is a fight william could never win.
18:25 The novels have William claim that when you get Springlocked, your lungs get punctured and you drown in your own blood. That may be relevant - Cassidy was Springlocked in Fredbear, and drowned inside of it.

I really like Sire Squawks's interpretation of Cassidy being springlocked in the Fredbear suit by William. And I believe in the Silver Eyes it says that springlock victims drown in their own blood. Maybe that is where Cassidy drowned?
That could be where the chain symbolism comes in, too. Her body would have essentially been bound to the suit, she's chained to Golden Freddy and being the Vengeful Spirit. She doesn't give up because she's incapable of doing so. She isn't haunting the suit, she's more like Springtrap, but she only died the one time.
I really think Cassidy drowned in their own blood after being stuffed. It isn't shown that the Cassidy was stuffed by the puppet in the mini-game, besides appearing briefly. So, I think William stuffed them in the Fredbear suit, causing the suit to go off and pierce Cassidy's body, probably their lungs or something connected to it for the drowning stuff. Cassidy would then be really mad at William for that, and that also explains how they drowned. I think the OMC lakes and other (possibly also OMC) red lakes are connected to the drowning motif and is telling us it was in them drowning in their own blood.
I also think this could explain Puppetstuffed if you believe that. Charlie stuffed the other kids because she saw that Cassidy got stuffed and began moving.
In UCN, there's even a clip of golden freddy twitching, similar to the way springtrap twitched in the fnaf 3 trailer. Obviously the twitching is just representing her being restless, but it is interesting how she's moving in the same way as someone else who died in a springlock suit.
I actually think this makes a lot of sense- I bet you William was trying to Kidnap the kid, maybe she was the first, stuffed her in the springlock suit then went back to work to ease any suspicions- But Cassidy was crying and her tears triggered the springlocks, piercing the lungs but not outright killing her due to her childlike size, from where she just gradually drowned over the course of hours resenting the man who shoved her in the suit... And William only discovered her death at the end of the work day, long after she had passed in agonizing gasping solitude.
Boy, that description of the Fall Fest fire safety hazards eerily reminds me of the real tragedy that happened at the Haunted Castle attraction in New Jersey. (TW Death) . Haunted Castle was a late 70s attraction at Six Flags Great Adventure that was originally meant to be temporary (like Fall Fest), but due to popularity was never taken down. However, it was also never really brought up to code for a permanent attraction, escaping code inspectors' attention because of these origins. It consisted of multiple trailers decorated with highly flammable materials like foam rubber, fabrics, and plywood. And because this was the days before cell phone flashlights, teens going through the dark attraction would use lighters while walking through the halls. While it had SOME fire safety features, they did not install sprinklers, and all other precautions were either vandalized and not replaced or were rendered unusable in other ways that went unnoticed. So on May 11, 1984 (one year after 1983), one of the foam pads caught fire from one of these lighters and quickly spread. 14 escaped, but 8 teens were trapped inside and burned to death, while 7 others sustained injuries. Just sort of reminds you that the horrors of Freddy's might be laughably unsafe , but there are real tragedies out there caused by negligence, making Freddy's just a little more believable.
@@gaminganimators7000 I'm guessing they wanted to strengthen the believability of a similar accident happening with Fazbear Entertainment by drawing attention to the time frame. Like "these things happened in the 80s, around the time we assume the Fall Fest fire happened". It's a testament to how safety standards were looser/less cared for in the past, especially by corporations. Parallels to real life events don't prove anything, yes, but they can be inspirations for writing, so I get why the original poster mentioned it.
In the silver eyes when William is explaining what happens during a springlock failure, he specifically mentions your lungs filling with your own blood until you *drown* in it. Maybe that’s why the lake is red in fnaf world and ruin, and that’s how Cassidy “drowned”. It might have been a springlock failure. She was put into the suit, and died from the springlocks.
I mean, coo theoey, but... Don't we already know how Cassidy died? High School Chica tells us this in UCN, which everyone agreed was brutally violent compared to the others she mentioned killing before. She is supposed to be a parallel to Afton, so we have a bit of background on why Cassidy is so vengeful, and is the one he should not have killed. Though really they all shouldn't have been killed...

We will all see once the next two games come out, but rn, I have a feeling that they're telling us Cassidy died in Fredbear before William's children died. Something must've happened for him to make the Funtimes for Baby to kill Elisabeth and FredBear to kill CC which is why a lot of ppl put SL before FNAF 1 and 2 even happen. Actually, I don't think the suit itself killed CC because of some tears. I think that Cassidy killed CC instead because she couldn't move which is why Golden Freddy is also slumped over in FNAF 1, 2 and 3 and she needed some help to move it. Maybe even over time her agony and maybe even CC's agony helped with moving the suit which is why we see it "move" the way it does.
One thing that has stood out to me recently is how similar the names Cassie and Cassidy are. I know theres the whole meme about MatPat and "Gregory is a robot rebuilt version of the Crying Child" but that draws a connection between the two spirits in Golden Freddy's suit and the two children inside the Pizzaplex

It’s pretty neat. The new generation dealing with what old ones did. Cassidy passed down the whole stop Springtrap thing, to Cassie’s father, and Gregory destroy a ton of animatronics, even though CC was terrified of them.
there is something i want to add to this. the animatronics and Vanny all seems to see Gregory, yet no one mentions why his stuff was left in the basement when cassie got there, and 2) no one mentions what Freddy meant when he told Gregory that he isn't in the registry(your guest profile is unknown to me) could that have hinted that he was dead at that point, since well he is a complete resemblance to the crying child. would that make the crying child Gregory Afton? even in the papers he was one of the 6 children missing, if gregory did escape and survived, why would the papers still consider him missing, wouldn't he be considered found at that point? notice how quite literally nothing after security breach mentions Gregory, except cassie who was tricked by the mimic, mimicking his voice?

Another thing to point out is that the photo booth in FNAF AR, where you can take pictures of your FNAF AR skins, there are filters that you can add. The very last one has a red curtain with a wooden sign that reads, “Come one come all, the Fazbear circus”. I even have proof of it in the community section of my channel to prove it.

While a lot of people have pointed out that Cassidy's drowning could've been via drowning through internal bleeding (a dry drowning, I think it's called, bc there isn't any water involved technically), I wanna elaborate on it. Because I think there's a lot to suggest that Cassidy wasn't killed prior to being stuffed, but rather killed via being stuffed. There's that one Fazbear Frights story about kids being lured to a fazbear suit and pulled inside of it. There's the fact Cassidy is so vengeful, implying a lot of agony was experienced by them. Especially if you consider that Cassidy was killed last: first they're lured into a room full of dead kids in suits and then they're stuffed (or alternatively, like Afton later, attempted to escape his reach by hiding in the Golden suit only for the spring locks to be activated). There's the fact that Golden Freddy is limp and listless in FNAF 1, in a pose reminiscent of the sprinlocked William without the twitching. Cassidy may not have died right away, given the fact there's the candy cadet story about a key to saving one life. Near fatal injuries are survivable, even if the chances are extremely slim in most cases. There's also the notion that the drowning iconography could be purely symbolic. It's possible that for Cassidy, their afterlife feels like they're constantly drowning. They're, after all, stuck. Tethered. Held beneath the surface that is release. In fact, I think that might be very likely. 'Leave the demon to his demons, rest your own soul.' To escape Old Man Consequences, you have to drown. I think drowning might be symbolic of Cassidy chosing to chase their murderer again and again, refusing to let go or rest. And I don't think these ideas need be mutually exclusive to one another. I think they can run concurrently.
I think this theory may be likely. Cassidy's corpse (assuming it's their's) not appearing until the end of the FNAF 2 "Give Gifts, Give Life" minigame, always felt like to me implied that maybe they weren't killed in the saferoom. And it isn't exactly uncharacteristic of William to go after a child outside the pizzaria, as now seen in the movie. So perhaps Cassidy was kidnapped and drowned in a lake by William. But the major counter evidence for that idea is the news clippings in FNAF 1 that talk about FIVE kids getting lured in and killed. Unless you want the fifth kid in that situation to be Andrew (which is an idea I don't really like myself tbh). It would also beg the question of how they ended up as Golden Freddy, if they weren't killed in a Freddy's.
adding onto the counter, Cassidy still needs to possess Golden Freddy in some way, that just doesn't really work out if she was drowned in a lake with the whole proximity=possession thing, and the argument for Garrett can be that he was the first victim and seperate from MCI.

