Why do people get so upset and offended when someone doesn't like their favorite perfume? Something I will never understand... Our brains just happen to interpret scent differently, and the science behind all of that is very interesting. We also change our tastes constantly based on mood, environment, etc. AND perfume should be personal and fun anyway. It's really not that serious. 🙃
First you have to look at what people like and don't like becuase many of those things are based upon a judegment, a concept, or a belief, about themselves an others..and this holds true for more then just fragrance choices,

I love Wood Sage & Sea Salt. It has a refreshing spa-like feel to me. But it’s ok if others don’t like it. In fact I get a good chuckle when people describe something that smells bad to them. I love your descriptions and sense of humor. Hope you do more like this! ❤

I loved the extrait when I had a Sample set, it was gorgeous. I purchased the stunning red bottle, I sprayed it and it blew out in full oud😭, nothing like my sample.I now put on the oil after I spray. Keep your receipt , just in case. May have been the batch 😭🤷🏻♀️
I appreciate this video and totally agree on testing on skin. Some fragrances smell really different on skin vs paper. For example, I originally didn’t like Narciso Rodrigues scents when I tried them on paper. But then I returned to try them on my skin and they are now among my favorite “everyday” scents. I’m glad I gave them another chance!
It's ok Veronica...I took some of the stress of your hands because I bought Cappadocia from Joma for that same steal of a deal and thought about you when I did it!!!!🤣 😭😂 Totally agree with you on O'feminin. It smelled really vintagey and I just couldn't. 🚫I bought Queen of Silk in the 30 ml bottle and it will still take me forever to use it because 2 sprays is ALL you need with that one! Now that's a beast-mode fragrance for sure! 💟

I can't understand why people get so upset when someone doesn't like a perfume they like. Scent is so subjective and so many factors come into play - our personal preferences, skin PH, even body temperature. Love your videos - keep'em comin'!
I enjoy this type of video. I live in the sticks, so I can’t just pop in to a shop and sniff niche fragrances. There are SO many videos showing what is really good but it’s also beneficial to a beginner like me to see another point of view and maybe narrow some choices down. Plus, if we all smell the same there’s no need for fragrances, right?? That would be reallyyyyy sad.

Great video, Veronica! Looking forward to part 2. Mojave Ghost was one I sampled a few years ago; i just didn't get it! It was so unremarkable for me I don't even remember what it was like. I have the Oil Perfumery version of Italica; it's currently sitting in my purgatory box!
Mojave Ghost was a slow burn for me tbh. Byredo in general has been an acquired taste bc they don't scream and I'm THAT kind of girl. But what I have really come to love about Mojave Ghost is the violet in it. I also have Penhaligon's The Favourite, which is a violet dominant fragrance that is a gdamn joy to wear just for me, at home while working (neither really project). And I was able to 'find' the violet note in Mojave Ghost and its just so good. It's a 'just for me' type of scent but I'd never reach for it to go anywhere bc it just whispers and I like that loud pack frag experience when I go outside. Another Byredo that took some time to appreciate is Young Rose. It's a super green fresh rose that I will use to start my day of rose layering, then escalate to stronger and jammier rose dominant scents as the day goes on. With 300+ fragrances, I enjoy wearing multiple a day and layering is super fun for me.
I'm glad Mojave Ghost is a win for you. I can sense something in the purple floral direction in it, too. Young Rose is delightful! Very easy going perfume. 🥰🥰🥰
I love this kind of video! I have a full bottle of Italica and I love it! It smells like vanilla icecream to my nose. But it is very strong and I need to be very careful not to overspray as it can be headache city. Your Queen of Silk review was so funny! I have a sample of this and I agree it is very strong. In my opinion it is more unisex and perhaps leaning towards masculine a little. It smells luxurious for sure but a bit too bold for me also.
I love this idea for a video. We all so often succumb to the hype of a fragrance without factoring how despite this craze, may not work for oneself. I will say that I do personally enjoy and own many that didn’t work for you. I did test out recently Queen of silk and yes, out the gate with a bang but the dry down is beautiful. However, the wear is the factor; where, when, how often, etc. I found a good dupe, perhaps a little more animatic in the opening but so close. Amelie perfumery; a house under preproduction perfumery, that as the name implies, reproduces fragrances. They’re so good and have several originals I enjoy. I always find this the best way to get the scent profile without the investment. You look absolutely stunning. That makeup is makeuping! Love these colors but also really loved the pick look you had in your last video. ❤
This was such fun, Veronica, please keep doing it! Interesting how we all smell fragrances differently, like when I first sampled Mojave Ghost I didn't like it at all either - to me it smelled like some weird desert plant (images of cactus and agave came to mind, lol).. Then at a dinner the woman sitting next to me smelled so great I asked her what she was wearing, and she said Mojave Ghost! So that's a fragrance I can't wear myself but love to smell on other people! Also had a bad visceral reaction to Creed's Queen of Silk and Carmina... love the bottles but would never be able to wear the juice. But for me and my bank account, that's perfectly fine! 😆

