2:33 the reason why processed meats are so cheap is because of government subsidies...even despite those subsidies, a vegan diet can be cheaper than buying meat today...imagine if vegetables and fruits get subsidized as much as meat, a vegan diet would be far cheaper than buying any meat product

The victim isn't human. Humans and animals aren't on the same level. I'm not going to eat my brother but I would have no problem going trout fishing with him in a couple of months (on the schedule).
You're right, they aren't human. But do they suffer? Do they want to live? You might be ok with killing them, but are they ok with that? Someone might be ok with killing you; does that justify it? Every creature with a beating heart and a brain wants to live. If we don't need to harm them, why would we?
If aliens came down who were more intelligent than us, would them being on a higher level then us justify them killing us if they didn't need to for survival? Ethics is about the point of view of the victim, not the oppressor. If you were in an animal's position, wouldn't you wish people would leave you alone?

Animals need to eat, and some eat meat and some dont and some eat both. Since one CAN NOT eat a plant based diet only without supplements, it seems to me that this is NOT a natural state of our existence. Since that is the case, the evidence of meat in our diets is a good and necessary element. We can certainly discuss levels and portions but the need for meat in a natural diet for us is right there to be seen. Now if you WISH to not do so, fine. But in no way are you ever going to force me to eat crap just cause you have a weak will and cry over your food.

He just keeps going in circles that the arbitrary food chain makes it ok to eat pigs. That's the equivalent of saying it's ok to eat them because we eat them. Theres no logic there at all.
It is ok to eat pigs. We've been eating them, along with most every other animal for 2 million years or more. I don't care if you don't want to eat a pig and you'd rather eat the same slop that the pig eats, but I'll be enjoying my roasted pork bellies thank you very much.

I had dinner at my friend's house, we had vegan pizza, and she microwaved chicken nuggets them proceeded to tell me how she saw someone ran over some chickens(mother and babies) and left them in the road and how she could never be that heartless while f***ing eating chicken bits. She complains about her blood pressure and cholesterol yet refused to go vegan no matter how much healthier she's seen me gotten(320 to 220lbs)but cries over dead animals. Lol.