Another suggestion I've seen in the comments here is that maybe they drowned in their own blood in the suit they were stuffed into. It makes a lot more sense with what we know, but I can't help but think all the water-related imagery is suggesting something more.
(dumb speculation i don’t normally theory craft) i think it may still possible for william to kidnap then kill kids outside the pizzeria. Now i know the movie has its own separate timeline butttt the fact that william went out of his way to kidnap garret then kill him (which we don’t know where he was killed tho and the mystery with GF being a blonde boy but his face is taped over the first child) could have some similarities or rules that may apply to the games
Headcanon, I'm not sure how yet, but the Sonic Adventure 2 Gameplay + soundtrack in the background is somehow a RyeToast ARG where we find out he's the voice of Shadow The Hedgehog in the new movie.
As a lot of other people in the comments have pointed out, Cassidy probably drowned in her own blood from the spring lock failure. On pg. 269 of The Silver Eyes, William explains to Carlton, "Your vocal cords will be severed, and your lungs will fill up with your own blood until you drown in it."
Hi Forsaken AR dev here and I just wanted to leave some comments on the video! while there is no official way to play FNaF AR now, ForsakenBonnie (the creator of Forsaken AR) has archived Versions 1.0.0 and 8.0. These versions act basically as the original game with no extra content (unlike Forsaken AR which does add new content). Some things are changed such as the shop and removed microtransaction, but that's so you can collect everything those versions have to offer.
My thoughts: The Puppet, Cassie and Baby are much more alive because their deaths and suit "injection" are a lot closer in happening. In the give life events the children already look like ghost/skeletons. However, the Puppet was right after she died and Baby was right as she died. So that leaves the vengeful spirit Cassie to most likely have actually died in the suit.
This makes a lot of sense in terms of the give gifts/give life mini game, and the relative levels of awareness/sentience the various animatronics show. If we go with Cassidy = Golden Freddy = Vengeful Spirit, then dying inside Golden Freddy makes sense, with the drowning being a case of drowning in her own blood or perhaps a case of ‘dry drowning’. Based on the original newspaper clippings, Cassidy would have been one of two children simultaneously lured by William as the final two. It’s likely she is literally “the one you should not have killed” because she was never part of the plan. If William is somehow motivated by the bite of ‘83, it makes (twisted) sense that he would basically create effigies of the 4 masked bullies. Cassidy was a random plus one and William had to act fast. So likely he did something to incapacitate Cassidy so he could deal with the fourth child in a manner similar to the others. He may have gagged her to keep her quiet until he had time, or even stuffed her in the Golden Freddy costume while she was still alive, both things that could have lead to some form of asphyxiation. With the way the series likes to echo itself, we don’t see how William handled Golden Freddy when he was dismantling the others. It would be fitting if the process of taking out Golden Freddy was similarly drowning themed. Alternatively, he never actually bothered with Golden Freddy, but Cassidy driving William into the Spring Bonnie suit is the parallel instead. William dies like she did, comes back like she did, and like the first time, it is her that ruins his plan. He probably wouldn’t have been ‘caught’ on tape if not for Cassidy. His luring one child at a time seemed to be going unnoticed. [he would put a similar rule in place for Circus Baby, never deal with two kids at once]. It’s also an interesting contrast of drowning vs burning. Perhaps Cassidy’s ability to keep William alive “no matter how many times they burn us” is tied to her drowning.
I don't know about you Rye but a whole circus full of still moving on fire animatronics and fursuits running around on flames sounds like a pretty traumatic experience to me

I have a theory: the reason the lake is red as opposed to, well, normal lake colours is because it could symbolize that William Drowned cassidy in their own Blood by springlocking them into golden Freddy while they were still alive. My two main reasons why I say this is because in chapter 9 of the silver eyes novel, Dave aka William Afton literally sais: "You'll try to scream but you'll be unable to: your vocal cords will be severed and your lungs will fill with your own blood until you drown in it" when describing what springlocking feels like. This also works out very nicely because without the ability to vocalize, nobody would be able to hear Cassidy's torment throughout the rest of the building. It also makes me think that similar to william in the fnaf 3 minigame, a Springlocked Cassidy would reatain conciousness for some time, perhaps even long enough to witness William remove the golden bonnie disguised he lured the missing children into the back room with, and thus becaome directly vengful to him, solidifying Cassidy's / Golden Freddy's role as the leader of the souls dring the games. but hey, That's just my Theory My Gayme theory
One thing that can be some supporting evidence that the sister location characters may have been around in Fall Fest is the sister location 8bit mini game. The reason I bring up the mini game is the fact that in the mini game baby is giving cupcake to kids outside. Unlike every other mini game, the sister location one is the only one that shows it’s outside (I know that FNAF 4 shows the crying child outside, but that’s beside the point). The mini game is supposed to show how Elizabeth died before the opening of circus baby’s pizza world, but why would baby be outside, unless it was done in some sort of outside event. I know this theory isn’t perfect because it may contradict the gas leak that happened at circus baby’s, but this is just some food for thought when thinking how far back the stuff from sister location could have been in the timeline.
I can only really think of one thing for the whole drowning Cassidy thing. Obviously there's the whole 'drowning in her own blood springlock failure' theory which I also think is true, but other than that there is one other thing. We know that Old Man Consequences was trying to convince Cassidy to end things (Leave the demon to his demons and all that). So, if Afton did escape and/or Cassidy chose to let him pass on, I could see Old Man Consequences trying to force her to move on when she wished to return to the world. Maybe he attempted to drown her in the infamous lake, wrapping her in chains, but she broke out and managed to flee into the digital world, becoming the Princess. I know it's unlikely, but it's the only explanation I can think of (and honestly, it's one I really like).
18:27 it could simply be that she was the most brutal of all the killings, which would obviously leave a "pool of red" but another theory i've heard being used recently is the idea that she was springlocked. In the books afton describes a failure as being extremely painful and that your lungs would fill with blood as you drown in your own blood

I hope this isn’t a reference to her death… Somebody said that in the books Susie and Cassidy’s deaths were really brutal, which I really really hope that is a lie. But knowing our villain, probably not…* Another note: If Cassidy really is the Princess, it actually could make a lot of sense. After all, the Princess was named Cassidy in the files. Security Breach and the newer games have TONS of Ultimate Custom Night references, (which the mimic would not know about just saying) like OMC being labeled in Help Wanted2’s Princess Quest ending. There could be evidence that maybe Cassidy or the Agony of her is still left at the PizzaPlex. I also made a recent descovery that changed my perspective on this franchise- The novel trilogy (Silver Eyes, Twisted Ones, Fourth Closet all have incredible ammount of references in Security Breach, kinda off topic but worth noting)
In Fury’s rage there is a map that is a run down alley way behind it is a massive circus tent. Also in this alley we can see Scraptrap outside of the FNaF 6 location this suggests that this circus / carnival takes place after Sister Loaction and before FNaF 6.
Adding onto @LionPKrono theory, it could’ve also drawn her to springlock William, wanting to see him getting a taste of his own medicine…. blood! Which would be what he would probably taste, hence “ drowning in their own blood. “ Just a thought :)
In the Fazbear Frights story Hide and Seek, one of the methods used to try to remove the shadow (Shadow Bonnie) was to weigh himself down at the bottom of a swimming pool.
Really enjoyed the video! Lots of stuff to chew on. Cassidy being the one William shouldn't have killed combined with this information makes me wonder about the circumstances. It could be a much more tragic start to the killings, a fire starts and a william not yet corrupted by agony tries to save a child by putting them into the golden Freddy suit and putting it into the dunk tank. It should have enough oxygen to outlast the flames, and will give her the strength to pull herself to safety afterwards. Unfortunate William never learns what springlocks do when wet until decades later. Later, at the hospital william regains consciousness - and learns that instead of sacrificing his life to save cassidy, he miraculously survived while she seemingly disappeared. Now corrupted by agony, the force which saved his life, William investigates what he would come to call 'remnant'. It can posess robots, keep people alive, and with the agony's influence he isn't as moral a man as he used to be. If my wild conjecture follows, it would make mike and william foils. It also ties up the immortal and restless, William obviously doesn't care for Mike, seeing as he sends mike to his death in the bunker; but Mike and William both manage to come back from death with remnant - although different governing emotions. Agony may be the most powerful, but Mike's guilt is negative enough to shine through.
YEAH! HOLY SHT! That would make so much sense!!! In the Fall Fest she ends up drowning in the tank and in her own blood due to the springlocks which is why there's a red lake. She drowned in two ways basically. I always thought that William could've been good, but some kid's death made him become the way he is now because of what happened. Her death made him like this either due to the agony from her and attached to him or because he saw that her death made Golden Freddy look more alive and started on his experiments with the Funtimes and so on!
Dunk tanks exist in carnivals. Also those duck pond games where you throw rings and try to get them around their necks. Lots of low cost water based games in carnivals, cutting corners and using a tub wouldn't be crazy. Just trying to tie in why they're the "one you shouldn't have killed" unless it's just a threatening thing to say? Like "you shouldn't have killed ME, I'm here to GET you now" type deal. Also why they use golden freddy to possess. Maybe that suit was used to lure them and then drown them?

