Okay gurl, when milk or water is overflowing, just stir it quickly and it will stop. Taking it off the heat is an opportunity to make it flow all over, so just stir it
My god, I'm 12 aswell and I can make macaroni better than her aswell. When it overflows I put salt on it and it stops lol. I feel like she's only on here because she has a pretty face.
I've tried this before but you don't use that much milk, instead think of it like risotto where you keep adding until the noodles are properly cooked and you should be ready to go directly to adding into the cheese powder.
@@jacob3kve42 "collects all of the starch from the noodles" = that's the point. That's what chefs do when making pasta: adding starchy pasta water to the sauce to make it creamy/have body. Also, that is literally how cheese sauce is made: first a béchamel from a roux of fat (butter) and starch (flour) and then adding milk. Then you add grated cheese. Presto, cheese sauce. I know the Kraft package already has the powdered stuff, so she didn't even have to add cheese, she already had the components of a béchamel. To waste all that starchy milk down the drain was cringeworthy, to say the least. 🤦♀️
@sophia_ To be fair (not that I didn't facepalm when she poured it out, though; I stopped the video at that point and I'm not interested in watching more of it), that milk was 2%, so watery AF. That'd need tons of butter to make up for it... 😂 There's no rescuing that mess.
So she's working in food industry and doesn't even know how to boil milk or what milk fat is? Not to mention how she wasted all the milk down the drain!!
It must be really easy to get a job in food insider, they seem to be okay with hiring people that don't know anything about food and that can't cook...
@@p4gash She replaced water with milk so there's easily around 6 cups of milk in the pot not just "a little". Which could've fed 6 ppl instead of going down the drain. She could've saved the milk by draining over a cup or bowl.
Since years, I have been preparing the cheese sauce in a separate small pot. Over low to Medium Heat, do not boil ! the Heavy Cream and Butter until it's melted, remove from heat. Stir in cheese powder with a whisk until well combined. It makes the cheese sauce thicker and a darker orange color. Then add to drained noodles. Yum !
that’s what I do! But to keep from washing so many dishes, I boil the noodles, drain, then make the cheese sauce in the same pot as the noodles are draining in the sink.
Why on earth did you throw the milk away? Wasteful! Next time keep the milk and let it boil down and then add the tough of cream and butter. I think you put too much milk and could measure it just enough to cover the pasta. Saves the waste of milk.
I can't tell if she is just joking about this whole process or not. If it's not a joke then this fully grown woman has the cooking skills of a ten year old.

Pretty good review. In my Kraft, I love putting fresh chopped tomatoes, maybe finely chopped onion or garlic, chopped bacon, or just go heavy on the pepper. I still love this stuff, been eating it for 32 years. Go Kraft!
Honestly what I do is I get the microwavable ones and i follow all the steps and I add a handful of shredded cheddar cheese, It's literally so good and cheesy! I'd recommend :)

I know I’m late, but I like to add a little hot sauce, mayo, and mozzarella to the mac and cheese to make it to my taste. Also some black pepper. The mayo helps to make it creamy and I’m not a chef so I don’t know if this is really weird or not but yeah.
Add a pinch of salt, some extra butter a few stakes of pepper a bit of shredded cheese some brown suger half a jar of mayo anoint 13 tablespoons of musterd and someone uncooked coffie grounds and its amazing!
Honestly, if you just add a bit of extra shredded cheese to the Mac it taste better. Not a lot, just a little bit more cheese. It gives more of a Mac flavor.
The numerous comments here about how she should have saved the milk are ridiculous. It boiled for 12 minutes, the fat separated and clotted and its full of starch from the pasta.
