Wow Ant that was so atmospheric, and the story was new to me, but the High Peaks are so remote that I bet you could hide up there and pick off passers by with no problem, we have driven back through the Peaks at night, on the way back from Norfolk, and I agree with you, it is so spooky, so much so, I needed the loo once, and my husband said he would pull over so I could go behind a bush, but I wouldn't get out of the car, so we drove all the way back to Manchester with me desperate! I know too much information lol!, but at least the ghost of black Harry didn't get me! brilliant as usual Ant, thanks

Another brilliant video. I never heard of Black Harry before . I just watched a documentary about Trevor Hardy The beast of Manchester. It was about the same time as the Yorkshire ripper murders . So his crimes were overshadowed. I think you could cover this serial killers story so well . As it not that well known ? All the best pal 👍🏻

Top one again Ant! A very sinister feel to it & dark. The filming & narrative was mint! The viewer feel like being with you every step of the way. The shackle in the rock was interesting (could he of secured a victim to it before robbing them or a couple of travellers ?). He had a prime position to act out all he needed. Well researched mate. Really enjoyed this video It made me think about how in the past we have seen films and heard music that in some way romanticises these highway men. Cruel and calculating in nature this man had no mercy.The lvictims would not have had a chance. A great video Anthony. The weather was cooperating with you on this one, no need for special effects. I am not sure you should have moved that bull ring, it's like iron chains calling the spirit of Black Harry to come forth. Where his house once stood did not look too bad as far as land goes, it certainly looked nice to me. I could imagine someone like me, thinking I got a good deal on this land to build a new home, only to realize later the evil person who used to live in the very spot. In Anaheim Hills, not far from Disneyland, there is a hill called Robbers Roost, which provided a lookout for bandits to keep an eye out for the Butterfield Stage coaches coming up from San Diego and Yuma.

The land where his house was, is now used by the waterways hence the pipes etc, but I would presume it was have looked really nice around there back in its day, regardless of its macabre past. @@daftmonkey7296 I have an old High School friend that lives in Yuma. The area is interesting, but too close to the Mexican border for me. I will be moving out to Kingman, AZ hopefully this coming year. It gets hot out there like Yuma, but the Colorado River runs nearby, and it is close to some large lakes. Not to mention it is close to The Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and a train ride away to Disneyland. I'm not there yet, but if you ever come to the states to vacation, you are welcome to stay for a couple of nights for free.
Well Ant youve done it again...delivered the account of the life of Black Harry. I can well believe you felt weird walking the route he used to take to murder and rob his targets. Could imagine the house standing there on the corner where he plotted his evil deeds. Seeing the tree where he was hanged opposite the pub sent a shiver down my spine and to be gibbeted for all to see must of been a sight to behold. Wonder if his presence has been felt in the pub. Shame you didnt have your dad with you and his spirit talker to see if you could pick anything up. Tha ks for braving that awful weather to bring us this story and for researching it all and making us feel as though we were there watching him carrying out his dreadful deeds. Black harry he was pure evil, he probably tethered his horse on that ring you found so he could rob and kill those poor people. Black harry got what he deserved in the end. It did seem creepy walking the trail but also beautiful. Great content as always ant can't wait for the next one 👍xx

@daftmonkey7296 As I get older, I often wish I had returned to England. Would love to visit the Welsh village where my Dad was born. The first house there was built in 1010 😳. How is it possible that a building can stand for more than 1000 years? Imagine the hundreds of souls that have entered those doors.

Well Ant youve done it again...delivered the account of the life of Black Harry. I can well believe you felt weird walking the route he used to take to murder and rob his targets. Could imagine the house standing there on the corner where he plotted his evil deeds. Seeing the tree where he was hanged opposite the pub sent a shiver down my spine and to be gibbeted for all to see must of been a sight to behold. Wonder if his presence has been felt in the pub. Shame you didnt have your dad with you and his spirit talker to see if you could pick anything up. Tha ks for braving that awful weather to bring us this story and for researching it all and making us feel as though we were there watching him carrying out his dreadful deeds. Thanks Ant really enjoyed learning aboout Black Harry xx

Black Harry fields were a place in Swinton in the 70s, 80s
Black harry he was pure evil, he probably tethered his horse on that ring you found so he could rob and kill those poor people. Black harry got what he deserved in the end. It did seem creepy walking the trail but also beautiful. Great content as always ant can't wait for the next one 👍xx

How is it possible that a building can stand for more than 1000 years? Imagine the hundreds of souls that have entered those doors.