Shot in the dark but it’s a chained up golden Freddy being pulled out of a lake, what if he just tossed her into one? Like the one under the pizzaplex which would explain why golden Freddy can teleport, cause it’s not there.
If you think about it, Vanny IS deeply related to some kind of fall festival, due to the end of Curse of Dreadbear depicting the Vanny mask under the maze in the bunker. So, a game about said fall fest may depict the original creation/possession of Vanessa, while also giving us history on the circus animatronics. Combine this information with the fact that we've almost never really *seen* the golden freddy suit, only spectral projections of it, and the red lake below the pizza plex connecting back to Cassidy, a game about the fall fest may depict the drowning of Cassidy occured at a fall fest years back. Even further evidenced by the old character suits assumed to be from fall fest which are ALSO near the red lake. Maybe it's possible that the golden freddy suit was down here at some point.
I think its interesting that the ones at the circus are the ones often associated with the Aftons themselves: Ballora - The Mother - contorting to keep the family together? Foxy - Mike - the big personality/ one who shows off? Golden Freddy - Youngest son /Bight victim - the one who's trapped and GF being locked up could be related to FnaF 4 where the child in the bedroom seems to be in a coma - the medical equipment that appears - and GF being fallen over is alluding to the youngest dying? We know William's associated with Springbonnie but then maybe this means the Afton's youngest child was Elizabeth - maybe she was literally a circus baby - a baby born at the time they ran the circus?
I think cassidy was killed by being put into the golden freddy springlock suit, then thrown into some body water, activating the water sensitive springlocks, and causing her to suffer an excruciating death. Both drowned and pierced by springlocks simultaneously. It would tie both the death by water evidence and parallel her and the spirits kill william with by activating the springlocks with water.
Is there anyway that this maybe just is to support that everything that happened and the “games” by the indie devs were so spooky and supernatural to 1. cover up the real tragedies and 2. out of ignorance. What if at the older Fall Fest, a lot of people or maybe kids died in the fire, explaining the reoccurrence of fires in the pre-modern installments. Maybe it was the mask quartet w Jeremy and Mike. Maybe the MCI was done during fallfest, and maybe Cassidy happened to be drowned. Again, its not like the original in-games timeline and lore didnt happen and didnt all line up, but this is almost the “true real world events” outside of those games’ inaccurate lore/story (despite SB, Ruin, Help Wanted etc. being our in-universe games). Idk, food for thought.

I like the connection to the story "Drowning". When I read it it seemed a little too disconnected, like who is the girl in the water and why would she pull others in with her. Her being (the) vengeful (spirit) would kinda explain that.

