PIRATES vs. PUPPIES! Disney Lorcana CASUAL BUDGET deck gameplay!

- With the new set of cards introduced by Into the Inklands, coupled up with a few new locations, it was a no brainer to experiment with two very popular themes: PIRATES and PUPPIES!
In this video we show you a casual budget deck that we created that covers exactly these two themes and enjoy a very light hearted and fun experience with all of these amazing synergies. You can see our decklist and overview in the beginning of the video, to recreate it by yourself. Enjoy it!

Love the pirate deck and the synergies that came in to play. Definitely one I'll try for myself when I finally get to play
I had a LOT of fun playing this deck! And the best part? The cards we used for the deck would only cost a total of $14 USD. :O Its a very budget friendly deck for sure!

Just played for the first time. Since I’m a One Piece stan my first mtg commander deck was a pirates deck so I just ordered this budget deck to be mine first Lorcana deck. This looks super fun and with shipping, only cost me $11 on TCGPlayer. I can’t complain!! Great deck list I hope to have a lot of fun.

@@Mr_Bubbles-fc2zg That sounds like a good idea, actually. We can definitely make a video about that soon. But if it is something for a competitive tournament of such, I am afraid that the decks aren't the most creative! Hahahah! XD But we will make a video for sure.

Mr smee doesn't take damage if you have any pirate captain in play? Doest specifically have to be hook
Hey! It doesn't have to be Captain Hook necessarily. As long as there's a captain, Mr. Smee doesn't automatically lose a point of health. So, for example, John Silver has a "Captain" classification on it.
The previous person was commenting that the card was played incorrectly in the video. Also when stitch attacked hook he wouldn't have died because captain hooks rapier gives you challenger 1 which only applies on your turn. Also for some reason when Matheus played Agrabah he played it for only 1 ink when location cost 3 which then allowed him to illegally play a 5 cost hook that he would not have enough ink to play that turn.
@@Munkeeboy007 Hey there! Yes, we are aware of that! Charlie and I were laughing about it the other day at our LGS, as our friend Ethan pointed out that to us (specially the Agrabah one, which had such a big impact in the end!).
I haven't re-watched the video to see, but in some cases when we identify these missplays, we tend to add a "*" with a note in real time, so we can call out in the process, instead of re-recording all over again!

I was thinking of building a simillar puppy deck. Looked nice and casual. Also gonna do a deck with DuckTales, just because it's DuckTales. WooHoo!

I like your damage and lore tokens, where did you get them? are they 3d printed?
They are from LaserGaming at Etsy! You can buy it in a pack with a variety of tokens or just pick the ones you want specifically. They are of very good quality.

We made the Jim Hawkins Playmat (and other ones) ourselves, using as a base the original card art from the artists. But we only make it for ourselves, for personal use (since the original art doesn’t belong to us).

So in the puppie deck there is 16 of the same card i thought you could only have no more than 4 of each card could you clarify
This is due its unique ability described in the card itself. It reads as the following: “You may have up to 99 copies of Dalmatian Puppy - Tail Wagger in your deck.” That’s what allows player to have a lot of them.
So even a card that is not exerted can be taken out by an action card? I'm still learning.
Yes, absolutely! Exerting just leaves a character vulnerable to challenges, but actions or anything really that lets you target a character doesn’t care whether they’re exerted or not.
Where do you guys get your damage counters from
We bought them from an Etsy store called LaserGaming. They also have a Lorcana RUclips channel too!

Pirates are incredibly overpowered!
It is a very strong deck indeed, but I still don't think it can beat the majority of the meta decks being used nowadays!
