It looks like two guys cutting a tree together while Gogo is giving Edgar more logs to drill through and more water to reftesh himself until the tree falls.
I thought this was going to show off Healing Rod's throw effect of killing the user, which took me an embarrassing number of failed Ultima Weapon runs to figure out back then.
Which is kinda wild because he seems like the type of guy to do that (I know that Goddess has an attack that makes one your party members attack your other party members)
@@rrtsduf Yeah but her design was inspired by Goddess Sophia to the point where they should've just called Yunalesca "Sophia." That way she can be added to the list of Summons in the FF series.
Note: Best to equip an accessory that prevents the Zombie status ailment on one of all members of that party. If that ailment hits the whole party, it’s Game Over.
About the Healing rod it makes ALL physical hits heal so even the Stray Cat Rage using Cat Scratch WITH the Healing Rod would still have it restore the Enemies HP NOT your OWN.
Congrats on having gogo be useful though easier to just use Gau if you're gonna research, but weapon variety here makes it. I assume a muscle belt for gogo uncharacteristically high hp given low stats in general due to no esper growth allowed.
I admit i didn't even know he could be equipped with other characters skills at all i just assumed he had the normal Fight command then his own Mimic command then Magic and Items just like how everyone else has their own list of commands

LOL Gogo chomping down on a statue like Ace Ventura biting the goon who trashed his car in the first movie.

Glad that Edgar didn’t even fell in love with the enemy😂😂

Well he was drilling her 😂

I always found it amusing how it heals on hits, but throw it at someone and it hits like a truck
it heals so much that actually hurts like a ton of bricks!
"Don't worry, my rod heals for negative damage."
One of the best boss battle songs ever.
Yunalesca's first appearance!
Wdym?
@@Nokia_editz Yunalesca's final boss form in FF10 was based on the design of Goddess Sophia from FF6.
@sdlock83 this isn't Sophia that's a different version.

@sdlock83 That's kinda cool
Edgar giving the Goddess his Drill ( ͡ಠ ͜ʖ ͡ಠ)

Yep, Its why I had Safety Bit on Edgar there.
Edgar kept drilling her.

Good point thanks for the explanation and demonstration

Wow, you completely skipped past the iconic victory fanfare 💔
By that point someone had to have heard it some 200 times, so fair enough in my opinion.
i'm red green colorbind, but does Gogo's color look wrong to anyone else used to playing the SNES version?
I believe a few of the sprites are a bit brighter in later releases than on the SNES. Relm and Gogo most notably.
totally different...but if you look at the original art for Gogo in the instruction manual, it's pretty spot on
Interesting. FF6 is my fav and I wanted to get the pixel remaster, but I hate that it doesnt have the extra content the GBA version had.
Yeah thats probably my biggest gripe with the PR versions. Other than that they are all some of the best ways to play the game at least.
Here to hope for dlc maybe
It should have been named FF collection pixel remaster disappointing collection.
Edgar drillin a goddess lmao
That Goddess statue isn't alive right?
How is Gogo allowed to use Gau’s rage when he’s not even in the party?
I'm confused Gogo is the parties mimic not the rage user unless it's different on non-SNES ports so curious how you got Gogo to even USE a rage
Even on the SNES Gogo can be assigned other characters' skills. Look in the status menu.

huh cool, i wonder if this works in brave new world mod
Wait… does the healing rod make gogo not use regular attack command?
@@JaxieWorld No I just got incredibly lucky here lol. If he does basic attack it will also heal Goddess iirc.
@ urgh okay - unfortunate with the Rage ability being random AF. But those 7000 damage looks great for such an early level 😈
you can barely hear the music in this remaster. the original sounded far better.
Why are they like 15 levels apart? What?
Grinding Celes to like level 40 something skews the averages way up for the other party members that join after Edgar and Setzer.
Which FF game it is?
FF6, the Pixel Remaster
Waos
This version of Decisive Battle is pretty weak tbh.