Pointing out the theming of ballora, rkng master foxy and escape golden freddy os interesting. They are in some way, the other 3 members kf the afton family, those we know very little about. Afton, we know a lot. Elizabeth, not a ton, but certainly a lot more than; dead weeping child, MIA wife, and dead purple teenager
Having Cassidy die differently from the other kids would make sense as to why she often stands as the odd one out, also it being a more “violent” death (whether it’s drowning or a spring lock thing) would add as to why she seems to be more vengeful and powerful than the others Though I will say idk how this would give credence to the “one you shouldn’t have killed” statements since it seems more like “you messed around and now you’re finding out” than as to a clue of what makes her so different
In another pizzaplex book, a mother is implied to have 'self-given up' in a bath tub (the one where the son thinks he's an animatronic). With Ballora being present in the game and often thought to represent Mrs Afton, perhaps there's some sort of extremely loose thread there?
It is also worth mentioning that the walls in the dark circus appear to be striped following the color pallete of balloon boy, further proving that he is from that era.
In RUIN, when going into the Servers section, you can se a giant Freddy laying on the ground right below all the corridors you walk through. Maybe another reference to Golden Freddy drowning?
I can confirm that at 15:14 that it is indeed a bathtub. I’ve taken countless looks at that because some puzzle codes would spawn there and it does have a drain in it
I think this explains why Cassidy is the most aggressive of them all. He went further than he'd ever gone before. I dont think he immediately killed Cassidy once in the suit. It's been shown in the novels that you can survive quite some time if holding still before you mess up and get springlocked. I think he stuffed her, kept her there until nightfall, and then took her to a lake right next to the pizzeria where nobody could see, chained her for good measure so that she couldn't remove the suit from herself, and threw her in. He watched her drown. It would explain why she has no physical animatronic form. It's not in the restaurant. It was in the lake, where nobody would think to check. Who would be stupid enough to hide a child's body in a lake a few steps from a pizzeria in the middle of nowhere anyways, its the most populated place and wouldn't make sense to hide there. So that's what he did. At least in my opinion. She's more aggressive because her death wasn't just strange and horrific, it was slow, dreadful, and over the top.
And the reason I think the lake would be close enough to achieve that without being caught by anyone is that, in Ruin the destroyed underground pizzeria which is somewhat assumed to have been a fredbear's or early Freddy's far before your time owning it and in that same game, that lake is not difficult to get to from there at all. Especially when you consider the early freddys and fredbears locations were local and small, secluded in small parking lots in the woods easily missed without a sign out front. I personally think it makes a lot of sense but I'm not the end all be all.
A dunk tank @ Fall Fest. If Fazbear's is involved maybe there was an animatronic dunk tank. Dunk the mascot. What if a person was locked inside a Springlock Suit was put in the dunk tank? If you couldn't escape the suit, you'd be dunked. What happens to springlocks when they get wet?
I'm going to go in a little of a rant if you don't mind, and take a little more metaphorical aproach. 1: Golden Freddy and Pixel freddy obviusly represent Cassidy. No real argument about that. 2: Cassidy seems to be trapped. As we see Golden Freddy chained + Pixel Freddy becomes trapped the moment he steps into the water. 3: I was wondering for a while what the lake could represent, but I ultimately landed on... The History of Fazbear Entertainment... Look, I know it's a strech, but think for a moment. Cassidy could be searching for something, whenever she's looking for Afton, or just some answers (Maybe why he did what he did, or something like that.), she goes deeper and deeper with no real results, until she finds the lake. The OMC tries to warn her, to leave it be and rest her soul, but she doesn't do that. And as we see, she falls down the lake... Forever. We litteraly see her fall up until our game crashes. And when we look at her current states (the Grand Escape GF, the Drowned girl, and maybe the Princess?) It kindof makes sence. She stumbled upon the source of all the information she needs. So I have two explonations for her current aggresion: a) She found the answer she was looking for, and it made her either go crazy, or make her extremely pissed off (or both.) b) She cannot find the information she's seaching for and it's making her go crazy (As she feels that the answer has to be there somewhere.) Anyway, rant over, sorry for wasting your time with my crazy theories... 😅
This is probably bonkers. A child that may have drowned in the games could be the child that William murdered outside in the rain, maybe broke her neck and left her to drown in a puddle. But that doesn't make sense, I thought, that's Charlie, not Cassidy. Are we 100% certain that Charlie exists in the game timeline? Could it be the case that Cassidy and Charlie have always been counterparts across the timelines? And I'm actually asking here, I'm not sure what our evidence is that Charlie exists. If Charlie doesn't exist, that would confuse the distinction between Golden Freddy and the Puppet. And maybe cast a new light on Lefty in the alley, posed just like Golden Freddy, with the Puppet inside. Does that mean that the Puppet has been inside a Freddy suit before? Again this is completely out there, wild theory.
Fnaf 6, Henry/tape guy makes it clear that it is his kid who died out in the rain, and then possessed the puppet. The puppet and the vengeful spirit/cassidy are two different characters
Do you think that lefty could be a refurbished carnie? This is a very long shot, im talkin 100 yard football kick, but it's just some fun thoughts that could conjure up something in the community. If you look at burnt carnie's model, you can just barely see that his right eye is more withered. You may have to squint. But say that at that time his right eye got replaced because it was the most damaged of the two, after decades of collecting dust and rotting away, the untouched eye could have decayed to the point of becoming black. As Henry repared carnie to become lefty, the original eye may have stayed or been replaced with a new black eye for a unique touch. A more realistic approach could be the lefty's design is INSPIRED by his burnt orginal. The eye rotted eye i just mentioned could have inspired the black eye detail. One specific character of that I think could drive home this theory is the color. Burnt carnie is a muted brown with white char accents. But if you were to scrape all of burnt plastic off, you be left with a black tarnished metal. Notice that lefty is not solid black, but a metalic, gun metal black. I think it is possibe that lefty is either a repaired version of carnie, with it's new design based on the chared scraps of the original, or lefty was a completely different animatronic who's build was inspired by the remains of his counterpart. By the location of Fazer Blast and hint we see, I think that carnie was most likely a part of Fall Fest(most likely the 1970 event) if so, do you think it's possible that carnie was one of Henry's first animatronics. That was a whole decade before our first look at fredbears. Whether or not Fredbear's opened before 1983. I highly doubt that it was an establishment before 1970. I noticed that there is no sign of Freddy’s or Fredbear's on the poster. Which leads me to believe that this fall fest may have predated everything. The running theory is that the mediocre melodies were his first animatronics, made to rip off Freddy’s fame. But being that we see an animatronic a decade before that, that closely resembles one of his final animatronics. It really seems that carnie could be his first. Here's some food for thought. Henry has been deemed a copycat in the early timeline for the mediocre melodies. But if he made his first BEAR animatronic at a children's theme event in 1970, is he really the copycat? If William stole the idea and made Fredbear's, and Fredbear's became as big as it did. No one would bat an eye at a small carnival with a simple bear animatronic. I don't know if I like this idea, but I'm just throwing everything I got to see what sticks. Is it possible that William set the carnival on fire to one, preventing it from becoming more successful. And two, to take that idea and reuse it for himself. I don't think he was pure evil at this point, or really evil at all. But it's still just a thought. I don't really think that lefty is a remade carnie. I think it's possible that the design could have been inspired by the withered design. But I doubt that they put that much thought into a connection like that. I am pretty confident, though, that carnie was most likely the first and that Henry was never really the copycat. But more so, tried to reclaim the ideas stolen from him later on after William's fame.
Makes sense to me. They've been pushing the circus concept for quite sometime. It feels better for the security breach games to be tied back up to what we know from before too
What if Cassidy is at a recreation of the fnaf world not in the AR world ? Just like she can teleport with the glitched objects just like in the fnaf world what if the mega Pizza plex is the fnaf world or in that area is were it was and it’s just using it’s surprisings to recreate the fnaf world. What if Charlie is the one recreating the fnaf world to help guide the other children’s souls maybe the one in the poster in the bad ending of security breach?
god i love great theories that make me think! great video :) having Golden Freddy wrapped in chains in more than one place/game feels very significant. I'm more drawn to that than any drowning theme, it feels like it makes more sense. Golden Freddy being the one that keeps UTC going, forever; chained to Afton, to any FNAF thing. trapped. caged. unable to break free. but that was also their choice. maybe in this timeline, Golden Freddy is a force to be held back at all costs? maybe because Golden Freddy has always had the most hatred? power? Glam Rock Freddy breaks free of his chains, in a way. maybe the chains on Golden Freddy are there to hold them back and restrain them, played off as a trick? it's interesting to think about.
I work in a store and in the backroom we have an industrial sink that we can use to fill mop buckets in case of spills it's in the corner of the room and on the floor there are small cement walls about 6-7 inches tall making a water tight open box on the floor with a faucet on the wall to fill it Freddie's would need to be cleaned (obviously) so they would need mops (i even think one of the members of trash and the gang is a mop) so in the back room their would be an industrial sink built into the floor it's also a well known fact that a person can drown and die in a 1/2 inch puddle if they are unlucky. some children have even died this way because they fall down and hit their head and go unconscious and fall face first into a puddle what if when William was cleaning up either from killing the missing children and/or putting their bodies into the suits or trying to remove their bodies from the suits after the police investigations are over so he can get rid of them without being caught Cassidy being a curious child went into the employees only backroom (kids often break the rules like this because their just kids and don't know better) and she found Afton cleaning up the blood on the floor by mopping and because he wasn't expecting to be caught he was unprepared and he knew she saw something incriminating in his panic drowned her in the sink built into the floor which would also tie into why Cassidy is refereed to as 'the one you should not have killed' in UCN. he never meant to kill her she wasn't one of his targets she should have been safe from him
One thing I also wanna point out to add to the idea of Fall Fest is FNAF World, here me out on this. The credits theme in HW2 is a remix of the Update 2 hub theme, y'know the weird Halloweeny place. The fact that it is all Halloween themed, since we get characters like those from the FNAF 4 Halloween update and just the environment in general, like we're seeing in all this Fall Fest stuff helps with the idea that Fall Fest is definitely something they're gonna touch on real soon.
The AR Golden Glamrock Freddy plush even is described with "looks like the one in lobby". Speaking of plush, the one in base being in Monty's room, I've wondered about, based off Andrew and Old Man Consequences. Almost suggestions of Cassidy possessing Monty, but I kinda doubt that.
For further evidence, in ultimate custom night if you use a death coin on golden Freddy, you get jumpscared by freadbear and hear some muffled noise that almost makes it sound like he’s under water
This is very circus themed and recently the the mimic has revealed to be a circus character, and in fnaf help wanted 2 there was lots of circus themed areas. It is definitely connected.
Thought I'd just point it out, the name of Sister Location is Circus Baby Entertainment and Rentals. They rent the Funtimes out to parties and events and by the looks of it, FallFest is included in that.
Ballora is your classic stereotypical Gypsy mixed with a ballerina. You often find Gypsy-themed attractions at carnivals and cheap festivals. Why she’s a ballerina? Fazbear decided it was best to rebrand the original Ballora design to be more like a ballerina in order to not be accused of any bigotry Circus Baby is a clown. She sings, dances, whatever you need her to do as a clown should do. Even her name, “Baby”, isn’t a name you’d typically expect on anyone except some sort of clown. Funtime Freddy is meant to be a puppeteer performer with BonBon. A ventriloquist, in other words. Another thing you’d find at a carnival or festival. He has the goofy voice and the ability to alter his voice itself to do different impressions… and lure kids. Funtime Foxy is hard at first. What would be their purpose? Well we get our answer in UCN. Funtime Foxy is a sort of announcer and show runner. Just listen to their voice, they sound like an old radio host. They’d walk up on stage, say “up next is the Jaw-Dropping Act of Ballora Ballerina! Return at 5 o’clock to witness the act!”
I love that theory! I think it would be an important plot point because it's Golden Freddy. Golden Freddy is important to the lore, but at the same time, we still don't know much about him.(Also, a Golden Freddy backstory game would be nice).

The chains, drowning, an escape water tank and escape room. That's Saw trap stuff. And there was the weird Saw trap mask in the movie. I haven't read them, but I've heard that the Pizzaplex books can be shockingly violent. I'd say that FNaF is moving in a more graphic and violent direction, but I can't imagine why they'd do that. They make a lot of money walking the horror for kids line.
Sometimes I like to imagine how was the experiences of the steelwool employes who are making the games with Scott having to explain the lire of FNAF. I mean imagine you are just an executive that problably has just some relative surface level knowledge of FNAF and then you are one of the few people who are completely expised to the whole lore by the creator himself. Having to make note of dates, animatronic models, amount of pizzarias, fazgoo, remnant, the murder and fate of many children, their names and where they were hidden. I just imagine that meme of the guy trying to explain a conspiracy theory as Scott while the executives are listening as if they understand what was happening.
The Dark Circus has always been my favourite set of skins. The skins generally were the part of FNAF AR that I'm going to miss the most. I remember Magician mangle being revealed and then everyone comparing them to Sans because of the telekinesis and that glowing blue eye.
I think that bathtub in Fall Fest is either an apple bobbing tank or grab the duck game [like the one in FNaF6] those are usually played in barrels or animal food/water troughs.
It would be pretty cool to see an earlier Fall Fest, mostly because I think it would be great to get Steel Wool’s interpretations of the Afton kids. Fall Fest 1983 did have the Afton House in the background, so it’s likely they attended before they all died. And I mean hey, we did get a lot of hints about Cassie’s dad possibly being the Bonnie mask kid. Getting to see Michael and His Boys(tm) in 3D would be pretty cool!
Only place I can think in the restaurant where Cassidy could have been drowned is the toilet, and if I was swirlied to death, I think I would be a pretty vengeful spirit too
The fall fest event and the thought of the funtime animatronics being a part of it could make sense. Cause didn't they say that Circus baby's pizza world closed down due to a gas leak? And the fact that fallfest kept depicting a fire had happened..? I mean they said in the sister location gas leak message that the building went for sale and no mentions of a fire. But it's still a strong coincidence at that.