Mojave Ghost: beautiful pink champagne, mixed with exotic flower, muskiness, really smells like a chic boutique store in a unique part of town. I am so in love with it because it's suitable for work, going out, traveling... anytime, really. My ONLY complaint is that it doesn't seem to last longer than 4 hours, or my nose is just used to it. I just carry it with me and reapply. Bal Dafryque lasts a lot longer.

I clutched my pearls when you brought up Mojave Ghost 😂 To me it smells both juicy and fresh, but without being synthetically sweet or powdery. Great vid tho!
I have kind of a difficult skin chemistry as a lot of things I don’t really love on my skin. But Mohave Ghost Nell’s absolutely incredible on my skin. I get the dusty thing when I smell it on paper but on my skin I get a lot of magnolia and a touch of violet. I went to the eye doctor wearing one spray of this and I got complimented by 4 people before I left, including the doctor!
finally somebody gets me... I blind bought "I don't know what" and was seriously pissed off.... lololol....... I don't even know if I can sell this cause its a no for me. lolol... that is what I get for trying to get a cheaper Another 13 lol. Oud orange is not an appealing fragrance but when it comes off of you it is compliment getting. I would get chocked out with this one but i sprayed it on the back of my clothes were it wouldn't catch me but catch the people I walk past and it has worked wonders lol. Just throw the Wood Sage & Sea Salt in the trash lolol... it doesn't smell good on me or on the people I smell it on.. I honestly think there is a batch Italica issue because the samples can smell different. Also I hate the floral smell ... I don't like mixing that with cookies lolol... i was like what is going on but in the store I didn't smell that so its confusing... BYREDO IS A TERRIBLE BRAND TO ME Lol.... hard period ... I blind bough 5 of them and sold them all lol... Descriptive words for Byredo. FUNK.. LOL..

Not bored at all! I love diversity! You know, I sometimes feel alone for hating 100 silent ways or all these popular Middle Eastern fragrances everyone reaves about! Nebras, Ajayeb, Bade’e Al Oud Honor and Glory for instance… Wood Sage and Sea Salt was a huge love two years ago but now it’s just a like. i’m glad I picked up a 30ml instead of the big bottle.

Hi, Veronica! I am on the fourth day of wearing Chloe Nomadę and loving it. I recently started writing notes about my fragrance experiences. Day one was “sparkly, fruity, fresh, nice for day, not sexy.” At another wearing, I really thought I smelled nectarine. Then later I thought the dry down became more sexy and the sparkle remained. Then later, overall a fruity floral. Today it got much warmer in the dry down. I don’t recommend wearing it through two exercise classes-got a little sour, oops, the nectarine didn’t do well with the heat 😅. It’s fascinating how people have such different reactions. Sparkly is definitely different than dusty!
This was so fun! I tried predicting the updated rating throughout -sometimes hoping it stayed the same so I wouldn’t be tempted to re-try some (👀 looking at you Italica). Thanks for the video!

