The world is full of stupid, negative people, and the internet is the perfect medium for these types to piss on others in safety and anonymity. Ignore the trolls and the haters and those that want to feel superior by pointing to some meaningless technicality in a video. You make great videos and for those who have watched your content you are obviously a very competent pilot - I never get tired of watching you shoot down bombers! - and hey - you even managed to keep your aircraft intact during your 9 point landing in this video :)
I dont mind these style videos Fishyyy, if anything else, you could always make it a podcast style where you discuss a mission with a friend that also did that specific mission. Then you wont be talking to yourself 😜

It's interesting to know the "backstage" of your videos and all, it gives us a better understanding on how you create/record missions, the technical limitations/issues of the game and the mods, I know a japanese guy 1465supersensitive who also make Il-2 videos (mainly Japan vs Allies) on YT, maybe he has some tricks/mods for the game that could interest you? (I don't know that many Il-2 1946 players on YT) I hope you will be able to create/record missions without that much trouble in the future, and yeah, more videos like this please, it's really interesting ^^

Great video! "Der Würger" is a favorite of mine, especially with Barnesy's 3D upgrade. The Fw 190 became difficult to land starting with the 4.12 patch (or maybe 4.11). Best solution I've found is plenty of elevator trim to bring the nose up and help bring the approach speed down.
Just the idea of a guy existing like the one whose comment you describe from 43:12 is so funny to me. I would pay to be able to see the world for a day through the eyes of someone like that. Just an incredible specimen.
The oldschool lets play format of someone just talking over a game with no theatrics is nostalgic. It's a lost art, really. That's how I really got into IL-2 years ago.

Yes, indeed the original IL-2 was made in an era where head tracking was borderline nonexistant. Hats and snapping view, mouse emulation with an analog ministick, and physically using the mouse itself are all options.
We did a full Lancaster raid and unless there are some major developments in the game's AI it's probably going to stay the only full night raid we ever do.

Does ypack change the default flight models? Seems to me that planes lose less speed when maneuvering compared to stock

Depends on the version. There is one modpack with ~3000 or so and it also has the Stirling.
I would like to see some out of the mainstream bomber flights. If possible.
