There's always someone complaining. This is a perfect example of bad akhlaq. Your comment clearly implies some intentional wrongdoing or bias on the part of the presenter. Maybe realize that accusing people in a backhanded way is not an attractive quality! Don't you see that he literally mentions multiple times that one of the main differences between the bible and the Quran is that Noah warns his people REPEATEDLY. And the presenter even says that God is justified in the Quranic account because Noah's people were warned about the punishment...in the Bible Noah doesn't even speak! Don't you think...that perhaps the presenter (despite not mentioning the 950 years) is very clear the Noah was a repeated warner to his people? Also, btw Noah is also believed to have lived for 950 or so years in the Bible too. This is one of the main attributes of Prophet Noah...his long life of preaching and this is not solely mentioned in the Quran dude! The real difference is, and what the presenter felt worthy of mentioning..was the difference in preaching by Noah in the Quran and the Bible. Like I, and more importantly, the presenter said was that Noah was an active preacher in the Quran. In the Bible, he wasn't.
Yes the true unique almighty god. Always warned a and gave a message to all nations in history. Including people currently today. The quran is the last and final message from god his creation.
As a Muslim, I must be entirely honest and say that this was not a very fair comparison and the video felt rather biased towards the Christian narrative, as many key points were left out of both sides of the story. One of the key points left out of the Christian narrative was Noah's fondness of alcohol, to say the least. The Qur'an, however, clears his name from that, as none of the men *chosen* by God to be a Prophet or Messenger were engaged in sinful acts. One of the key points left out of the Qur'anic version of the story was that the flood was a predestined event--i.e. the flood would have probably still taken place even if the people had all accepted the message, acting instead a sign of God's Mercy upon them, but the people chose to reject the signs from their messenger. There was way too much emphasis on God's anger in this video and very little emphasis on His Mercy and Compassion, while He Himself has said that His Mercy encompasses all things and that He has ordained Mercy for Himself, which will overshadow His wrath.
You, muslims forget that there is only one perfect being: GOD. Noah was just a fallible man like all of us. He got drunk after the whole earth was destroyed. I guess he was in depression. Also the Bible is full of GOD's mercy. It is recorded even on Noah that he preached righteousness. (In this case the video is wrong)
Hii Dalen. Much respect for your beliefs. Do you for example see comparisons between Noah and Jesus? How does Noah line up with the rest of Quran? Really and hounest question. God bless bro :-)
You don't need to say that. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I'm Muslim and I just wanna say that I appreciate the makers of this video taking their time out to make a visual comparison of the differences Peace Salam Shalom
No need to say that. I'm a Muslim but stop being disrespectful and inflammatory. They make interesting, informative and community-building videos. This channel is something to be prized
Have you read the Noble Quraan.please do may Allah give you Guidance and Courage /Strength to follow the true path.which Islam the Religion of Prophets and Messangers Almighty Allah. Islam is the Religion acceptable to Almighty Allah.
