The pricing in that country is the same as the USA. and it should be at least one quarter the price. How can you charge people what you charge
I was born in Venezuela and currently living in Florida. Venzuela is by far one of the most naturally stunning countries in the world. It has from deserts, to tropical rainforests, to tundras. It’s a shame the image that the government gives. I visited Venezuela last summer and stayed there for two months. I was actually surprised on how much better it has gotten after they started using the dollar. I thank you for this video ❤

Venezuela should be an economic powerhouse in South America. They have vast oil reserves and many natural resources. The Caribbean beaches are beautiful, which should be the Cancun of South America. I am from Mexico and we are blessed to live next to the promised land (USA). I hope Venezuela becomes a prosperous country again.

Drew thank so much for this video, I was born in Venezuela, now I live in Sydney and this is so refreshing to watch, the world and even ourselves are use to only have in mind right now, all the problems and dangers that this country has. Thanks for showing this, it brought some tears in my eyes.
are you ready to see the beauty's of venezuela....... i already did... the most beautyfull of venezuela are the people.... so warm so welcome...... best trip of my life.... no second thoughts
I love how whilst Drew takes us on his incredible journeys with him, he’s always showing us our humanity- that we’re more alike than not. Once thriving countries can suddenly be barely surviving countries. It can happen to any of us.
Yeah America is going down fast and the reason is most likely fiscally liberal policies. It’s nice to be socially liberal and give everyone freedom but with economics the left leaning countries besides Norway and Sweden the world economies sucks that are socialist and communist
How could I possibly 'experience' the friendliness of the citizens of Venezuela without your bravery. Yes, bravery. With high level of poverty, drug related violence, gangs, it certainly is not a choice any sane person would make for travel, but you did it. I got to see the beauty of the countryside, hustle and bustle of the Caracas, all from the warmth of my den. I've come to admire the way you relate to people, bringing out what makes Venezuela unique despite the dangers. Smiles, food, adventures the locals lead you to made this documentary one of my favorites. Thank you!
You’re literally living my dream life, traveling and documenting people in that natural state. Thanks for giving the example. This is like Anthony Bourdain 2.0. Amazing work Drew.
Venezuela is a beautiful country with a lovely, colorful population and I wish the best for them and their country. Here in the US, most of us take our stability, prosperity, and freedoms for granted, they fail to understand how fragile and unique such things are. Venezuela is, sadly, an example of how quickly and thoroughly a people's fortunes and freedoms can slip away, and the struggle of life afterwards. Life, Liberty, and prosperity should never be taken for granted, most people will never have them and for those that do and lose them, it is unlikely they will ever get them back , at least not in one lifetime. I pray you all will find peace and prosperity, and the good health and freedom to enjoy them.
Hi Drew. This is Kenath from Srilanka. I watched your Sri Lankan episode but it not covers much. I hope you will come back here and do a full documentry. We're in our the worst crisis of the history of our country. I watched all of your videos in this channel and let me know when you're here I would love to show you around. Can't wait to see you man. Good Luck
Loved this…grew up in the neighbouring island of Trinidad 🇹🇹 and loved seeing the outline of Venezuela from our coasts. Hoping to visit soon and learn about where my great grandparents migrated from. 😊
Drew, between the time you went to Venezuela over a year ago and now, Venezuela is a very different country. It is now two completely stories. Now the US dollar is the "formal" currency and every one uses it to pay for everything. The economic situation in the past year has changed significantly, to the extent that all multinational worldwide financial institutions are saying that Venezuela will be the country with the largest economic growth in Latin America in 2023. Inflation has basically ceased with the US dollar being now the "formal" currency. Hardly anyone now uses the local currency to make any payments. And best news is that for whatever reason, Venezuela has bettered significantly in security. Watch recent videos to confirm what I am writing here. You will always be welcome in Venezuela! 🇻🇪 🇺🇲
As a Venezuelan it was amazing to watch this beautiful appreciation of my country. I think Drew got near to knowing the fiber of the Venezuelan reality. Next time he should go to the Amazon jungle on the border with Brazil, it's crazy.
Omg, ive been waiting so long to see this video that you have been planning for so long! My family is from Venezuela and I have unfortunately haven;t been back since I was 8 years old (I am 18 now) and all my family has had to emigrate. I can't wait to keep watching this video, and thank you so much for documenting the place I call my second home!
