I’ve never worn or sewn these ‘ jumpsuits’ but you may have sold me on this one. I might just have to give it a try. The white tee shirt under looked great too. Very versatile and something that can be worn for awhile. You look so summery, the northern people will be longing for that nice weather!

Lovely versions Kirsten. When I saw the initial line drawings for this I thought, oh no that’s not for me……… then I watched Kate’s vlog on Sunday and it was omg it’s gorgeous. That black crepe with the chain straps, I was totally sold!!! I’ve bought the pattern and I’ve order some patterned black crepe. I’m going to make the 3/4 as I think I’ll get more wear out of that. Can’t wait to have a go. I might even make a playsuit 😂. At the grand old age of 61!!!! 😂🇬🇧❤️
I am loving this pattern. Wasn’t sure when it came up on my feed until I watched Kates release. And now seeing it on you I am even more sold. Gorgeous fabrics, great pattern, and you look beautiful.
The white tee gives it a great casual look and I love the waist ties giving shape. I made a dress last year with tie straps in a jersey and it was quite tricky to tie them once on to get a tight fit without them dropping off my shoulders, but maybe in a woven it wouldn't be an issue.
I am in the same boat as didn’t like the drawings at first. But I love the red one on you. I am so on both patterns now. But I would suggest adjusting the area near the bust on the side where the wide straps join to make it fit perfectly. Not a criticism. It would be my problem too, Thankyou Kristen for this.