Hey Veronica! I always enjoy watching your videos! This one was very interesting. The only one on this video that I own is Jo Malone’s Wood Sage & Sea Salt. I must say it was like a love at first sniff for me. I’m very new to fragrances, and this is my first and only Jo Malone in my collection. The only thing I dislike is the longevity!! I wish it lasted longer!!! Hey it’s a fun video. People must understand that we are not all the same and don’t have the same likes and dislikes. That’s what makes us different and individuals! People who get offended by something like this really need to open their minds!!
Love wood sage and sea salt ❤❤❤ , lake & skye 11 11 gives me a bit of headache . Thought of trying "I don't know what" , but I changed my mind because I don't want redundancy in my collection. Mojave ghost is one of my faves, and here's the reason why. Sapodilla, also known as Naseberry, is a fruit I loved while living in Jamaica, so it brings back those memories for me when I wear it😊.

Hello Veronica! This is really a fun video. We’ve all been there right? It took me 8-9 months of several 2nd chances to decide that I didn’t hate Guidance the way I did on first sniff. i was so frustrated because I could not learn to un-hate it, in fact I really wanted to love it. I finally dared to wear it one night at work and all I ever got were compliments despite my discomfort and uneasiness. Wore it again and got more compliments and had to admit, I started getting whiffs of it from time to time and started appreciating it. Before I knew it, I moved to Team Guidance. 😄. From time to time, I still smell something in it that bothers me, but it didn’t bother me that much anymore. Now, it’s big like! I’m so glad I didn’t give up on it. 💜💜💜
I do love revisiting fragrances I didn’t like. Sometimes it affirms my good taste and sometimes I am surprised by how much better it can smell to me. Some fragrances really need to macerate a bit. Thank you ❤ This was fun

Such a great video - nice idea Veronica 👍🏼 So strange that I got the same rush back to the 80’s when I smelled O Feminin! I stood there a long time contemplating what it reminded me off. I wondered if it might be a strawberry shortcake toy - she had a friend called Orange Blossom… In any case, O Feminin was not for me - think it’s the petitgrain. Mojave Ghost - I have poured out my pocketbooks to sampling sites such as scent split and scents gift as well! - I first got a 2 ml and went through it. So I got an 8ml from scents gift. It is still not full bottle worthy to me. However, I am intrigued due to its dry nature. I lived in the desert of southern New Mexico for 3 yrs, and something about it does remind me of the desert. Gypsy Water is still the winner from byredo for me. Thanks for this video - I think it actually saved me some money😀

OK girl I'm back- you had me upstairs looking through all of my Scentbird decants, (which are all unlabelled by the way) 😅 until I found "I don't know what", because I thought I remembered it being something like Molecule 04, sort of the synthetic sandalwood smell. So to me, It has a little tiny bit more citrus and it's not as good as Molecule 04, it does have that tiny hint of plastic to it. I actually think I kind of like it though! 😬🙈🤣
Those unlabeled scents drive me crazy! Grrr! I've tried Molecule 04 - not bad. I would wear it over I Don't Know What. Something in the latter just messes with my nose! 😩
Hello Veronica. Funny i just tested mojave ghost lastnight and its okay. I can see why its used at hotels because is very non offensive and soft enough to be unisex because it gives your skin freshly washed. However, for menits not woth the price tag. Lol
I so agree with you about I don’t know what. It’s very harsh and dry, like a smoked pencil tip, as you had said. I really don’t register it as a your skin but better perfume. Straight up woody. Should be called I don’t know WHO is sharpening pencils but enough. I still gotta get my nose on O Feminin. I like Jo Malone Orange Blossom, I hope it might be a bit similar to that? But the petitgrain could skew it more soapy. Hmm.