You forgot to mention that Noah (pbuh) was naked and drunk on the beach as the bible says. Of course we Muslims don't believe that. We respect all prophets and messengers from Adam to Mohamed, peace be upon them all.
Genesis 9:20 says that he got drunk and naked ''WITHIN HIS TENT'' !! We have to investigate before we write something about Prophets even though its not from our holy books..
This is where islam get busted.. According to quran, there is no warner, messenger or rasul before Muhammad.. A total catastrophy @ contradiction 😂😂😂.. Quran Surah Saba 34:44 - Sahih International: And We had not given them any scriptures which they could study, and We had not sent to them before you, [O Muhammad], any warner.
Islam is the religion of all the prophets and messengers including the children of Israel. Muhammad is not the founder of Islam yet he is the last prophet and final messenger. He continued what the previous messengers did but with a new law to all humankind until the end of the world. Unlike the previous messengers, they were appointed with message of faith and law for certain tribes and particular period of time. Still, all their message regarding monotheism is consistently the same. As Muslim, I have to believe in four holy scriptures which are Torah (the original one not what jews have right now), Injeel (the original one not what Christian have right now), Zabur (the original one not the psalm) and Quran. But torah, injeel and zabur just for the previous tribe and the laws therein are not valid anymore. Quran is the final revelation and laws for the global community anywhere and anytime until the end of the world.
Quran is the final guidance from the creator, before the day of judgment. Life is short, this earth is nothing but a trail. Do good deeds. Every single thing will be revealed at the day of judgment. ❤️
The Jews still have the Torah tho?? It's included in a book if 3 scriptures . Torah , prophets , and hagiography. There is talmud and other books some random rabbis added, which is not the original bible.
i read the story of noah(nuh) first in my life from a bengali version of bible when i was in 8th standard,,,,,but "surah nuh" with a beautiful reciter is heart trembling 😊😊✌😊✌😇
All the monotheistic religions are a fact from God and the prophets have one goal, but a lot of distortion has become on the Bible and the Torah, all God's books are sacred and God sealed the Holy Quran on the chest of our master Muhammad, peace be upon him
From my view this simple 6 minute is enough for incite quriousity... Of course for anyone that want to know detail they are welcome to read quran themselves.
Anyone on earth please understand, we are human, to the earth as children, should go back as children. Death is not tragedy but birth to the other side. Earth is the largest womb. Out of womb only children should come. But stillborn will also be possible. Becarefull lest we be stillborn.
It’s an amazing feeling to see and read Muslim, Jews and Christians talking about one of the gods great messenger . Love and peace wins all the time ❤️. God bless you all 🙏
All religions are fixed, and the prophets sent by God have a clear goal, which is faith in God, prophets and messengers, enjoining good deeds, forbidding what's wrong, avoiding immorality, and all prophets are infallible, and all religions are one and complementing the other. The prophets of God Moses, Jesus, Zechariah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, the last of the prophets, and the prophet, all of them aim to believe in God alone with no partner.
@@عليباصيThat's just silly , Muhammad is partner of al' LAH...and Muhammad has a total different message from the prophets of the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob..the GOD of Israel

