I played Destiny vanilla when it first came out in 2014 and never played Destiny 2 until this month. The content and lore is just so vast. When I watch this, I honestly have no idea what I'm looking at. It looks impossible to figure out on your own. I thought the first part looked hard, and then I skipped ahead to part 4 and felt like I was trying to learn how to read a foreign language for the first time. Props to what-I assume-was a pretty flawless run.

I had a similar experience with vow. it's ok man, you'll always remember how far you got. you don't need an emblem to validate that. good shit brother, got farther than I did. i know you'll remember that run for as long as the raid is on D2 servers. relax now, you've earned it.

PS. If your DPS sucked through the entire raid and your team did all 3 phases for all boss encounters, you ended up saving the universe 15 times lorewise. (Notice all the wipe counter is something like "final shape looming" or "imminent end")
Such a fun raid. The witness is one of the coolest bosses ever. Can’t wait for the next big bad. May I also just say. I knew still hunt was going to be a monster. So many people said they didn’t know where it would fit into dps rotations. And people are using it as there main damage. 😂. I really like it though. Having a special ammo dps weapon opens up the door for using machine guns more to clear ads.
It's a great idea but they would need to rework a bunch of mechanics in each raid. For me I would have been happy to just take on the bosses in a boss rush with solo in my mind just a true test of your solo skills.
I'm happy we got a good raid this time first I'm glad that we got 5 encounters this time all the other raids after last wish excluding remasters had only 4 encounters so salvation's edge having 5 encounters feels alot more complete and verity is a fantastic encounter the witness raid boss is the best I hope salvation's edge sets a standard in future raid like 5 encounters 2 bosses 3 puzzles
Looks like a fun challenging raid. Don't know if ill ever do it. Seems my clan is not very raid active anymore 😢. Back in the clans hay day there would be around a dozen raid time slots for the week that you can sign up for on Discord. Very fun times with some great people. Sad that things changed but i guess people move on with their lives.
Please I just want a raid guide from literally anywhere, it's been all of contest mode, 48 hours, my friends are all burnt out from brute forcing it, I've been at work and because of the former, I've got no one to play it with, LFG is loaded with 'KWTD' and all the vods of people clearing it is censored or muted so I can't even learn from those because the mics are muted, this is the closest thing to informative I could find. I've been working all weekend, missed contest and just want to give the newest raid a crack as usual. Fucking love raids but I'm hating how silent everyone is being about the raid. I'd take a Rick Khackis guide over this insane silence. Please Eso, Datto's not dropped anything, I don't have any forums to go to for answers on how to do encounters and I'm feeling pretty lost. I know you usually do solo flawless content and small snippet guides but we're all really starved for information on how to get this done.
Bruh you realize every person that cleared it, besides the worlds first, took them more than 24 hrs of straight playtime total to get a clear. Would you want to work on making a bunch of guides the very next day? There will be video guides don't worry dude. I wouldn't expect them until at least tomorrow or Tuesday.

Personally i find it difficult to do a raid only because i play games only to be anti social lol. Raids make me talk to people which is not why i like games lol. Would rather solo the raid than to speak to another person.

Because they are the pinnacle of cooperation and coordination. If you can't bring yourself to learn and try to expand your horizons then you shouldnt complain about those that did put in effort.

I'm more complaining on my own social abilities rather than the game itself. Granted I managed to enter the first encounter by myself which was a mission alone. So it's a very good job for anyone doing this without no guide and with one.
The game has always had content you need to lfg for, almost all multiplayer games are like that, just don't do it if you're all horny about not taking to people

Bungie should add in all raids solo modes for extra challenge that are doable if you got the skillsz without glitching etc.

Contest mode your at -25 light from enemies so they absolutely shred you. Eso just makes it look easy