Kinda smelled like chemicals & the smell of an old vinyl record after playing, that warm static smell??? I should try what it's intended for which is a base for other frags to last longer. Italica, something about the almond. Wood sage & sea salt.. What does everyone who loves it smell? I was not getting it. I had an intuition I wouldn't like O' Feminine & that it would smell like an old (1990's?) fragrance memory to me and I think I'm right. I have a bunch of samples to go through and Mojave Ghost is one I want to test. I love these videos and your humor and could never be offended by something so ridiculous as a different opinion about what fragrance we each like or don't like!!!😏🙄😂Keep em comin & I'll be watchin!😘

oud orange intense is great in cold weather, I only wear it when its really cold out. its sweet on me with wood like notes. lol in summer though NO WAY. Love your videos!

I also received a decant of Italica recently in a swap and I haven’t tried it yet cos these past few weeks have been rather hot🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. I also sampled Queen Of Silk, love the opening but man there’s something in the dry down really annoys me😩😩. I did like Mojave Ghost as a casual fragrance, I received a travel spray from the Skins box🤩🤩. Stay gorgeous 🥰🥰
No.....not my beloved Italica. I am excited to take this out again when the weather cools. I was at Perfume House the other day and a guy came in asking if they had Queen of Silk. His wife has it and he says it is "stunning, 10/10". They don't carry that fragrance and now I am curious. I usually don't like Creed. Maybe it's the high price tag in the back of my mind keeping me from liking the house. I'll test it next time I'm at Nordstrom.
I absolutely love dua's version of italica called Italiano! I never tried italica so I don't know if it's close or not, but I don't even care. I love Italiano for what it is.
Hi! I used to own the Dua version and it's overall more enjoyable and consistent in scent than the original. The opening of the original is unmatched though.
Italica doesn't work for me either! It smells great for 5 minutes then falls apart into something my nose can't even make sense of. Nice to know it's not just me! Looking forward to the next one like this--

Queen of Silk reminds me of THoO BonBon Pop, but the sophisticated version! 🤔Osmanthus in it reads to me as peach ( + patchouli + vanilla compared to peach, patchouli and caramel in BonBon Pop). I seem to be alone in this 😄 I would love to add it to my collection for formal situations 😊 first Creed that I like
LMAO Veronica chose violence today 😂 All our noses are different, but I will say that I saw @michyscents the other day on a video trying samples but only on blotter and she HATED Ghost in the Shell, I didn't take offense because I don't even take myself seriously, but my experience with that same fragrance was that it smells like a completely different thing on skin and I was like in instant love when I smelled on my skin, so I suggested that to her, but apart from that, there are SO MANY perfumes, it would be so boring if we all liked them all. I don't think I've used I Don't Know What by itself ever, to me it is like the Molecule 1,2, etc. fragrances...as a fragrance longevity enhancer also, they have one called Crystal Pistil and same. I gave my Mohave Ghost to Sara my daughter for her hospital perfumes 😭

