Nope changed the spark plug and it was still the same, i even changed the valves and it didnt help, so i just gave up and drove it as it was, but i tried a differend procedure to start it and it helped a little, but it still needed 5-10 kicks to start when cold :)
I have a 2008 crf 250. I never have much problem to cold start it. 1 or 2 kick whit the choke knob out but if it's colder than 10 degrees Celsius I use to twist the throttle 1 or 2 times to shoot in some extra fuel whit the accelerator pump. It's the hot starting that can be more of a problem in my opinion, when the engine is really hot after 15-20 minutes on the track it can be a pain in the ass to start, I've sent after a new piston it has 60 hours on it and thats probably a little to much, so I hope it'll improve the hot starts.
I had trouble starting it cold after 1 year i bought it, hot start was never a problem of course if i didnt stall the engine. The carburetor or valves were probably the problem.

Svenskan 007 Thanks. Sometimes when the bike is cold it needs a few more kicks to start and it has been sitting for 6months or more. Yes i got motocross boots but didn’t use them.
Connors Mx when i bought it, it had around 250h-300h + the hours i did with it which was 110h. So it has around 400h in total. When i filmed this video the bike had 50h after general rebuild.

Had the same problem with my bike at cold start...but after cleaning the carburetor it was much better
For me cleaning the carburetor didnt help unfortunately

I think this bikes are know for having trouble with starting. So yes its better to just accept it or find a different way to start it.

Sem šel na avtonet pogleda in ja je ta motor. Samo jst sem ga prodal kakšne slabe pol leta nazaj tako da ni več v moji lasti.

Give it a shot of STARTING FLUID on carb. filter and it's 1st kick every time
