I have been avoiding sleepovers ever since I came out has pan. The only sleepover I’ve been to is with my lesbian crush. We have crushes on each other but we’re not old enough to date
This whole "not old enough to date" thing is ridiculous. Like there is minimum age for for falling in love or having a relationship. There is a lot of US-parenting I find ridiculous though.

I feel like this is what a straight person thinks it's like to be gay at a sleepover. I spent most of my time at sleepovers trying to avoid anything that might make it look like I was hitting on, or attracted to or interested in any of my friends because I thought they would hate me if they found out that I had these weird feelings that it didn't seem like any of them had.

MnMaggii Well this was totally me as a (unbeknownst to me at the time) gay girl in jr. high. Always coming up with games where we had to kiss or touch each others bodies or take our clothes off. Then again my friends usually played along. Then again, looking back on that group of girls a lot of us turned out to be gay or bisexual!
MnMaggii I hope now you are somewhere surrounded by good people who will accept you and not hate you for something you can never be blamed for. And finally have a sleepover with great friends that you can actually enjoy!!

I'm not gay, but I'd imagine the sketches Grant and Ally have written could help a young gay person feel more comfortable with themselves/ or at the very least laugh out loud. I love all the writers at CH but Ally is probably my favorite.
@@ebbyoma7008 They aren't saying she is weird, but it is weird to them because they are straight to be doing those games. You can't just force the other three to do those things. I mean as a straight male I'd find it weird if my best friend (who's gay) would be doing the same thing because he knows I'm not gay.
I do too. Not because I'm gay, but because when I was a kid, my friends and I would have so much fun together without girls (no sexism intended) without considering getting judged by the opposite gender. We can goof around and enjoy ourselves pretty much carelessly. On the other hand, whevener we play with girls, all of my friends would put up a "cool" act, and do awkward things appealing to the girls when I could clearly see that they are all feeling really uneasy.

This video came out when I was 14 and really struggling with sexuality and I’ve probably watched it 300 times. Thank you Ally Beardsley for making me feel queer solidarity in all the times I have felt very very alone🥹💕
Heck yeah. It's way more fun this way. The whole point of the game is to feel uncomfortable so this is the definitive way to play it. (Before you ask. I'm aro ace. I still prefer to play spin the bottle unrestricted)
Bi and pan are actually the same. The only real difference is that the pans have a smug holier than thou attitude and want everyone to think they are better for being the same.
Literally everytime my classmates play spin the bottle they say "But if its same-sex then you just have to kiss their cheek :)" and its like, first of all, that takes out half of the risk factor for straight people so where's the fun in that?? And second of all, THESE BITCHES KNOW I'M GAY. C'MON, MAN!
Isabella Smol I only like this game if there is a chance to get a kiss from my love or it is not talking seriously (if it is really just a game). I discovered that I'm pan, because normally I felt in love with my friends and only if I know them pretty good. I never felt in love with a person I just met :/ A couple of days ago I said one of my best girlfriends that I felt in love with her (I'm stell in love with her but...) but additional I knew... she was totally hetero... I knew that but she is so a wonderful person, brave and kind... so I want to say it to her before my feelings cost our friendship... it still hurts a lot but I'm happy that I can talk about it with her now.
Isabella Smol I never knew what other people did if the bottle pointed towards someone of the same sex. In my group of friends, we played spin the bottle once and people of the same sex kissed. The only people who didn't kiss each other were siblings, exes, or enemies. My friend's boyfriend and her ex-boyfriend wound up kissing, though 😄.
I AM NOT GOOD AT DANCING Well if the bottle landed on a guy, yeah. I wouldn't wanna bend the rules just because I might kiss a guy, its part of the game, you'll either get someone you were hoping to kiss, or someone you were hoping not to kiss. It makes it a lot more risky and therefore exciting if there's like a 50/50 chance you'll get someone you'd wanna kiss (the group that plays is normally about half boys and half girls). There's like 2 people in my class that my classmates would complain about kissing during their usual games, so usually they just get the people they want, and it takes all of the fun out of it in my opinion.
I remember playing truth or dare at a sleepover. My friend had her next question set up in her head as "which one of us would you kiss if you had to?" for when the next person she asked said truth. hilariously I was the next person who said truth when she asked. She goes "I swear on my life I was going to ask anyone this, it's not because your bi." and got all scared that I'd be offended. I'm pretty chill, so I answered the question. This girl had to be the hottest of our group and the most experienced kisser, so I did answer that I'd kiss her. She took it as a sign that she was doing something right I guess and we moved on. She said something later that I pretended to be insulted by, and I jokingly said that I changed my answer on who in the friend group I'd kiss. She got upset and stomped into the closet, leaving the rest of us in a laughing mess. I called out "Do you wanna come out of the closet, sweeetie?" and she yells "Not for you!" Her ego's not that fragile, so we knew she was just messing around. It was funny though.
“I won’t be happy till I’m 22.” is so rough. I literally could not comprehend living past 18 until I came out and found the best people I’ve ever met and moved out. Now, at 19 I sometimes spontaneously cry at how happy my life now makes me. I wish I could have told my 14 year old self this.
bee.syrup I think gay guys only have beards... because guys grow beards, and it is supposed to be "hiding your [face] from others". Your face = your identity

But this isn’t canon to the universe, Grant is bisexual
Audio Cuts For Dance maybe he didn't figure out he was bi until he was older, maybe when he was fourteen his anxiety about girls was stronger than his ate attraction to them
Everybody has different names in here, he's gay in here
He wanted to kiss a guy, what about that suggests he is not bi?
@@samlynx2016 he wanted to stay in with the guys as I recall
@@מעין-צ9ג I thought that was because he knew the other guys would only flirt with the girls and would ignore him.

