ONE spin-off of the Indian pilots getting trained in the USSR for their MiG's - they had to learn Russian. So when the Indo-Pak war came on in '71, the IAF knew that their chatter might be picked up/intercepted by the Pakistani's and therefore, they started talking in Russian confusing the Pakistani's to no end. The same thing happened with the Indian Navy when they were operating the Soviet made Missile boats - the attack on the Karachi harbour, the Indian Naval shipmen spoke in Russian, the comms being intercepted by the PAK patrol boats, but they couldn't make a head or tail of what was being spoken. They ended up blasting the Karachi harbour to smithereens.

@@muhammadkhurshidahmed2054 Khatte Angoor!! 😋 Bhutto divided Pakistan with his myopic policy and axed his own foot.
We just took advantage and nailed his mistakes to his coffin and broke up your country. BTW - after the Karachi harbour incident and sinking of the PNS Ghazi, Pakistani Navy had it's back broken and could do nothing else in the war. Incompetent they were.
As for Abhinandan, had your country not sent him back, your country and its cities would have been in ruins. Ask your Chief of Staff was sweating in his pants and PM Imran Khan never even came to that meeting 😂😂 He was so scared. The US also told to release him and they would do nothing if India retaliated. Bechara Pakistan had no option but to obey.

Not really. India had started encroaching into East Pakistan territory long before that. I can recall reading of commando ops in Chittagong and Khulna sector as early as mid-September, 1971. Indian army and BSF personnel were attached with Mukti infiltrators as early as May 1971, to organise the rebels and coordinate rebel sabotage and ambush ops against Pakistani forces.
Also, India launched massive offensive action in Khulna-Jessore sector around 20th November. This is when the Battle of Garibpur happened.

Yes. In these videos he appears to be. But he referred to the Afghan freedom fighters of the Afghan-Soviet war of the 1980s as "rebels." I corrected him on that issue stating that they were not "rebels" but people fighting for their culture, religion and way of life. I fought in that Jihad as a young man. They were freedom fighters. He then replied (something to the effect) that some would "disagree with me." I suppose if someone invades your homeland and you resist, you are automatically a "rebel" since you are not accepting of the aggressor's enslavement. Well, the defeat of the arrogant Americans once again proved that God was on their side. Apparently, political correctness is a major concern on RUclips. I have no idea as to why he made that statement as I expected him to be quite familiar with the Afghan-Soviet war.

FL version was not having internal canon..so Gun pack was used in ventral line. But the problem was if you fit gun pack, then you have to rely only on internal fuel. Internal fuel capacity was 2350ltr or something, which was not at all sufficient if you had to engage in a dog-fight.

    Dear Showtime,
Great video and re-enactment as always. However, would just like to clarify some facts.
PAF F-6s at that time were quite short legged and operated out of three operational airbases i.e. Sargodha, Risalewala and Mianwali all which were based in North Punjab. They were mainly used for Air Defence and Close Support in those sectors which were close to their air bases
In the south, PAF had only one operational base that was Masroor in Karachi. It housed F-86Fs, F-86Es and B-57s. F-104s were later shifted to Masroor between 5-6 December 1971. They were further strengthened by the RJAF F-104s.
All available literature and interviews with war veterans confirms that F-6 (MiG-19S) were never deployed to Masroor. Even if we believe what the Indian claim is true, the F-6 didn't had the range to carry out CAP, CAS or close support missions in this sector. All such missions were carried out by Sabres and Starfighters.
However a Pakistan Army Aviation L-19 Bird Dog pilot has recalled an incident where an Indian MiG-21FL attacked his aircraft in this sector, which confirms that the Indian MiG did engaged an enemy aircraft.
Rest I leave it to your judgement, as you have done a great job till now.

Please make a video on the legendary ace pilot of PAF. His name was Squadron Leader M.M. Alam who shot down 5 hunter jets within three minutes.

He fought against Hunters which we sadly, do not have in DCS. Maybe if one gets developed someday.

There is no evidence of shooting down of 5 jets by MM Alam. It is as bogus a claim as saying Soviet Union is hibernating.

@@DonzaiNoHana Oh, yes. Obviously, our Indian friends tried their level best to belie every claim of Pakistan. They did their best to prove that MiG21 of Abhinandan shot down F-16. But nobody accepts this claim in the world. This entire claim of shooting down of these planes was witnessed by one of the colleagues of M.M.Alam who was flying in F-104 star fighter watching history in the making.

@@naherf385 Thank god we forced you for public surrender in 1971, otherwise with the kind of liars you chaps are, no wonder you'd have said 'No surrender happened'.
As for 5 jets claim, read YOUR OWN PILOT Sajjad Haider's book. He debunks this myth as there weren't even 5 Hunters around.😂

@@DonzaiNoHana Yes, we did surrender. That was a tragedy we still have not forgotten. A time will come when we will avenge our humiliation. When it will come, we really don't know. Maybe, not even in our lifetime. But my question to you. Did you make us surrender because you were braver than us, or we were cowards.