The story of Noah was what really got me into stories in the first place. Regardless of what version you prefer, I think we can all agree that as a whole it's quite a fascinating story.
This story of Noah ( Nooh in Arabic) tells that stories in the Holy Koran are not copies of the biblical ones as some ignorant " bible scholars" claim.
@@aalsalti8349 For example there is the story with child Jesus, Mary and the palm tree in the Quran. It is based on the gospel of Pseudo-Mathew (apocryphe). It is not rare since the apocrypha were popular in the Arabian peninsula
@@kselka1 with due respects, if Quran copied Bible, then the contents are similar. The mistakes are also similar. Unlike Bible, Quran teaches us that the prophets are the chosen ones and of the great characters. They never committed the worst deeds, such as incest, deceit etc.
The story of Noah is just an example of how holy books plagiarize stories from other books. Quran is a copy (with different narratives so that it has similiraties but also some differences) of a copy of a copy, since the story of Noah in the Bible took it inspiration in the Epic of Gilgamesh, the first book ever written in the story of mankind.

Biblic version represented god very fearsome and cruel on the other hand Quranic version represented god as he warns the nation from flood Bible represented god very fearsome but Qur'an represented god as fearsome along with very merciful
As an atheist, i always see Quran and Islam as the one that makes more sense and enlightening. But, i will always find religion as the most powerful tool for mass controlling, hence inevitably will always be used for something anything political or monetary beneficial.
This is a brilliant way of comparative study. Going to subscribe. No biases, no prejudice. Summarizing the story without adding or removing any content of the story. The world will become a better place if people (especially from Abrahamic faith) realize how similar their beliefs are.
There are some very profound aspects missing in the description of the biblical account. The first time in the bible where it mentions the "heart of God" and how he was sad about the wickedness of people. So it's not just people sinned and therefore got punished but God was empathic to all the mess and destruction people were doing. That shows that when people sin, God is not simply angry but has feelings when his creation opens its heart to evil. That shows also that he doesn't want people to go to hell but feels sorry for them. So as christians we should feel pain about all the lost people. The fact that the OT doesn't talks about Noah warning the people, doesn't mean that they were not warned. He is the grand grand son of Henoch so the people had already in Henoch a warner (in the quran Idris). And the NT even testifies that Noah warned the people: And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly And it's nothing mentioned about the fallen angels tho whom mankind opened up which is found in the beginning of Noahs story. I wish these deep aspects were there too. Otherwise in this comparison the biblical accounts looks very shallow and doesn't reflect the way God reveals himself in his word. Too many unbelievers who heard about hell think the biblical God enjoys when people go to hell. But there is a big pain for the lost which even i feel for people since God touched me. And i wish for no one to go there. Because my God doesn't wish it too for anyone.
When I saw you first I expected that you are a most experienced person with Knowledge but You failed me that my thought is not right. Bible said Very clearly. 100 minutes of story not require to explain 100mintues all about from beginning to end. Read The Bible properly before Judge . Thank you
There's one main point I need to mention to make things a lot more clearer. Firstly, Allah didn't destroy nations just because of their disbelieve alone, rather He gives respite for that till death actually comes upon them in whichever form. Secondly, the reasons behind His punishment were acts of injustice in the society, oppression, immorality, disgusting acts, etc, and when there respite to become 'good' is over.
Hello Emir-Stein, thank you for this upload. Please do more comparisons. I really like your videos and I share them with my friends. Muslim subscriber from the UK. :)
Excellent comparison! Loved the way the stories are visually represented. I’d like to add some verses from the Quran to clarify some points that may not have been mentioned by the commentators: God did not interfere until Noah called for God’s help. “So he invoked his Lord, "Indeed, I am overpowered, so help." [Chapter 54 | Verse 10] And Noah asked for God’s help because his people threatened to stone him to death “They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." [Chapter 26 | Verse 116] The Quran also mentions that the people were wicked just like the Bible. “And We saved him from the people who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were a people of evil, so We drowned them, all together”. [Chapter 21 | Verse 77]