I am never offended when someone doesn’t like what I like, and I am glad we don’t always like the same fragrances or they would be harder to get, and probably more expensive! Variety makes the world go ‘round. 😌
Queen of silk is such a heavy hitter! I own it and I am an over sprayer and with this one I only do 3 or 4 sprays and I smell myself for 8-10 hours… it’s potent at first but within 15 minutes it’s so gorgeous on my skin… I get compliments….. as long as I dont over spray😂
This was so fun! Can't wait for more of these videos! I have DEFINITELY changed my mind on some fragrances (I can only think of one at the moment - Pas ce Soir). I am one of the ones that absolutely LOVES I Don't Know What. I can get how you wouldn't think it's great, though. I am one of the weird ones that loves molecular/mineral type scents, so it's right up my alley 😂. Same thing with Wood Sage & Sea Salt. But I only have one of the deluxe minis of that, and I don't wear it often.
Everyone's skin chem and indeed nose /perception is different. I must re-try Mojave Ghost, as it was chilly and violet to me, like Apollonia but way less strong x
Mojave Ghost is my all time favorite scent profile. It's amazing but unfortunately it doesn't perform very well. It's a shower gel/shampooey type fragrance. I love it! Guess 1981 for women is an inexpensive dupe for it. I am excited for the absolu version but I'm gonna get a travel size because those Byredo prices are crazy.
I like this type of video! There are many fragrances that I haven’t liked at first and then either they grow on me or after sitting for a while, the different accords start to play nicely with each other. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Sparkling Jo. I know you didn’t like it at first. I didn’t either but after my sample sat for a couple of months, I loved it. I now have a full bottle. It’s one of my favorites. Dear Polly is another one that I kind of liked but I felt like all of the scents weren’t gelling together. My sample sat in my drawer for months. I just tried it again this morning, and now I really like it. 😂got a free sample of Queen of Silk a while back. I don’t know about her. She’s going to have to sit in time out for a while. I’m not sure how I feel about her bully energy 😆
I have only tried 2 on this list: Italica - Xerjoff was a quick no for me and Queen of Silk was a purchase. I have a few of the older Creed fragrances so Queen of Silk is definitely something more updated for my collection! But for those of us who appreciate fragrance, great video idea!!
I had a similar reaction with Italica, I blind bought a bottle and had to let it go. From amazement to washing it off my arm. It reminds me more of baking bread but in the harsh smell of a fumey oven, & I guess, I don't get along with the Amber Xerjoff are using, it's too dense for my taste. For a true gourmand cookie experience, BBW Christmas Cookies & Sugared Snickerdoodle or Cheriosa 71, but all of these options have loads of sugar on top.
I was really excited to try Mojave Ghost after hearing so many rave reviews, but I was so disappointed. It has a powdery scent that just doesn't work for me. Oud Orange Intense is another one that’s a definite NO for me. On the flip side, I absolutely love Italica-it’s high on my wishlist. I've only tried a tiny sample on a blotter, so I definitely need to test it on my skin before I make the purchase. I really appreciate your perspective!

I loved the extrait when I had a Sample set, it was gorgeous. I purchased the stunning red bottle, I sprayed it and it blew out in full oud😭, nothing like my sample.I now put on the oil after I spray. Keep your receipt , just in case. May have been the batch 😭🤷🏻♀️
I appreciate this video and totally agree on testing on skin. Some fragrances smell really different on skin vs paper. For example, I originally didn’t like Narciso Rodrigues scents when I tried them on paper. But then I returned to try them on my skin and they are now among my favorite “everyday” scents. I’m glad I gave them another chance!

I enjoy this type of video. I live in the sticks, so I can’t just pop in to a shop and sniff niche fragrances. There are SO many videos showing what is really good but it’s also beneficial to a beginner like me to see another point of view and maybe narrow some choices down. Plus, if we all smell the same there’s no need for fragrances, right?? That would be reallyyyyy sad.

Great video, Veronica! Looking forward to part 2. Mojave Ghost was one I sampled a few years ago; i just didn't get it! It was so unremarkable for me I don't even remember what it was like. I have the Oil Perfumery version of Italica; it's currently sitting in my purgatory box!

Mojave Ghost was a slow burn for me tbh. Byredo in general has been an acquired taste bc they don't scream and I'm THAT kind of girl. But what I have really come to love about Mojave Ghost is the violet in it. I also have Penhaligon's The Favourite, which is a violet dominant fragrance that is a gdamn joy to wear just for me, at home while working (neither really project). And I was able to 'find' the violet note in Mojave Ghost and its just so good. It's a 'just for me' type of scent but I'd never reach for it to go anywhere bc it just whispers and I like that loud pack frag experience when I go outside. Another Byredo that took some time to appreciate is Young Rose. It's a super green fresh rose that I will use to start my day of rose layering, then escalate to stronger and jammier rose dominant scents as the day goes on. With 300+ fragrances, I enjoy wearing multiple a day and layering is super fun for me.
I'm glad Mojave Ghost is a win for you. I can sense something in the purple floral direction in it, too. Young Rose is delightful! Very easy going perfume. 🥰🥰🥰
I love this kind of video! I have a full bottle of Italica and I love it! It smells like vanilla icecream to my nose. But it is very strong and I need to be very careful not to overspray as it can be headache city. Your Queen of Silk review was so funny! I have a sample of this and I agree it is very strong. In my opinion it is more unisex and perhaps leaning towards masculine a little. It smells luxurious for sure but a bit too bold for me also.