This video was AMAZING! My great-grandmother was from Venezuela and all that I know about Venezuela is what I see and hear on the news. I never really understood my identity, but this video makes me proud of my roots. Now, I know a bit more of where I descended from. Thank you ever so much. You are very brave and adventurous. Superb documentary!!! 👏 All the best in your future endeavours.
That place is so cool with people talking like folks in zamboanga and cagayan valley in the philippines. Had to go back to your past vids. Awesome stuff👍
I am Filipino-American and I love Latin America. Recently visited Ecuador for more than 2 weeks. I love your Venezuela episode. I love how authentic your video especially describing and communing with locals:) Please keep doing great videos. My dream to visit Salto Angel one day. Greetings from Seattle, Washington
I loved this series so much and this full length is awesome as well. Lived in Venezuela in 1998 and it’s amazing to see what has changes and what is still the same. I miss those beaches. ❤

Never thought I'd watch a 2 hour youtube video and yet here I am, completely enamored by this whole endeavor. Beautiful country. Resilient people. You're the goat Drew
Venezuela is a country I would love to visit as it has so many areas of outstanding natural beauty, but coming from England my own government advises against all but essential travel to there, it is sad hopefully one day it will be better so I can visit 🙏

I have been binge watching your vids all morning while working remotely.. I gotta tell you I didn't want this video to end it was so good.. Thank you. I feel as if I took this trip with you guys.. Amazing content.
Thank you for compiling your Venezuelan vids. Watched some of the individual episodes last and early this year. My dad originated from Maracay, Vnzl. I'm living in the Philippines, my mom's country, for several years now💜
Thank you, Drew. Like many others, I probably would never get the chance to visit these places in my lifetime. But thanks for sharing with us the next best thing. You didn't just publish a video; you shared beautiful stories about life in Venezuela.
Thank you drew for this video. I'm glad you were able to go there. I lived my childhood days in Venezuela. My father worked in the oil industry there. We loved that country so much. It 😢 me to see what has happened to that country. When we lived there Venezuela was doing very well.
I lived in Caracas for 3 years when my dad was stationed (army)there. I graduated from CIC a high school there. It was an awesome place to live. I’m retired now and living in the USA but I always remember the friendly people and the beaches. I also can drive anywhere because of the autopistas there 😂 Back then if you stopped at a red light when nobody else was around you would be honked at by the car behind you and they would drive around you 😂 A bolivar back then was like a quarter and it would cost 1 or 2 bolivars to take an air conditioned bus to the beach. I ate quenepas in Puerto Rico. Didn’t ever encounter them in Caracas. Love the arepas and hallacas, the black beans etc. best empanada I had was in Puerto Rico. Best beaches were in Caracas
Hey Drew, thanks for this video. Glad you met Gabo, which I had the chance to meet on a photography workshop a few years ago. Glad you enjoyed our country. I left almost six years ago and it is impressive how things have changed. I was lucky enough for my dad to take me to every single state when I was growing up. His saying goes as: better know your country first before abroad. I'm thankful for that. Hope you can go back and document further!
I wondered how your channel would go now that you've visited every single country on this planet. This concept was well put together and very insightful. Glad to know you'll be around still; well after you've achieved your life goal.
I also loved the visit to Colonia Tovar. It was high up in the mountains and the architecture was like what you see in Germany since it originated from a German Settlement
Thank you so much for this video as it was so educational and engaging. I have never watched a video for two hours. Your tour guide was awesome. Amazing to see how happy those folks are despite having so little. That beach was exceptional. Thanks for sharing.😎
Excellent video as always Drew. I have watched your videos now for over a year. This is a great journey through Venezuela. It's really awesome that you had Emmanuel to take you through the entire country and that you got to experience so much with the locals, that is what it is all about. It is crazy to think how people live there on $1 USD a month, especially considering many of the things you purchased were about 1-2 each. It seems like the vast majority of people in Venezuela are naturally born-entrepreneurs. When you purchased those glasses for $5 off that guy, that may have been his first sale the entire week. Thanks for sharing.
im from maracaibo, venezuela. i moved to the US in 2011. it is so infuriating what the government has done to destroy the economy. i hope one day things will get better.
I hope so too but I also fear it will only get exponentially worse from here as it has in other countries, unless something drastic changes. I hope I'm wrong.