Surat (Noah) tells before the punishment ﴿إِنّا أَرسَلنا نوحًا إِلى قَومِهِ أَن أَنذِر قَومَكَ مِن قَبلِ أَن يَأتِيَهُم عَذابٌ أَليمٌ﴾ [Nūḥ: 1] (1) Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment." ﴿قالَ يا قَومِ إِنّي لَكُم نَذيرٌ مُبينٌ﴾ [Nūḥ: 2] (2) He said, "O my people, indeed I am to you a clear warner - ﴿أَنِ اعبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاتَّقوهُ وَأَطيعونِ﴾ [Nūḥ: 3] (3) To worship Allāh, fear Him and obey me. ﴿قالَ رَبِّ إِنّي دَعَوتُ قَومي لَيلًا وَنَهارًا﴾ [Nūḥ: 5] (5) He said, "My Lord, indeed I invited my people [to truth] night and day. - English Meanings ﴿فَلَم يَزِدهُم دُعائي إِلّا فِرارًا﴾ [Nūḥ: 6] (6) But my invitation increased them not except in flight [i.e., aversion]. ﴿وَإِنّي كُلَّما دَعَوتُهُم لِتَغفِرَ لَهُم جَعَلوا أَصابِعَهُم في آذانِهِم وَاستَغشَوا ثِيابَهُم وَأَصَرّوا وَاستَكبَرُوا استِكبارًا﴾ [Nūḥ: 7] (7) And indeed, every time I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments,[1761] persisted, and were arrogant with [great] arrogance. See also 22:5 and 23:12-14 in reference to development of the embryo. ﴿أَلَم تَرَوا كَيفَ خَلَقَ اللَّهُ سَبعَ سَماواتٍ طِباقًا﴾ [Nūḥ: 15] (15) Do you not consider how Allāh has created seven heavens in layers[1763] [1763]- See footnote to 67:3. ﴿وَجَعَلَ القَمَرَ فيهِنَّ نورًا وَجَعَلَ الشَّمسَ سِراجًا﴾ [Nūḥ: 16] (16) And made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp? ﴿وَاللَّهُ أَنبَتَكُم مِنَ الأَرضِ نَباتًا﴾ [Nūḥ: 17] (17) And Allāh has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth. ﴿ثُمَّ يُعيدُكُم فيها وَيُخرِجُكُم إِخراجًا﴾ [Nūḥ: 18] (18) Then He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction. ﴿وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الأَرضَ بِساطًا﴾ [Nūḥ: 19] (19) And Allāh has made for you the earth an expanse ﴿لِتَسلُكوا مِنها سُبُلًا فِجاجًا﴾ [Nūḥ: 20] (20) That you may follow therein roads of passage.'" ﴿قالَ نوحٌ رَبِّ إِنَّهُم عَصَوني وَاتَّبَعوا مَن لَم يَزِدهُ مالُهُ وَوَلَدُهُ إِلّا خَسارًا﴾ [Nūḥ: 21] (21) Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss. ﴿وَمَكَروا مَكرًا كُبّارًا﴾ [Nūḥ: 22] (22) And they conspired an immense conspiracy ﴿وَقالوا لا تَذَرُنَّ آلِهَتَكُم وَلا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلا سُواعًا وَلا يَغوثَ وَيَعوقَ وَنَسرًا﴾ [Nūḥ: 23] (23) And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwāʿ or Yaghūth and Yaʿūq and Nasr.'[1764] [1764]- These were the names of specific idols named after pious men of earlier generations. ﴿وَقَد أَضَلّوا كَثيرًا وَلا تَزِدِ الظّالِمينَ إِلّا ضَلالًا﴾ [Nūḥ: 24] (24) And already they have misled many. An analysis: God in the Quran, his book is grounded more in Western cultural traditions than in the Quranic text I would give this book 3.5 stars, but will bump up to four rather than down to 3 for the author’s noble objectives. As Miles writes, “We must all learn…to read one another’s scriptures with the same understanding and accommodating eye that we turn upon our own.” (21-22) Miles gives an explanation of his approach in the introduction, wherein he states that he will approach the Quran as a literary text with “suspension of disbelief.” He then explains his choice of Tarif Khalidi’s Quran translation, which is sound, as it is much more accessible to contemporary readers than, for example, Arberry or Pickthall. He also uses selections from Asad’s translation. Miles explains his choice with reference to other translations, in particular The Study Quran, which he cites on a few occasions. While the book is ostensibly about God in the Quran, there are often as many or more references to the Bible and multiple references to Christian tradition, such as Augustine, Milton, Blake, etc, accompanied by asides about the Sistine Chapel and other aspects of Euro-American civilization. This is understandable, given the author’s background and intended audience, but betrays a lack of research on his part. Whereas in Gary Wills’ What the Quran Meant and Why it Matters, we find extensive references to scholarship regarding the Quran and Islam by Muslims and non-Muslim scholars of Islam, Miles has a tendency to retreat to the familiar. This may be an effective tool for addressing his non-Muslim audience, but may also prevent him from delving deeper into interpretations of the text under consideration, the Quran. This approach does lead him to miss significant aspects of the text. For example, when discussing the question of why God did not forgive humanity immediately after the fall, Mills turns to a discussion centering on Milton’s Paradise Lost with reference to the Old and New Testaments (35-40), rather than other Quranic verses which discuss the manner in which God relented unto Adam and Eve immediately after the fall. This approach plagues the book throughout, giving us more of an appreciation for how Miles sees the Quran in relation to Christian theology and Western civilization than for what the Quran actually says and how God is presented in the Quran. If one wishes to gain a deeper understanding of what the Quran itself actually says, there are better books available.