I love this idea for a video. We all so often succumb to the hype of a fragrance without factoring how despite this craze, may not work for oneself. I will say that I do personally enjoy and own many that didn’t work for you. I did test out recently Queen of silk and yes, out the gate with a bang but the dry down is beautiful. However, the wear is the factor; where, when, how often, etc. I found a good dupe, perhaps a little more animatic in the opening but so close. Amelie perfumery; a house under preproduction perfumery, that as the name implies, reproduces fragrances. They’re so good and have several originals I enjoy. I always find this the best way to get the scent profile without the investment. You look absolutely stunning. That makeup is makeuping! Love these colors but also really loved the pick look you had in your last video. ❤

Interesting how we all smell fragrances differently, like when I first sampled Mojave Ghost I didn't like it at all either - to me it smelled like some weird desert plant (images of cactus and agave came to mind, lol).. Then at a dinner the woman sitting next to me smelled so great I asked her what she was wearing, and she said Mojave Ghost! So that's a fragrance I can't wear myself but love to smell on other people! Also had a bad visceral reaction to Creed's Queen of Silk and Carmina... love the bottles but would never be able to wear the juice. But for me and my bank account, that's perfectly fine! 😆

Mojave Ghost: beautiful pink champagne, mixed with exotic flower, muskiness, really smells like a chic boutique store in a unique part of town. I am so in love with it because it's suitable for work, going out, traveling... anytime, really. My ONLY complaint is that it doesn't seem to last longer than 4 hours, or my nose is just used to it. I just carry it with me and reapply. Bal Dafryque lasts a lot longer.

I have kind of a difficult skin chemistry as a lot of things I don’t really love on my skin. But Mohave Ghost Nell’s absolutely incredible on my skin. I get the dusty thing when I smell it on paper but on my skin I get a lot of magnolia and a touch of violet. I went to the eye doctor wearing one spray of this and I got complimented by 4 people before I left, including the doctor!

finally somebody gets me... I blind bought "I don't know what" and was seriously pissed off.... lololol....... I don't even know if I can sell this cause its a no for me. lolol... that is what I get for trying to get a cheaper Another 13 lol. Oud orange is not an appealing fragrance but when it comes off of you it is compliment getting. I would get chocked out with this one but i sprayed it on the back of my clothes were it wouldn't catch me but catch the people I walk past and it has worked wonders lol. Just throw the Wood Sage & Sea Salt in the trash lolol... it doesn't smell good on me or on the people I smell it on.. I honestly think there is a batch Italica issue because the samples can smell different. Also I hate the floral smell ... Not bored at all! I love diversity! You know, I sometimes feel alone for hating 100 silent ways or all these popular Middle Eastern fragrances everyone reaves about! Nebras, Ajayeb, Bade’e Al Oud Honor and Glory for instance… Wood Sage and Sea Salt was a huge love two years ago but now it’s just a like. i’m glad I picked up a 30ml instead of the big bottle.

Hi, Veronica! I am on the fourth day of wearing Chloe Nomadę and loving it. I recently started writing notes about my fragrance experiences. Day one was “sparkly, fruity, fresh, nice for day, not sexy.” At another wearing, I really thought I smelled nectarine. Then later I thought the dry down became more sexy and the sparkle remained. Then later, overall a fruity floral. Today it got much warmer in the dry down. I don’t recommend wearing it through two exercise classes-got a little sour, oops, the nectarine didn’t do well with the heat 😅. It’s fascinating how people have such different reactions. Sparkly is definitely different than dusty!

I must say it was like a love at first sniff for me. I’m very new to fragrances, and this is my first and only Jo Malone in my collection. The only thing I dislike is the longevity!! I wish it lasted longer!!! Hey it’s a fun video. People must understand that we are not all the same and don’t have the same likes and dislikes. That’s what makes us different and individuals! People who get offended by something like this really need to open their minds!!