I'm not gay, but I'd imagine the sketches Grant and Ally have written could help a young gay person feel more comfortable with themselves/ or at the very least laugh out loud. I love all the writers at CH but Ally is probably my favorite.
I'm that one at a sleep over trying my hardest not to look or seem gay
Phillip Hamilton I'm that one person at a sleep over purposely making it seem like I'm gay to make people uncomfortable even though I'm not.

@@ebbyoma7008 They aren't saying she is weird, but it is weird to them because they are straight to be doing those games. You can't just force the other three to do those things. I mean as a straight male I'd find it weird if my best friend (who's gay) would be doing the same thing because he knows I'm not gay.
I relate to Ally and Grant on a spiritual level.

The way I found out I was gay was when I was playing spin the bottle, because it was all gender you had to kiss who it landed on no matter what.
respect to the horse drawn carriage a very gangster olde timey object
Heck yeah. It's way more fun this way. The whole point of the game is to feel uncomfortable so this is the definitive way to play it. (Before you ask. I'm aro ace. I still prefer to play spin the bottle unrestricted)
I HATE THAT I RELATE TO THIS SO GODDAMN MUCH
*shock* Bad Girl
best part
What about 'Sleepovers where everyone else is gay'
Maddor all my friends are bi or pan and one is trans except one straight girl
the best kind of sleepover
Bi and pan are actually the same. The only real difference is that the pans have a smug holier than thou attitude and want everyone to think they are better for being the same.
GeorgeMonet I'm pretty sure it's different being pan would make you include gender fluid, non-binary or things like that
Grace Silverstein Eh.. doesn't pan mean strictly being attracted to certain personality traits of someone..?
2:11 I love it when she just blurts out, “Bad girl” impulsively. 😂

C'MON, MAN!
Isabella Smol
I only like this game if there is a chance to get a kiss from my love or it is not talking seriously (if it is really just a game). I discovered that I'm pan, because normally I felt in love with my friends and only if I know them pretty good. I never felt in love with a person I just met :/
A couple of days ago I said one of my best girlfriends that I felt in love with her (I'm stell in love with her but...) but additional I knew... she was totally hetero... I knew that but she is so a wonderful person, brave and kind... so I want to say it to her before my feelings cost our friendship... it still hurts a lot but I'm happy that I can talk about it with her now.
Isabella Smol tbh I never got that like - kissing someone just cause u were dared to MEANS nothing so why does the gender matter
Isabella Smol I mean would you kiss a guy?
I AM NOT GOOD AT DANCING Well if the bottle landed on a guy, yeah. I wouldn't wanna bend the rules just because I might kiss a guy, its part of the game, you'll either get someone you were hoping to kiss, or someone you were hoping not to kiss. It makes it a lot more risky and therefore exciting if there's like a 50/50 chance you'll get someone you'd wanna kiss (the group that plays is normally about half boys and half girls). There's like 2 people in my class that my classmates would complain about kissing during their usual games, so usually they just get the people they want, and it takes all of the fun out of it in my opinion.
i actually came out to my friends during a sleepover, it was terrifying but it went well
How did they react at first? Just curious
"i wont be happy till im 22" amazing
I'm gay and this is 113% accurate.
13%? clearly, this is the devil's work.
Wait, so if straight teenagers wanna kiss each other that is cool. But if gay people wanna do it it's rapey?
The Snarky Lesbian i say go for it.
I would like to point out that they are made to play a "game" in which you HAVE to kiss someone of the opposite sex, whether you want to or not!
I hate how much this relates to me, the truth hurts
omg that eye roll at 1:22, i felt that in my soul
Damnit stop teasing that Zac / Grant kiss that you never show us
Can’t relate to this cause I️ don’t have any friends lol
I dont lije being caled out like that
you know the forever alone guy ... thats me ;-;
K Nogne can relate to this
Why is this so relatable
😢
I will now use "Shhhhhiit... ake mushrooms" in every day conversation.
This isn't a new idea.
Sequel where in-the-closet ally and grant pretend to date.... girls who have had "beards" will understand
bee.syrup oh my god yes they definitely need to do that
leah6000lk you are genius
bee.syrup I think gay guys only have beards... because guys grow beards, and it is supposed to be "hiding your [face] from others". Your face = your identity
Trey Atkins Then the gay girls have... skirts?
Alex Fülle no they have beards too.
are you telling me the lesbian sleepover porn i watch is a lies???
Namida almost exclusively
Namida
Yes. Your whole life is a lie.