In Bible, the purpose of Noah(AS) has been removed and I don't understand that without any purpose, why is the story mentioned...

Apparently only in the quran
True God always does
Of course God always did
Yes the true unique almighty god.

Thank for the information
You, muslims forget that there is only one perfect being: GOD. Noah was just a fallible man like all of us. He got drunk after the whole earth was destroyed. I guess he was in depression.
Also the Bible is full of GOD's mercy. It is recorded even on Noah that he preached righteousness. (In this case the video is wrong)

Much respect for your beliefs. Do you for example see comparisons between Noah and Jesus?
How does Noah line up with the rest of Quran? Really and hounest question.

@@islamisthesauce Meaning to the Arab people in Mecca not to Humanity
What is the original torah, injeel and zabur..?
How about the original Quran? And what versions of the Quran do you use right now?
The Jews still have the Torah tho?? It's included in a book if 3 scriptures .
Torah , prophets , and hagiography.
There is talmud and other books some random rabbis added, which is not the original bible.

i think quranic detailed is more perfect because it says why the punishment happend
Anyone on earth please understand, we are human, to the earth as children, should go back as children. Death is not tragedy but birth to the other side. Earth is the largest womb. Out of womb only children should come. But stillborn will also be possible. Becarefull lest we be stillborn.

They are not copied but based on, there are also stories in the Quran based on apocrypha
@@kselka1 where? which?

Any one want know more about the story he should read that in the Quran
Noah drunk wine and was seen naked as per bible but in quran he was a noble prophet
You clearly have never read anything. P.s I'm a muslim
And the NT even testifies that Noah warned the people:
And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly
And it's nothing mentioned about the fallen angels tho whom mankind opened up which is found in the beginning of Noahs story.

Well the whole point of Noah’s story in the Quran was he was getting tested for the flood. All the prophets got tested like any other human
I think it's the same in the bible

Loved the way the stories are visually represented.
I’d like to add some verses from the Quran to clarify some points that may not have been mentioned by the commentators:
God did not interfere until Noah called for God’s help.
“So he invoked his Lord, "Indeed, I am overpowered, so help."

And Noah asked for God’s help because his people threatened to stone him to death
“They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned."
[Chapter 26 | Verse 116]
The Quran also mentions that the people were wicked just like the Bible.
“And We saved him from the people who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were a people of evil, so We drowned them, all together”.
[Chapter 21 | Verse 77]

I would give this book 3.5 stars, but will bump up to four rather than down to 3 for the author’s noble objectives. As Miles writes, “We must all learn…to read one another’s scriptures with the same understanding and accommodating eye that we turn upon our own.” (21-22)
Miles gives an explanation of his approach in the introduction, wherein he states that he will approach the Quran as a literary text with “suspension of disbelief.” He then explains his choice of Tarif Khalidi’s Quran translation, which is sound, as it is much more accessible to contemporary readers than, for example, Arberry or Pickthall.
Any person can understand which one is true and just, and which one is corrupted and unjust...
In Qur'an, Noah(AS) tried to bring them towards righteousness for 950 years...
In Bible, the purpose of Noah(AS) has been removed and I don't understand that without any purpose, why is the story mentioned...
I love the way you explain about both great religions ,
God is merciful and he always warns before punishing.
The whole waqia of Nooh as is in Qur'an

In Qur'an: Noah is a pious and among the best men ever
In Bible: Noah is an angry drunkard who slept naked
Noah was actually called the most righteous man of his time in the bible. Which is why God spared him and his family. But you must be Joker Naik's die hard fan, isn't it?
I know this is a late comment. This was amazing. As someone who is now studying Islam. I look forward to watching all the other content on your page
the differences between the biblical Lot
and the Quranic Lot are also interesting btw
Both are divine books.❤
I'm from Malaysia, may Allah guide you and show the path of truth to heaven
Noah family, consist noah, his wife and 3 sons. They saved during the flood and noah children repopulated the earth after that.
I mean, Noah, his wife and 3 son.
3 son? 3 son? 3 son?
I mean, How they do that??
As far as I know, in Islam, Noah has 4 sons, Yam, Japheth, Shem and Ham. Yam died in the flood while the other 3, Japheth, Shem and Ham survived with Noah in the ark.
Brother pls suggest me which Bible i should read bcx there are more than 3000 version of Bilble from which version i should compare Noah's fload event with Quran.
In Islam the flood was local not all the planet
Same in the Bible actually. If you read the Hebrew that is.
