Everyone is already buying their stuff for September while I’m waiting until 2 weeks before moving to my accommodation to buy everything 😭
i mean doing that at least u don’t have it all taking over ur room haha and i know loads of people doing what ur doing so don’t worry haha :))) xx
hah i will be buying everything 2 DAYS in advance... international student problems. Hopefully we won't have too much problem
at least it saves u from bringing things over i guess hahha i’m sure it will be fine cuz other international students will be in the same boat, hope it goes well :))) x

Just a little advice , most accommodations have fire doors on the rooms , therefore door stops don’t work and you’re better off just using a chair , I got one for mine this year and couldn’t use it x

Loved this 💓 Defo bring along board games, because it’s an absolute necessity for flat game nights etc. & Don’t forget pins for your pin board, as my whole flat used mine during freshers 🤣🙌🏼. I hope you have the best first year, it’s such a blast! 🤩

Wow! You took with you so much! Back in 1975, I arrived at my room in Park Village, which was much more basic than the rooms there are nowadays, with two suitcases. One even included a huge fruit cake, which my mother baked for me in case I was hungry. I had so, so much less stuff than you have bought. Those were pre-internet and laptop days, of course, so I didn't need to carry a laptop and printer. When I left after 4 years I left, once again by bus, with two suitcases.

hiya the grey pillows are from primark and my grandparents gave me the blackboard so i have no clue but i’m sure u could probs find one similar on amazon maybe 🤷♀️ hahah no worries :)))

Love your videos! I am planning on going to Brighton in September. Did you find out which accommodation building you were in before your moving in day? And did you find out if you had a double bed, en-suite ext before moving in day? 🤍
thank you so much, that’s so exciting!! and yes they confirm ur accom before u move in and depending on what accom u apply for they will tell u what it includes when ur applying, so you can see from the pictures what is there and whether there is an en-suite or not, hope that helps :)) xx
