Which computer does all the actual processing and graphics processing? Like can I have an awesome host computer with so much power and using my old laptop as a remote viewer with RDP/TS or VNC, TeamViewer, etc.
Does the remote connection time out? If the remote machine goes “to sleep”, will it awaken when I activate the Chrome Remote Acess window. I set up a mini-pc to run windows programs from my iMac. I tried Microsoft Remote Access however if I leave the connection idle, it drops it requiring me to re-log in.

This is exactly what I need to keep my home PC running while I'm away [it has the occasional unstable moment]. Looks like you _really_ have to trust Google, however. I'd go for maximum complexity of the PIN...I'll have to test some non-numeric characters in the PIN string.

We can do a one-time generated code access...but there must be some other way where it appears in her device list and she needs to enter the 6-digit pin..since it's tied to a google account...and the 'host' computer belongs to someone else..is that the issue? I'm probably making this way too hard. She has this setup and working for one client..but this new client we cannot get the device added to her list of remote devices. Help please.
If you are trying to have access to the clients computer all the time you will need to be signed in with the same account ( Gmail) on all computers. So you will need to sign in with your Gmail, and create a pin that you will use to access that computer. Chrome Remote Desktop does have options to get and receive support using a one time code under Remote Support Tab. Hope this helps good luck.
Not sure if you can help me or not. I am techno stupid. Anyway. I lost my old ipod. I got a cheap shuffle to replace it. I dont own any apple products and I dont have wifi except my phone. Is there anyway to put music on this shuffle or can you tell me of a mp3 player I can work with my samsung note 10. I do have wireless ear bud coming soon. So either type of mp3 player would work for me. And closer to the cheaper end of the scale. I dont want to carry my phone when I am mowing. Hope this makes sense. Oh and where I can get some music as well. Thanks!
My Samsung Gear earbuds have 4gb of memory in them for the purpose of storing audio files. This way the ear buds act as their own music player with no need for a secondary device. They are also Bluetooth so you can connect them to any other Bluetooth device to play audio or take phone calls. I get about six hours of run-time out of them. Plus they can also function as a fitness tracker if you are into that.

When logging into one computer from another using GCRD for some reason I am unable to copy and paste photos and documents, which is very frustrating. By chance do you know how to fix this? This will not export sound on to client computer from host computer. You will need another program in addition to this to export sound and video. This will work if using a computer as the client, but I'm not sure if the phone app version will work with this mix due to being two separate apps but you are welcome to try. Good Luck.

There are two methods of how I would fix this. The first is one that is short but not likely to work, the second is long but will work for sure. I would attempt to load up the previous state of the data thru a recovery and see if that works. If not and you need the information from hard drive, then take out the hard drive itself and copy the information such as documents and such to something outside of the hard drive such as another computer (most likely need a adapter cable for hard drive to be able to attach to usb). Once important files are copied, place the hard drive back into the corrupted computer and then do a fresh install of the operating system thru a install disk or what ever safe means are available. This will most likely wipe the info off the computer, but that is why we copied the info onto the other computer. This will place a new setup for a new password to be set and once everything is activated then you can transfer that info from previous computer unto the now fix computer from a storage device such as a flash drive. Also when using a computer for training, the computer needs to have a separate profile on the computer that is a standard instead of administrator, allowing the remote desktop to be used but limited. The admistraor will be separate and is the only one that has the ability to change passwords. This will fix that issue from reappearing. Hope this helps.

There isn't a way to get rid of it, that toolbar is so you can stop sharing. The only way to hide it is to drag it to a bottom corner of the screen. Keep in mind that if connection is lost it will re appear when it re connects. Then you will have to drag and hide it again.

Yes you will have to have it set up on your computer, then download the app on your iPad and sign in using the same email.

I got totally confused with the pin numbers you put in. Did you use exactly the same pin numbers on all the computers you were remotely accessing?

Yes there's an option to give access to someone else. Like of someone is helping you fix something on your computer.