Love her rap! I. I mean I loved seeing what is going on, and saw the loving, giving in her preparation of food. But to hear her rap...... I felt privileged!!! Awesome strength!!! 🙏💪💜
Thank you this. I have not been in Venezuela since the 70s. It was a very prosperous country in those days, I have lots of family there. I'd love to visit sometime - maybe when it is less complicated.
It was the 4th GPD per capita in the 60's. They were 4x richer than Japan. By the 90's they were still very rich, and it took 10 years for socialism to ruin it all.
As a 24 year old man in the USA thank you for the videos! A lot of Americans have no idea how amazing South America even is! These vlogs really open there eyes🙏🏻

America 🇺🇸 is going down fast
Yeah America is going down fast and the reason is most likely fiscally liberal policies. It’s nice to be socially liberal and give everyone freedom but with economics the left leaning countries besides Norway and Sweden the world economies sucks that are socialist and communist
Exactly.
WAHAHAHAHHA
Socialism is not a "natural state". It's a demonic disease created by evil cowards to control and leech people.
Congratulations you have been selected for my give Dm to claim your prizes 🎉.🎉🎉🎉🎉
Been there and I loved that country the Beauty is breath taking and people are amazing , may God bless Venezuela with prosperity .❤️✊🇮🇷
ehh you are over exaggerating about america. its not that bad, just depend on what state you live in. red states are booming and just doing fine.
@@DanRustle Was that comment meant to be for me?
Emmanuel was an absolutely amazing guide! An awesome friend to have in Venezuela :) this was an amazing documentary. I felt like I was there too
I'm in the US and had some neighbors from Venezuela once...they were the warmest people and the food mom made was delicious...I miss them a lot
This is beautiful, Drew Binsky. I hope things get easier for the Venezuelan people.
me tooo!
@@drewbinsky then why pay poor people with bolivars for there hard work?
As a Venezuelan it was amazing to watch this beautiful appreciation of my country. I think Drew got near to knowing the fiber of the Venezuelan reality. Next time he should go to the Amazon jungle on the border with Brazil, it's crazy.
Congratulations you have been selected for my give Dm to claim your prizes 🎉.
Congratulations you have been selected for my give Dm to claim your prizes 🎉.🎉🎉🎉🎉
Omg I'm in minut 2.34 and my cryinggggg! I know this is gonna be AWESOME! And realistic! Thank you drew from a Venezuelan girl living en California ❤️
always admire venezuela growing up in puerto rico watching the super stars on tv the most beautiful women are born there viva el caribe
That place is so cool with people talking like folks in zamboanga and cagayan valley in the philippines. Had to go back to your past vids. Awesome stuff👍
I've been watching a lot of your old videos and I honestly believe this is the best one I've seen of yours yet.
I left Venezuela in 1979 when 4.30 bolivares were $1 dollar and your video blew my mind. Thank you for showing the spirit of my country.
I loved this series so much and this full length is awesome as well. Lived in Venezuela in 1998 and it’s amazing to see what has changes and what is still the same. I miss those beaches. ❤
Congratulations you have been selected for my give Dm to claim your prizes
Recomentados.
Man! I really want to go to Venezuela one day. Looks like such a beautiful place to visit. I wish things can change for the better very quickly for the people, they deserve it.
Never thought I'd watch a 2 hour youtube video and yet here I am, completely enamored by this whole endeavor. Beautiful country. Resilient people. You're the goat Drew
Wow, Drew! Haven't watched it yet, but looking at the length, I respect you even more! Keep on the good work man!
Marathon video Drew, Truely enjoyed.
hope the country recovers from the economic collapse soon.
Venezuela is a country I would love to visit as it has so many areas of outstanding natural beauty, but coming from England my own government advises against all but essential travel to there, it is sad hopefully one day it will be better so I can visit 🙏
He was the best guide I seen so far..so knowledgeable about Venezuela..make you feel like you are there..I been hooked on this channel and subscribed because these are places and travel I always wanted to do..
So many beautiful places in Venezuela, so many seaside, lovely.
I have been binge watching your vids all morning while working remotely.. I gotta tell you I didn't want this video to end it was so good.. Thank you. I feel as if I took this trip with you guys.. Amazing content.
Gold content Drew! This is on my to-do for next year! 🇻🇪
Congratulations you have been selected for my give Dm to claim your prizes 🎉.🎉🎉🎉🎉
Most beautiful people in the world, Venezuelans. Love from the Philippines.
I think not having money by itself makes kind.
