I bought a 13.5 tog duvet from wilko it was only £12! Wilko is a great place to buy cheap things
Thank you for this! I've been meaning to buy a duvet for uni, and I'll definitely get this one!
I got mine from Asda and mine was cheap too!
Ways to be more eco-friendly and sustainable in health and beauty ❤️
1. use re-usable cotton pads made from sustainable bamboo sources- just throw in the wash every week and work perfectly for taking off makeup! Purchase from: amazon, eBay, depop and many more websites
2. A bamboo/wooden toothbrush- 100% biodegradable, plastic free and works just as well as any plastic toothbrush!
3. Bamboo/paper stem cotton buds- biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
4. Toothpaste/mouthwash tablets- these come in glass jars and you just chew with water to create a normal toothpaste or mouthwash! Plastic free and no waste!
5. Buying clothing from sustainable brands or second hand eg depop, eBay, charity shops. Many brand new items can also be purchased from these places as people sell all sorts!
6. Buying sustainable plant based/vegan makeup - eg the body shop or makeup which comes in cardboard packaging rather than plastic
7. Reusable tampon applicator/menstrual cup- either use non-applicator tampons in the washable reusable applicator or use a menstrual cup which can be washed after every use. Reduces waste massively. Alternatively, buy tampons with cardboard applicators instead of plastic.
8. A reusable flask/water bottle. Stop buying plastic bottles! If you carry around your own bottle it saves you money and the planet!! Recommended brands: Chilly’s (pricey) turtle cans (saves the turtles! Cheaper alternative). Even shops such as wilko and Tesco now sell metal bottles for around £5.
9. Wooden/bamboo razor. You just replace the blades which can be recycled rather than throwing away a plastic razor each time! See amazon for products.
10. Buy foods that are not wrapped in plastic - eg free range eggs in cardboard boxes, loose fruit and veg, bread in paper bags
11. Use your own bags in supermarkets, don’t buy plastic bags
12. Cut down on meat and fish consumption as this is one of the major causes for deforestation in the Amazon rainforest at the moment.
13. Magic makeup remover cloth- just add water and all your makeup (even waterproof) comes off with this towel! Reduces use of wipes and cotton pads which are not biodegradable and end up in our oceans.
14. Comparable bin bags- put these in your bins or use for wrapping food etc and they can be either thrown away and will decompose or they can be composted at home!
You can also buy things like tupperware and saucepans at the op shop!
Respect to you 🤝
You need two chopping boards, one for raw meat and one for everything else!! Don’t wanna get food poisoning x
Can't you just wash it
@@craigmalcom6294 nah that's overrated
@@craigmalcom6294 it's still unsanitary
Literally only ever had one glass chopping board. We always cut the vegetables first then the meat after. Give it a really good wash and you're good to go