Love wood sage and sea salt ❤❤❤ , lake & skye 11 11 gives me a bit of headache . Thought of trying "I don't know what" , but I changed my mind because I don't want redundancy in my collection. Mojave ghost is one of my faves, and here's the reason why. Sapodilla, also known as Naseberry, is a fruit I loved while living in Jamaica, so it brings back those memories for me when I wear it😊.

It took me 8-9 months of several 2nd chances to decide that I didn’t hate Guidance the way I did on first sniff. i was so frustrated because I could not learn to un-hate it, in fact I really wanted to love it. I finally dared to wear it one night at work and all I ever got were compliments despite my discomfort and uneasiness. Wore it again and got more compliments and had to admit, I started getting whiffs of it from time to time and started appreciating it. Before I knew it, I moved to Team Guidance. 😄. From time to time, I still smell something in it that bothers me, but it didn’t bother me that much anymore. Now, it’s big like! I’m so glad I didn’t give up on it. 💜💜💜

Such a great video - nice idea Veronica 👍🏼 So strange that I got the same rush back to the 80’s when I smelled O Feminin! I stood there a long time contemplating what it reminded me off. I wondered if it might be a strawberry shortcake toy - she had a friend called Orange Blossom… In any case, O Feminin was not for me - think it’s the petitgrain. Mojave Ghost - I have poured out my pocketbooks to sampling sites such as scent split and scents gift as well! - I first got a 2 ml and went through it. So I got an 8ml from scents gift. It is still not full bottle worthy to me. However, I am intrigued due to its dry nature. I lived in the desert of southern New Mexico for 3 yrs, and something about it does remind me of the desert. Gypsy Water is still the winner from byredo for me. Thanks for this video - I think it actually saved me some money😀

OK girl I'm back- you had me upstairs looking through all of my Scentbird decants, (which are all unlabelled by the way) 😅 until I found "I don't know what", because I thought I remembered it being something like Molecule 04, sort of the synthetic sandalwood smell. So to me, It has a little tiny bit more citrus and it's not as good as Molecule 04, it does have that tiny hint of plastic to it. I actually think I kind of like it though! 😬🙈🤣
Those unlabeled scents drive me crazy! Grrr! I've tried Molecule 04 - not bad. I would wear it over I Don't Know What. Something in the latter just messes with my nose! 😩

Hello Veronica. Funny i just tested mojave ghost lastnight and its okay. I can see why its used at hotels because is very non offensive and soft enough to be unisex because it gives your skin freshly washed. However, for menits not woth the price tag. Lol

I also sampled Queen Of Silk, love the opening but man there’s something in the dry down really annoys me😩😩. I did like Mojave Ghost as a casual fragrance, I received a travel spray from the Skins box🤩🤩. Stay gorgeous 🥰🥰

No.....not my beloved Italica. I am excited to take this out again when the weather cools. I was at Perfume House the other day and a guy came in asking if they had Queen of Silk. His wife has it and he says it is "stunning, 10/10". They don't carry that fragrance and now I am curious. I usually don't like Creed. Maybe it's the high price tag in the back of my mind keeping me from liking the house. I'll test it next time I'm at Nordstrom.

I absolutely love dua's version of italica called Italiano! I never tried italica so I don't know if it's close or not, but I don't even care. I love Italiano for what it is.
Hi! I used to own the Dua version and it's overall more enjoyable and consistent in scent than the original. The opening of the original is unmatched though.
Italica doesn't work for me either! It smells great for 5 minutes then falls apart into something my nose can't even make sense of. Nice to know it's not just me! Looking forward to the next one like this--

Queen of Silk reminds me of THoO BonBon Pop, but the sophisticated version! 🤔Osmanthus in it reads to me as peach ( + patchouli + vanilla compared to peach, patchouli and caramel in BonBon Pop). I seem to be alone in this 😄 I would love to add it to my collection for formal situations 😊 first Creed that I like