I think it could all be metaphorical... Vengeful spirit is chained to the freddys franchise and cannot escape the living world, hence the chains wrapped around golden freddy type stuff. The submerging in water could be symbolic of the spirit giving up/accepting these metaphorical chains, and choosing to go even farther from resting in order to confront someone who is still alive/get revenge, or perhaps prevent someone else from ending up like them.
What if its the idea of golden freddy being ensarred in agony and rage, maybe the red sea is red because of the countless victims effected by williams action, and going back in represents reliving that trama bringing your friends with you to torcher william even though they want to be released and free from that pain. I always saw the blob as an interesting tie in for UCN cause it makes since as far as why are their characters in UCN missing or seemly irrlevent and whos mind are they being pulled from williams or cassidys, but i think i was thinking about it wrong, what if those animatronic parts making up the blob play into the roster form in UCN all the cursed children and their agony that little remnant left after happiest day, because something had to be left behind in order for their souls to move on i think after the souls left do to happiest day and henry the only one left was cassidy and with all that anger and rage left inside them they use that agony and the agony of their friends to "put themselves back together" as the blob and torchure william. Even in the book about the man in room 108 "or whichever room" its only 1 soul vs another instead of the conglomerate vs the one, which i personally think is a fight william could never win.

18:25 The novels have William claim that when you get Springlocked, your lungs get punctured and you drown in your own blood. That may be relevant - Cassidy was Springlocked in Fredbear, and drowned inside of it.

I really like Sire Squawks's interpretation of Cassidy being springlocked in the Fredbear suit by William. And I believe in the Silver Eyes it says that springlock victims drown in their own blood. Maybe that is where Cassidy drowned?

That could be where the chain symbolism comes in, too. Her body would have essentially been bound to the suit, she's chained to Golden Freddy and being the Vengeful Spirit. She doesn't give up because she's incapable of doing so. She isn't haunting the suit, she's more like Springtrap, but she only died the one time.
I really think Cassidy drowned in their own blood after being stuffed. It isn't shown that the Cassidy was stuffed by the puppet in the mini-game, besides appearing briefly. So, I think William stuffed them in the Fredbear suit, causing the suit to go off and pierce Cassidy's body, probably their lungs or something connected to it for the drowning stuff.
Cassidy would then be really mad at William for that, and that also explains how they drowned. I think the OMC lakes and other (possibly also OMC) red lakes are connected to the drowning motif and is telling us it was in them drowning in their own blood.
I also think this could explain Puppetstuffed if you believe that. Charlie stuffed the other kids because she saw that Cassidy got stuffed and began moving.

In UCN, there's even a clip of golden freddy twitching, similar to the way springtrap twitched in the fnaf 3 trailer. Obviously the twitching is just representing her being restless, but it is interesting how she's moving in the same way as someone else who died in a springlock suit.
I actually think this makes a lot of sense- I bet you William was trying to Kidnap the kid, maybe she was the first, stuffed her in the springlock suit then went back to work to ease any suspicions- But Cassidy was crying and her tears triggered the springlocks, piercing the lungs but not outright killing her due to her childlike size, from where she just gradually drowned over the course of hours resenting the man who shoved her in the suit... And William only discovered her death at the end of the work day, long after she had passed in agonizing gasping solitude.

Boy, that description of the Fall Fest fire safety hazards eerily reminds me of the real tragedy that happened at the Haunted Castle attraction in New Jersey. (TW Death)

Haunted Castle was a late 70s attraction at Six Flags Great Adventure that was originally meant to be temporary (like Fall Fest), but due to popularity was never taken down. However, it was also never really brought up to code for a permanent attraction, escaping code inspectors' attention because of these origins. It consisted of multiple trailers decorated with highly flammable materials like foam rubber, fabrics, and plywood. And because this was the days before cell phone flashlights, teens going through the dark attraction would use lighters while walking through the halls. While it had SOME fire safety features, they did not install sprinklers, and all other precautions were either vandalized and not replaced or were rendered unusable in other ways that went unnoticed. So on May 11, 1984 (one year after 1983), one of the foam pads caught fire from one of these lighters and quickly spread. 14 escaped, but 8 teens were trapped inside and burned to death, while 7 others sustained injuries.
Just sort of reminds you that the horrors of Freddy's might be laughably unsafe , but there are real tragedies out there caused by negligence, making Freddy's just a little more believable.

In the silver eyes when William is explaining what happens during a springlock failure, he specifically mentions your lungs filling with your own blood until you *drown* in it. Maybe that’s why the lake is red in fnaf world and ruin, and that’s how Cassidy “drowned”. It might have been a springlock failure. She was put into the suit, and died from the springlocks.

We will all see once the next two games come out, but rn, I have a feeling that they're telling us Cassidy died in Fredbear before William's children died. Something must've happened for him to make the Funtimes for Baby to kill Elisabeth and FredBear to kill CC which is why a lot of ppl put SL before FNAF 1 and 2 even happen. Actually, I don't think the suit itself killed CC because of some tears. I think that Cassidy killed CC instead because she couldn't move which is why Golden Freddy is also slumped over in FNAF 1, 2 and 3 and she needed some help to move it. Maybe even over time her agony and maybe even CC's agony helped with moving the suit which is why we see it "move" the way it does.
One thing that has stood out to me recently is how similar the names Cassie and Cassidy are. I know theres the whole meme about MatPat and "Gregory is a robot rebuilt version of the Crying Child" but that draws a connection between the two spirits in Golden Freddy's suit and the two children inside the Pizzaplex

It’s pretty neat. The new generation dealing with what old ones did. Cassidy passed down the whole stop Springtrap thing, to Cassie’s father, and Gregory destroy a ton of animatronics, even though CC was terrified of them.
there is something i want to add to this. the animatronics and Vanny all seems to see Gregory, yet no one mentions why his stuff was left in the basement when cassie got there, and 2) no one mentions what Freddy meant when he told Gregory that he isn't in the registry(your guest profile is unknown to me) could that have hinted that he was dead at that point, since well he is a complete resemblance to the crying child. would that make the crying child Gregory Afton?
even in the papers he was one of the 6 children missing, if gregory did escape and survived, why would the papers still consider him missing, wouldn't he be considered found at that point? notice how quite literally nothing after security breach mentions Gregory, except cassie who was tricked by the mimic, mimicking his voice?

Another thing to point out is that the photo booth in FNAF AR, where you can take pictures of your FNAF AR skins, there are filters that you can add.
The very last one has a red curtain with a wooden sign that reads, “Come one come all, the Fazbear circus”. I even have proof of it in the community section of my channel to prove it.

It’s the little things.
While a lot of people have pointed out that Cassidy's drowning could've been via drowning through internal bleeding (a dry drowning, I think it's called, bc there isn't any water involved technically), I wanna elaborate on it.
Because I think there's a lot to suggest that Cassidy wasn't killed prior to being stuffed, but rather killed via being stuffed. There's that one Fazbear Frights story about kids being lured to a fazbear suit and pulled inside of it. There's the fact Cassidy is so vengeful, implying a lot of agony was experienced by them. Especially if you consider that Cassidy was killed last: first they're lured into a room full of dead kids in suits and then they're stuffed (or alternatively, like Afton later, attempted to escape his reach by hiding in the Golden suit only for the spring locks to be activated).
There's the fact that Golden Freddy is limp and listless in FNAF 1, in a pose reminiscent of the sprinlocked William without the twitching. Cassidy may not have died right away, given the fact there's the candy cadet story about a key to saving one life. Near fatal injuries are survivable, even if the chances are extremely slim in most cases.
There's also the notion that the drowning iconography could be purely symbolic. It's possible that for Cassidy, their afterlife feels like they're constantly drowning. They're, after all, stuck. Tethered. Held beneath the surface that is release. In fact, I think that might be very likely.
'Leave the demon to his demons, rest your own soul.' To escape Old Man Consequences, you have to drown. I think drowning might be symbolic of Cassidy chosing to chase their murderer again and again, refusing to let go or rest.
And I don't think these ideas need be mutually exclusive to one another. I think they can run concurrently.

Cassidy's corpse (assuming it's their's) not appearing until the end of the FNAF 2 "Give Gifts, Give Life" minigame, always felt like to me implied that maybe they weren't killed in the saferoom. And it isn't exactly uncharacteristic of William to go after a child outside the pizzaria, as now seen in the movie. So perhaps Cassidy was kidnapped and drowned in a lake by William.
But the major counter evidence for that idea is the news clippings in FNAF 1 that talk about FIVE kids getting lured in and killed. Unless you want the fifth kid in that situation to be Andrew (which is an idea I don't really like myself tbh). It would also beg the question of how they ended up as Golden Freddy, if they weren't killed in a Freddy's.
adding onto the counter, Cassidy still needs to possess Golden Freddy in some way, that just doesn't really work out if she was drowned in a lake with the whole proximity=possession thing, and the argument for Garrett can be that he was the first victim and seperate from MCI.

