It’s the same as AEROPRO A610 trigger! The A610 you had was an older version that the cap was a bit different . But the newest A610 is exact the same 😆
Its suprise to see that the small compressor can really supply to the spray gun especially it's 10.2 cfm. Thats quite high for a lvlp. Also do you encounter moisture from the small compressor since it keep running especially during clear coat?
Hey Triggerman! For clear coats how far do you keep the gun from the panel? Im reading on some techniques where you can go closer about 4 inches and move faster. Seems like that is what you are using.
What is the possibility of doing work with a Walcom Carbonio pistol...??? Does it deliver what it promises (good material transfer rate) and low excess cloud????
It's a decent gun I plan to do a few videos in the near future with it It does have a good transfer efficiency and not as much overspray. One of the top tier spray guns

#1 lph400 #sagola 4600 #3 Sata jet x5500 for me. But most of the guns I spray on the channel are for the viewers / subscribers. Not everyone has a need for expensive spray guns for DIY purposes.

Help me understand. Surely you can do a whole car ok but just need to break to let the small compressor cool and refill? I guess you'd need to maybe break it into a few sittings and mask panels you've already done, like dividing the job into 3 main areas?
@@silver750iL that is an option if you don't have access to a bigger compressor yes you can do that. Depending on the color you're spraying you may have fluctuations and the colors on different panels that you paint at different times.

Would like to add I spray base at 6.9 psi. 60 cfm. Clear is 9 psi or the max the 5 stage turbine can do. So i'm doing pretty much all my spraying with true HVLP...unless i'm just in the mood to use one of my compressor guns or i'm spraying primer.

It's exactly the same as the A-610, and made by the same company. They've changed the cap on the newer A-610's. Yours might be the older version. @@slow_fobra no you don't have to prime the whole vehicle. But it would be a great idea to seal it right before you paint it. Just for better adhesion plus easier coverage. Especially since it's your own vehicle
Good job trigger. What company tried to get upk to sign a contract hopefully they didn't get you to do that because it looks like you did an honest review they tried to get my man to to say it was a good gun regardless of the outcome
I have no idea, no one has ever come to me with signing any contract. I have had companies tell me that I can't say anything negative about the product that's when I respectfully decline the offer.
@@thetriggerman954 yeah! Agreed. One time a boat came in and they didn’t want to repaint the entire boat but I thought it should have been repainted. Every bolt was corroded even the window seals had paint lifting. So I have to take everything apart and do over 30 small respray. Each one was a clear blend as well with cement which has a really fine metallic. Took me 23 hours to finish. Came out good though.

This gun isn't bad, but it lays on very little material for the air it uses, it's super slow. I use the DV1s for at home projects and even though its a "mini" gun with an 8" fan it lays on so much more material for half the air of these shitty " LVLP" guns that aren't even actually LVLP. They're advertised as ~4CFM but they actually use better 8-10CFM
@@thetriggerman954 definitely not, this gun and the aeropro A610 you mentioned are the same exact guns and air caps, just rebranded. I bet if it you did a side to side with your LPH400 or even a Prolite with a TE20 cap you'd get a lot more coverage for less air since this guns is both slow and uses a lot of air
You're not going to find too many full sized guns that go much lower than 10 cfm for less than 100 bucks. Quality and tech costs a more in the range most weekend warriors aren't going to invest in. Been there, done that.
@@bosshawg7427 the air consumption is only half the issue which I said, it is a very slow gun, you can get a 15cfm gun that will use LESS air doing the same job because it delivers twice the material. Using "less air" is only beneficial if it delivers the same amount of material while using less air.
@BryanMiranda96 I agree somewhat, but you have to be careful since atomization is still critical. I rather have a RP/transtech gun that can lay it down as needed with decent speed but isn't a hog on air for overalls. The FLG5 and Kiwami are good examples, just cost more money. The main issue with the R500s is by the time you try to speed them up and lay it smooth, they produce more overspray than desired.

No sir, no moisture at all. I didn't have any type of moisture trap on the gun. I was surprised myself 🤯
10CFM ain’t low volume. With that compressor and and an R500, you could paint a 747 nonstop😂😂

Hello Trigger. What pressure and what tip did you use for the base coat ?
1.3 tip 32psi on base and 40psi on the clear. Is what the gauge read.

This gun is indeed the same basic design as that a610. It's pretty solid. 10.2 means it's the only Chinese lvlp giving the correct data on the box🤣

I do a lot of rework and not quite by the book but I make it look good haha sometimes they want to rush things so I take short cuts lol