LMAO Veronica chose violence today 😂 All our noses are different, but I will say that I saw @michyscents the other day on a video trying samples but only on blotter and she HATED Ghost in the Shell, I didn't take offense because I don't even take myself seriously, but my experience with that same fragrance was that it smells like a completely different thing on skin and I was like in instant love when I smelled on my skin, so I suggested that to her, but apart from that, there are SO MANY perfumes, it would be so boring if we all liked them all. I don't think I've used I Don't Know What by itself ever, to me it is like the Molecule 1,2, etc. fragrances...as a fragrance longevity enhancer also, they have one called Crystal Pistil and same. I gave my Mohave Ghost to Sara my daughter for her hospital perfumes 😭

I am never offended when someone doesn’t like what I like, and I am glad we don’t always like the same fragrances or they would be harder to get, and probably more expensive! Variety makes the world go ‘round. 😌

Queen of silk is such a heavy hitter! I own it and I am an over sprayer and with this one I only do 3 or 4 sprays and I smell myself for 8-10 hours… it’s potent at first but within 15 minutes it’s so gorgeous on my skin… I get compliments….. as long as I dont over spray😂

Italica was a no go for me as well. That toffee caramel note goes sharp and way too sweet on me every time.

This was so fun! Can't wait for more of these videos! I have DEFINITELY changed my mind on some fragrances (I can only think of one at the moment - Pas ce Soir). I am one of the ones that absolutely LOVES I Don't Know What. I can get how you wouldn't think it's great, though. I am one of the weird ones that loves molecular/mineral type scents, so it's right up my alley 😂. Same thing with Wood Sage & Sea Salt. But I only have one of the deluxe minis of that, and I don't wear it often.

Everyone's skin chem and indeed nose /perception is different. I must re-try Mojave Ghost, as it was chilly and violet to me, like Apollonia but way less strong x

Mojave Ghost is my all time favorite scent profile. It's amazing but unfortunately it doesn't perform very well. It's a shower gel/shampooey type fragrance. I love it! Guess 1981 for women is an inexpensive dupe for it. I am excited for the absolu version but I'm gonna get a travel size because those Byredo prices are crazy.

I like this type of video! There are many fragrances that I haven’t liked at first and then either they grow on me or after sitting for a while, the different accords start to play nicely with each other. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Sparkling Jo. I know you didn’t like it at first. I didn’t either but after my sample sat for a couple of months, I loved it. I now have a full bottle. It’s one of my favorites. Dear Polly is another one that I kind of liked but I felt like all of the scents weren’t gelling together. My sample sat in my drawer for months. I just tried it again this morning, and now I really like it. 😂got a free sample of Queen of Silk a while back. I don’t know about her. She’s going to have to sit in time out for a while. I’m not sure how I feel about her bully energy 😆

I have only tried 2 on this list: Italica - Xerjoff was a quick no for me and Queen of Silk was a purchase. I have a few of the older Creed fragrances so Queen of Silk is definitely something more updated for my collection! But for those of us who appreciate fragrance, great video idea!!

I had a similar reaction with Italica, I blind bought a bottle and had to let it go. From amazement to washing it off my arm. It reminds me more of baking bread but in the harsh smell of a fumey oven, & I guess, I don't get along with the Amber Xerjoff are using, it's too dense for my taste.
For a true gourmand cookie experience, BBW Christmas Cookies & Sugared Snickerdoodle or Cheriosa 71, but all of these options have loads of sugar on top.

I was really excited to try Mojave Ghost after hearing so many rave reviews, but I was so disappointed. It has a powdery scent that just doesn't work for me. Oud Orange Intense is another one that’s a definite NO for me. On the flip side, I absolutely love Italica-it’s high on my wishlist. I've only tried a tiny sample on a blotter, so I definitely need to test it on my skin before I make the purchase. I really appreciate your perspective!

I love these videos-- they're so fun! Your reactions kill me 😂 I had a similar response to Queen of Silk; I do like it but when I sampled it, it initially hit me like a ton of bricks. An hour later I was able to enjoy it on my arm but I'm not brave enough to get something THAT bold and have to wait it out after spraying 😂