Another suggestion I've seen in the comments here is that maybe they drowned in their own blood in the suit they were stuffed into. It makes a lot more sense with what we know, but I can't help but think all the water-related imagery is suggesting something more.
(dumb speculation i don’t normally theory craft) i think it may still possible for william to kidnap then kill kids outside the pizzeria. Now i know the movie has its own separate timeline butttt the fact that william went out of his way to kidnap garret then kill him (which we don’t know where he was killed tho and the mystery with GF being a blonde boy but his face is taped over the first child) could have some similarities or rules that may apply to the games

As a lot of other people in the comments have pointed out, Cassidy probably drowned in her own blood from the spring lock failure. On pg. 269 of The Silver Eyes, William explains to Carlton, "Your vocal cords will be severed, and your lungs will fill up with your own blood until you drown in it."
Hi Forsaken AR dev here and I just wanted to leave some comments on the video!
while there is no official way to play FNaF AR now, ForsakenBonnie (the creator of Forsaken AR) has archived Versions 1.0.0 and 8.0. These versions act basically as the original game with no extra content (unlike Forsaken AR which does add new content). Some things are changed such as the shop and removed microtransaction, but that's so you can collect everything those versions have to offer.
My thoughts: The Puppet, Cassie and Baby are much more alive because their deaths and suit "injection" are a lot closer in happening.
In the give life events the children already look like ghost/skeletons.
However, the Puppet was right after she died and Baby was right as she died. So that leaves the vengeful spirit Cassie to most likely have actually died in the suit.
This makes a lot of sense in terms of the give gifts/give life mini game, and the relative levels of awareness/sentience the various animatronics show.
If we go with Cassidy = Golden Freddy = Vengeful Spirit, then dying inside Golden Freddy makes sense, with the drowning being a case of drowning in her own blood or perhaps a case of ‘dry drowning’. Based on the original newspaper clippings, Cassidy would have been one of two children simultaneously lured by William as the final two. It’s likely she is literally “the one you should not have killed” because she was never part of the plan. If William is somehow motivated by the bite of ‘83, it makes (twisted) sense that he would basically create effigies of the 4 masked bullies. Cassidy was a random plus one and William had to act fast. So likely he did something to incapacitate Cassidy so he could deal with the fourth child in a manner similar to the others. He may have gagged her to keep her quiet until he had time, or even stuffed her in the Golden Freddy costume while she was still alive, both things that could have lead to some form of asphyxiation.
With the way the series likes to echo itself, we don’t see how William handled Golden Freddy when he was dismantling the others. It would be fitting if the process of taking out Golden Freddy was similarly drowning themed. Alternatively, he never actually bothered with Golden Freddy, but Cassidy driving William into the Spring Bonnie suit is the parallel instead. William dies like she did, comes back like she did, and like the first time, it is her that ruins his plan. He probably wouldn’t have been ‘caught’ on tape if not for Cassidy. His luring one child at a time seemed to be going unnoticed. [he would put a similar rule in place for Circus Baby, never deal with two kids at once].
It’s also an interesting contrast of drowning vs burning. Perhaps Cassidy’s ability to keep William alive “no matter how many times they burn us” is tied to her drowning.
I don't know about you Rye but a whole circus full of still moving on fire animatronics and fursuits running around on flames sounds like a pretty traumatic experience to me

I have a theory: the reason the lake is red as opposed to, well, normal lake colours is because it could symbolize that William Drowned cassidy in their own Blood by springlocking them into golden Freddy while they were still alive. My two main reasons why I say this is because in chapter 9 of the silver eyes novel, Dave aka William Afton literally sais: "You'll try to scream but you'll be unable to: your vocal cords will be severed and your lungs will fill with your own blood until you drown in it" when describing what springlocking feels like. This also works out very nicely because without the ability to vocalize, nobody would be able to hear Cassidy's torment throughout the rest of the building.
It also makes me think that similar to william in the fnaf 3 minigame, a Springlocked Cassidy would reatain conciousness for some time, perhaps even long enough to witness William remove the golden bonnie disguised he lured the missing children into the back room with, and thus becaome directly vengful to him, solidifying Cassidy's / Golden Freddy's role as the leader of the souls dring the games.

One thing that can be some supporting evidence that the sister location characters may have been around in Fall Fest is the sister location 8bit mini game. The reason I bring up the mini game is the fact that in the mini game baby is giving cupcake to kids outside. Unlike every other mini game, the sister location one is the only one that shows it’s outside (I know that FNAF 4 shows the crying child outside, but that’s beside the point). The mini game is supposed to show how Elizabeth died before the opening of circus baby’s pizza world, but why would baby be outside, unless it was done in some sort of outside event. I know this theory isn’t perfect because it may contradict the gas leak that happened at circus baby’s, but this is just some food for thought when thinking how far back the stuff from sister location could have been in the timeline.
I believe the "Gas Leak" was not a real thing, just what the Company said happened to explain why they weren't opening

I can only really think of one thing for the whole drowning Cassidy thing. Obviously there's the whole 'drowning in her own blood springlock failure' theory which I also think is true, but other than that there is one other thing.
We know that Old Man Consequences was trying to convince Cassidy to end things (Leave the demon to his demons and all that). So, if Afton did escape and/or Cassidy chose to let him pass on, I could see Old Man Consequences trying to force her to move on when she wished to return to the world. Maybe he attempted to drown her in the infamous lake, wrapping her in chains, but she broke out and managed to flee into the digital world, becoming the Princess.
I know it's unlikely, but it's the only explanation I can think of (and honestly, it's one I really like).
18:27 it could simply be that she was the most brutal of all the killings, which would obviously leave a "pool of red" but another theory i've heard being used recently is the idea that she was springlocked. In the books afton describes a failure as being extremely painful and that your lungs would fill with blood as you drown in your own blood

Another note:
If Cassidy really is the Princess, it actually could make a lot of sense. After all, the Princess was named Cassidy in the files. Security Breach and the newer games have TONS of Ultimate Custom Night references, (which the mimic would not know about just saying) like OMC being labeled in Help Wanted2’s Princess Quest ending. There could be evidence that maybe Cassidy or the Agony of her is still left at the PizzaPlex. I also made a recent descovery that changed my perspective on this franchise- The novel trilogy (Silver Eyes, Twisted Ones, Fourth Closet all have incredible ammount of references in Security Breach, kinda off topic but worth noting)
In Fury’s rage there is a map that is a run down alley way behind it is a massive circus tent. Also in this alley we can see Scraptrap outside of the FNaF 6 location this suggests that this circus / carnival takes place after Sister Loaction and before FNaF 6.
Adding onto @LionPKrono theory, it could’ve also drawn her to springlock William, wanting to see him getting a taste of his own medicine…. blood! Which would be what he would probably taste, hence “ drowning in their own blood. “

Cassidy being the one William shouldn't have killed combined with this information makes me wonder about the circumstances. It could be a much more tragic start to the killings, a fire starts and a william not yet corrupted by agony tries to save a child by putting them into the golden Freddy suit and putting it into the dunk tank. It should have enough oxygen to outlast the flames, and will give her the strength to pull herself to safety afterwards. Unfortunate William never learns what springlocks do when wet until decades later.
Later, at the hospital william regains consciousness - and learns that instead of sacrificing his life to save cassidy, he miraculously survived while she seemingly disappeared. Now corrupted by agony, the force which saved his life, William investigates what he would come to call 'remnant'. It can posess robots, keep people alive, and with the agony's influence he isn't as moral a man as he used to be.
If my wild conjecture follows, it would make mike and william foils. It also ties up the immortal and restless, William obviously doesn't care for Mike, seeing as he sends mike to his death in the bunker; but Mike and William both manage to come back from death with remnant - although different governing emotions. Agony may be the most powerful, but Mike's guilt is negative enough to shine through.
YEAH! HOLY SHT! That would make so much sense!!! In the Fall Fest she ends up drowning in the tank and in her own blood due to the springlocks which is why there's a red lake. She drowned in two ways basically.
I always thought that William could've been good, but some kid's death made him become the way he is now because of what happened.
Her death made him like this either due to the agony from her and attached to him or because he saw that her death made Golden Freddy look more alive and started on his experiments with the Funtimes and so on!

Dunk tanks exist in carnivals. Also those duck pond games where you throw rings and try to get them around their necks. Lots of low cost water based games in carnivals, cutting corners and using a tub wouldn't be crazy. Just trying to tie in why they're the "one you shouldn't have killed" unless it's just a threatening thing to say? Like "you shouldn't have killed ME, I'm here to GET you now" type deal. Also why they use golden freddy to possess. Maybe that suit was used to lure them and then drown them?