Such a beautiful people, such a beautiful country and such a beautiful lifestyle ❤️ 🏆🙌👍👏
I also can drive anywhere because of the autopistas there 😂
Back then if you stopped at a red light when nobody else was around you would be honked at by the car behind you and they would drive around you 😂
A bolivar back then was like a quarter and it would cost 1 or 2 bolivars to take an air conditioned bus to the beach.
I ate quenepas in Puerto Rico. Didn’t ever encounter them in Caracas. Love the arepas and hallacas, the black beans etc.
best empanada I had was in Puerto Rico.
Best beaches were in Caracas
One thing, my man, as venezuelan I gonna tell you the best beach are in FalconXD
Congratulations you have been selected for my give Dm to claim your prizes 🎉.
I couldn't see anyone better doing these documentary's better you are amazing the way you connect with people and places..
I also loved the visit to Colonia Tovar. It was high up in the mountains and the architecture was like what you see in Germany since it originated from a German Settlement
I've been there ,to the German town, it was a tourist attraction back then.
May God help the poor people of Venezuela. The girl's smile in 53:52 was precious. Greetings from Israel.
Thank you so much for this video as it was so educational and engaging. I have never watched a video for two hours. Your tour guide was awesome. Amazing to see how happy those folks are despite having so little. That beach was exceptional. Thanks for sharing.😎
Thank you!!
Drew i have followed you for years...THANK YOU FOR TRAVEL AND SHOW MY COUNTRY VENEZUELA !
This has been fantastic.
I'm not even halfway into the video & it's already been the best I've ever seen about Venezuela.
im from maracaibo, venezuela. i moved to the US in 2011. it is so infuriating what the government has done to destroy the economy. i hope one day things will get better.
I hope so too but I also fear it will only get exponentially worse from here as it has in other countries, unless something drastic changes. I hope I'm wrong.
The 1 percent rich elite narcotraffickers destroyed Venezuela to the ground.
Love her rap! I. I mean I loved seeing what is going on, and saw the loving, giving in her preparation of food. But to hear her rap...... I felt privileged!!! Awesome strength!!! 🙏💪💜
Venezuela is Love, Venezuela is Life
Absolutely Chamo!
Just found out that Belgian citizens don't need a visa for Venezuela, I guess we are lucky !
Maybe one of our next holiday destinations
As a 24 year old man in the USA thank you for the videos! A lot of Americans have no idea how amazing South America even is! These vlogs really open there eyes🙏🏻
Wow you just hit the root of happiness, health, shelter , and food, and friends that care, also family, and contentment, The rest is not important.
Except a LOT of people don’t have even that
that was awesome...thank you, Drew. the must completly video about venezuelan crisis, our beautiful people and our beautiful beaches. thank you so much. you are an amazing youtuber. my respect for you
I'm going to Venezuela for a month in Feb or March 2023. I'm an American citizen so I need a tourist visa and I finally found a Venezuelan contact that can help me out.
Going to spend the months before in Colombia, Ecuador, then Brazil for Carnival in February with my brother. Then I'm flying back to Panama City and flying into Caracas from there.
How did it go
Hello from Naples, Florida. Wow, can't believe what you went through for a visa. We enjoyed watching. Thank you so much for sharing this part of the world with us. 💯
Congratulations you have been selected for my give Dm to claim your prizes 🎉.🎉🎉🎉🎉
Drew is a brave man.
Exploring Venezuela needs courage. Keep going bro. 👍🏻👍🏻
Sooo true
Este es el más completo reportaje que e visto en mi vidad y e visto muchos y viajado mucho , the best report I have ever seen👏👏👏👏
Drew, loved this type of video! Keep it up and keep making documentaries!!
Excellent documentary! He goes to show you that people want the same thing all over the world! And it is government's and corrupt politicians that are the problem not the people. Good work!
I've been to a lot of challenging places, and I really wanted to visit Venezuela this winter, but I just couldn't get the courage to do it alone without any connections.
Yeah you really need to have a local to keep you safe and show you the best part of the country. I'd love to visit too but considering it's so hard to get a visa and the state of the country getting worse everyday, I don't think it's worth going
All this is starting just 70km from the island i live. And almost imposible to go there. Im blessed to know a lot of venezulan people that live here and in venezuela. That are always friendly and hardworking. I hope to visit next year this beautiful but peligroso country.
Shortest 2 hrs of my life. Thanks so much for sharing your adventure.