Shot in the dark but it’s a chained up golden Freddy being pulled out of a lake, what if he just tossed her into one? Like the one under the pizzaplex which would explain why golden Freddy can teleport, cause it’s not there.
If you think about it, Vanny IS deeply related to some kind of fall festival, due to the end of Curse of Dreadbear depicting the Vanny mask under the maze in the bunker. So, a game about said fall fest may depict the original creation/possession of Vanessa, while also giving us history on the circus animatronics.
Combine this information with the fact that we've almost never really *seen* the golden freddy suit, only spectral projections of it, and the red lake below the pizza plex connecting back to Cassidy, a game about the fall fest may depict the drowning of Cassidy occured at a fall fest years back. Even further evidenced by the old character suits assumed to be from fall fest which are ALSO near the red lake. Maybe it's possible that the golden freddy suit was down here at some point.

and GF being locked up could be related to FnaF 4 where the child in the bedroom seems to be in a coma - the medical equipment that appears - and GF being fallen over is alluding to the youngest dying?
We know William's associated with Springbonnie but then maybe this means the Afton's youngest child was Elizabeth - maybe she was literally a circus baby - a baby born at the time they ran the circus?

I think cassidy was killed by being put into the golden freddy springlock suit, then thrown into some body water, activating the water sensitive springlocks, and causing her to suffer an excruciating death. Both drowned and pierced by springlocks simultaneously. It would tie both the death by water evidence and parallel her and the spirits kill william with by activating the springlocks with water.

Is there anyway that this maybe just is to support that everything that happened and the “games” by the indie devs were so spooky and supernatural to 1. cover up the real tragedies and 2. out of ignorance. What if at the older Fall Fest, a lot of people or maybe kids died in the fire, explaining the reoccurrence of fires in the pre-modern installments. Maybe it was the mask quartet w Jeremy and Mike. Maybe the MCI was done during fallfest, and maybe Cassidy happened to be drowned. Again, its not like the original in-games timeline and lore didnt happen and didnt all line up, but this is almost the “true real world events” outside of those games’ inaccurate lore/story (despite SB, Ruin, Help Wanted etc. being our in-universe games). Idk, food for thought.

I like the connection to the story "Drowning". When I read it it seemed a little too disconnected, like who is the girl in the water and why would she pull others in with her. Her being (the) vengeful (spirit) would kinda explain that.

Pointing out the theming of ballora, rkng master foxy and escape golden freddy os interesting. They are in some way, the other 3 members kf the afton family, those we know very little about. Afton, we know a lot. Elizabeth, not a ton, but certainly a lot more than; dead weeping child, MIA wife, and dead purple teenager
Having Cassidy die differently from the other kids would make sense as to why she often stands as the odd one out, also it being a more “violent” death (whether it’s drowning or a spring lock thing) would add as to why she seems to be more vengeful and powerful than the others
Though I will say idk how this would give credence to the “one you shouldn’t have killed” statements since it seems more like “you messed around and now you’re finding out” than as to a clue of what makes her so different

In another pizzaplex book, a mother is implied to have 'self-given up' in a bath tub (the one where the son thinks he's an animatronic). With Ballora being present in the game and often thought to represent Mrs Afton, perhaps there's some sort of extremely loose thread there?
It is also worth mentioning that the walls in the dark circus appear to be striped following the color pallete of balloon boy, further proving that he is from that era.

In RUIN, when going into the Servers section, you can se a giant Freddy laying on the ground right below all the corridors you walk through. Maybe another reference to Golden Freddy drowning?
I can confirm that at 15:14 that it is indeed a bathtub. I’ve taken countless looks at that because some puzzle codes would spawn there and it does have a drain in it
I FEEL SO VINDICATED! I have been saying this for YEARS. Dark circus is the answer, thank you for covering it!
I think this explains why Cassidy is the most aggressive of them all. He went further than he'd ever gone before. I dont think he immediately killed Cassidy once in the suit. It's been shown in the novels that you can survive quite some time if holding still before you mess up and get springlocked. I think he stuffed her, kept her there until nightfall, and then took her to a lake right next to the pizzeria where nobody could see, chained her for good measure so that she couldn't remove the suit from herself, and threw her in. He watched her drown. It would explain why she has no physical animatronic form. It's not in the restaurant. It was in the lake, where nobody would think to check. Who would be stupid enough to hide a child's body in a lake a few steps from a pizzeria in the middle of nowhere anyways, its the most populated place and wouldn't make sense to hide there. So that's what he did. At least in my opinion. She's more aggressive because her death wasn't just strange and horrific, it was slow, dreadful, and over the top.
And the reason I think the lake would be close enough to achieve that without being caught by anyone is that, in Ruin the destroyed underground pizzeria which is somewhat assumed to have been a fredbear's or early Freddy's far before your time owning it and in that same game, that lake is not difficult to get to from there at all. Especially when you consider the early freddys and fredbears locations were local and small, secluded in small parking lots in the woods easily missed without a sign out front. I personally think it makes a lot of sense but I'm not the end all be all.

I'm going to go in a little of a rant if you don't mind, and take a little more metaphorical aproach.
1: Golden Freddy and Pixel freddy obviusly represent Cassidy. No real argument about that.
2: Cassidy seems to be trapped. As we see Golden Freddy chained + Pixel Freddy becomes trapped the moment he steps into the water.
3: I was wondering for a while what the lake could represent, but I ultimately landed on... The History of Fazbear Entertainment... Look, I know it's a strech, but think for a moment. Cassidy could be searching for something, whenever she's looking for Afton, or just some answers (Maybe why he did what he did, or something like that.), she goes deeper and deeper with no real results, until she finds the lake. The OMC tries to warn her, to leave it be and rest her soul, but she doesn't do that. And as we see, she falls down the lake... Forever. We litteraly see her fall up until our game crashes. And when we look at her current states (the Grand Escape GF, the Drowned girl, and maybe the Princess?) It kindof makes sence. She stumbled upon the source of all the information she needs.
So I have two explonations for her current aggresion:
a) She found the answer she was looking for, and it made her either go crazy, or make her extremely pissed off (or both.)
b) She cannot find the information she's seaching for and it's making her go crazy (As she feels that the answer has to be there somewhere.)
Anyway, rant over, sorry for wasting your time with my crazy theories... 😅

This is probably bonkers. A child that may have drowned in the games could be the child that William murdered outside in the rain, maybe broke her neck and left her to drown in a puddle. But that doesn't make sense, I thought, that's Charlie, not Cassidy.
Are we 100% certain that Charlie exists in the game timeline? Could it be the case that Cassidy and Charlie have always been counterparts across the timelines? And I'm actually asking here, I'm not sure what our evidence is that Charlie exists. If Charlie doesn't exist, that would confuse the distinction between Golden Freddy and the Puppet. And maybe cast a new light on Lefty in the alley, posed just like Golden Freddy, with the Puppet inside. Does that mean that the Puppet has been inside a Freddy suit before?
Again this is completely out there, wild theory.
Fnaf 6, Henry/tape guy makes it clear that it is his kid who died out in the rain, and then possessed the puppet. The puppet and the vengeful spirit/cassidy are two different characters

I'm seeing a lot of theories about drowning in her own blood and uf you think about it that would make sense of why the lake is red. Blood is red.
Do you think that lefty could be a refurbished carnie? This is a very long shot, im talkin 100 yard football kick, but it's just some fun thoughts that could conjure up something in the community.
If you look at burnt carnie's model, you can just barely see that his right eye is more withered. You may have to squint. But say that at that time his right eye got replaced because it was the most damaged of the two, after decades of collecting dust and rotting away, the untouched eye could have decayed to the point of becoming black. As Henry repared carnie to become lefty, the original eye may have stayed or been replaced with a new black eye for a unique touch.
A more realistic approach could be the lefty's design is INSPIRED by his burnt orginal. The eye rotted eye i just mentioned could have inspired the black eye detail.
One specific character of that I think could drive home this theory is the color. Burnt carnie is a muted brown with white char accents. But if you were to scrape all of burnt plastic off, you be left with a black tarnished metal. Notice that lefty is not solid black, but a metalic, gun metal black.
I think it is possibe that lefty is either a repaired version of carnie, with it's new design based on the chared scraps of the original, or lefty was a completely different animatronic who's build was inspired by the remains of his counterpart.
By the location of Fazer Blast and hint we see, I think that carnie was most likely a part of Fall Fest(most likely the 1970 event) if so, do you think it's possible that carnie was one of Henry's first animatronics. That was a whole decade before our first look at fredbears.
Whether or not Fredbear's opened before 1983. I highly doubt that it was an establishment before 1970. I noticed that there is no sign of Freddy’s or Fredbear's on the poster. Which leads me to believe that this fall fest may have predated everything.
The running theory is that the mediocre melodies were his first animatronics, made to rip off Freddy’s fame. But being that we see an animatronic a decade before that, that closely resembles one of his final animatronics. It really seems that carnie could be his first.
Here's some food for thought. Henry has been deemed a copycat in the early timeline for the mediocre melodies. But if he made his first BEAR animatronic at a children's theme event in 1970, is he really the copycat? If William stole the idea and made Fredbear's, and Fredbear's became as big as it did. No one would bat an eye at a small carnival with a simple bear animatronic.
I don't know if I like this idea, but I'm just throwing everything I got to see what sticks. Is it possible that William set the carnival on fire to one, preventing it from becoming more successful. And two, to take that idea and reuse it for himself. I don't think he was pure evil at this point, or really evil at all. But it's still just a thought.
I don't really think that lefty is a remade carnie. I think it's possible that the design could have been inspired by the withered design. But I doubt that they put that much thought into a connection like that.
I am pretty confident, though, that carnie was most likely the first and that Henry was never really the copycat. But more so, tried to reclaim the ideas stolen from him later on after William's fame.
Makes sense to me. They've been pushing the circus concept for quite sometime. It feels better for the security breach games to be tied back up to what we know from before too
What if Cassidy is at a recreation of the fnaf world not in the AR world ? Just like she can teleport with the glitched objects just like in the fnaf world what if the mega Pizza plex is the fnaf world or in that area is were it was and it’s just using it’s surprisings to recreate the fnaf world. What if Charlie is the one recreating the fnaf world to help guide the other children’s souls maybe the one in the poster in the bad ending of security breach?

having Golden Freddy wrapped in chains in more than one place/game feels very significant. I'm more drawn to that than any drowning theme, it feels like it makes more sense. Golden Freddy being the one that keeps UTC going, forever; chained to Afton, to any FNAF thing. trapped. caged. unable to break free. but that was also their choice.
maybe in this timeline, Golden Freddy is a force to be held back at all costs? maybe because Golden Freddy has always had the most hatred? power? Glam Rock Freddy breaks free of his chains, in a way.
maybe the chains on Golden Freddy are there to hold them back and restrain them, played off as a trick?

I work in a store and in the backroom we have an industrial sink that we can use to fill mop buckets in case of spills
it's in the corner of the room and on the floor there are small cement walls about 6-7 inches tall making a water tight open box on the floor with a faucet on the wall to fill it
Freddie's would need to be cleaned (obviously) so they would need mops (i even think one of the members of trash and the gang is a mop) so in the back room their would be an industrial sink built into the floor
it's also a well known fact that a person can drown and die in a 1/2 inch puddle if they are unlucky. some children have even died this way because they fall down and hit their head and go unconscious and fall face first into a puddle
what if when William was cleaning up either from killing the missing children and/or putting their bodies into the suits or trying to remove their bodies from the suits after the police investigations are over so he can get rid of them without being caught Cassidy being a curious child went into the employees only backroom (kids often break the rules like this because their just kids and don't know better) and she found Afton cleaning up the blood on the floor by mopping and because he wasn't expecting to be caught he was unprepared and he knew she saw something incriminating in his panic drowned her in the sink built into the floor which would also tie into why Cassidy is refereed to as 'the one you should not have killed' in UCN. he never meant to kill her she wasn't one of his targets she should have been safe from him

One thing I also wanna point out to add to the idea of Fall Fest is FNAF World, here me out on this.
The credits theme in HW2 is a remix of the Update 2 hub theme, y'know the weird Halloweeny place. The fact that it is all Halloween themed, since we get characters like those from the FNAF 4 Halloween update and just the environment in general, like we're seeing in all this Fall Fest stuff helps with the idea that Fall Fest is definitely something they're gonna touch on real soon.
The AR Golden Glamrock Freddy plush even is described with "looks like the one in lobby".
Speaking of plush, the one in base being in Monty's room, I've wondered about, based off Andrew and Old Man Consequences. Almost suggestions of Cassidy possessing Monty, but I kinda doubt that.
For further evidence, in ultimate custom night if you use a death coin on golden Freddy, you get jumpscared by freadbear and hear some muffled noise that almost makes it sound like he’s under water
This is very circus themed and recently the the mimic has revealed to be a circus character, and in fnaf help wanted 2 there was lots of circus themed areas. It is definitely connected.

Thought I'd just point it out, the name of Sister Location is Circus Baby Entertainment and Rentals. They rent the Funtimes out to parties and events and by the looks of it, FallFest is included in that.
Ballora is your classic stereotypical Gypsy mixed with a ballerina. You often find Gypsy-themed attractions at carnivals and cheap festivals. Why she’s a ballerina? Fazbear decided it was best to rebrand the original Ballora design to be more like a ballerina in order to not be accused of any bigotry
Circus Baby is a clown. She sings, dances, whatever you need her to do as a clown should do. Even her name, “Baby”, isn’t a name you’d typically expect on anyone except some sort of clown.
Funtime Freddy is meant to be a puppeteer performer with BonBon. A ventriloquist, in other words. Another thing you’d find at a carnival or festival. He has the goofy voice and the ability to alter his voice itself to do different impressions… and lure kids.
Funtime Foxy is hard at first. What would be their purpose? Well we get our answer in UCN. Funtime Foxy is a sort of announcer and show runner. Just listen to their voice, they sound like an old radio host. They’d walk up on stage, say “up next is the Jaw-Dropping Act of Ballora Ballerina! Return at 5 o’clock to witness the act!”

I love that theory! I think it would be an important plot point because it's Golden Freddy. Golden Freddy is important to the lore, but at the same time, we still don't know much about him.(Also, a Golden Freddy backstory game would be nice).
2 things, 1: i do like how respectful they are in the games with the kids deaths (i think they got a lil more graphic in the pizzaplex books but i haven’t read them this is just what MattPatt said one time) cuz it would be so easy to use it for horror or shock factor and 2: “how would Afton drown a kid in Freddy’s?” Do y’all remember the non-canon fazbear frights book about the shark animatronic?

The chains, drowning, an escape water tank and escape room. That's Saw trap stuff. And there was the weird Saw trap mask in the movie. I haven't read them, but I've heard that the Pizzaplex books can be shockingly violent. I'd say that FNaF is moving in a more graphic and violent direction, but I can't imagine why they'd do that. They make a lot of money walking the horror for kids line.
Sometimes I like to imagine how was the experiences of the steelwool employes who are making the games with Scott having to explain the lire of FNAF.
I mean imagine you are just an executive that problably has just some relative surface level knowledge of FNAF and then you are one of the few people who are completely expised to the whole lore by the creator himself. Having to make note of dates, animatronic models, amount of pizzarias, fazgoo, remnant, the murder and fate of many children, their names and where they were hidden.
I just imagine that meme of the guy trying to explain a conspiracy theory as Scott while the executives are listening as if they understand what was happening.
The Dark Circus has always been my favourite set of skins. The skins generally were the part of FNAF AR that I'm going to miss the most.
I remember Magician mangle being revealed and then everyone comparing them to Sans because of the telekinesis and that glowing blue eye.
I think that bathtub in Fall Fest is either an apple bobbing tank or grab the duck game [like the one in FNaF6] those are usually played in barrels or animal food/water troughs.
It would be pretty cool to see an earlier Fall Fest, mostly because I think it would be great to get Steel Wool’s interpretations of the Afton kids. Fall Fest 1983 did have the Afton House in the background, so it’s likely they attended before they all died. And I mean hey, we did get a lot of hints about Cassie’s dad possibly being the Bonnie mask kid. Getting to see Michael and His Boys(tm) in 3D would be pretty cool!
Only place I can think in the restaurant where Cassidy could have been drowned is the toilet, and if I was swirlied to death, I think I would be a pretty vengeful spirit too
The fall fest event and the thought of the funtime animatronics being a part of it could make sense. Cause didn't they say that Circus baby's pizza world closed down due to a gas leak? And the fact that fallfest kept depicting a fire had happened..? I mean they said in the sister location gas leak message that the building went for sale and no mentions of a fire. But it's still a strong coincidence at that.

About the fire at the carnival i just wanted to add that irl animatronics often accidentally caught fire (anyways i saw a lot of videos about that on youtube) and in this mini game your trapped in a room with a lot of highly flammable objects and you fight 3 animatronics from what i understand 😅😅 idk 🤷♂️ just an idea .. not very satisfying tho .. anyway keep it up and long life to you and your cats ❤❤
