We so much enjoyed hanging out with you guys at the Tampa show! Hopefully we can catch up again later in the year at Disney. This was an excellent review of all the Airstreams at the show. We still like the 20' Caravel and the 23' Flying Cloud. And for the record, we are Queen bed people and will never own an Airstream with twin beds...
Ha! Yeah I don’t understand the fascination with the twin beds. :) It was SO nice seeing you both at the show. We must do a video collaboration in Disney. Let us know when you are back at the Fort!! Safe travels friends!
There are alot of reviews on youtube over airstreams and this has to be my most favorite one because you quickly get a comparison on all the other choices. Erica gave alot of great insight to why she did or didn't like certain layouts and it really helped me come to the same conclusion.... POTTERY BARN!!!!
I agree the fabric cushions and upholstery is hard to keep clean especially while camping. I have found that lately airstream cabinetry quality isn’t as good as it used to be. I definitely agree with the husband that the Classic 33 was the best. I’m a big guy and the bathroom on the 33 is worth loosing seating at one end of the trailer. The only problem with that is on some models you can get the hatch with a dinette on one end which I also love for fast loading and oversized items. Great job on fast editing on the walk throughs. Cheers from Florida 🌴🌴🌴👍
We looked at the Pottery Barn, but the way we camp we couldn't justify the fabric covering on the couch. Although the 33 Classic bathroom was nice, how much time do you spend in a bathroom? After that the couch position isn't in a optional position in the 33. We decided the 30 Foot Classic would fit our style. After year in it we a very pleased with the layout. We also went from a queen bed in our previous 25 Foot Airstream to the twin beds in our Classic. The twin bed are so much better than the queen bed models. It adds floor space and each person has a few more inches in width and length vs. the queen bed model.
Hi, I appreciate your comments. I do see the fabric on the pottery barn as an issue. That’s the one thing I think needs improvement. Great feedback on the layouts between the 33 and 30 as well as the bed configurations. This was really helpful.
waiting for them to build a 33ft Classic w/ the same design from Pottery Barn plus add the 3in lift and 16" tires while adding solar and true 4 season rated
I had a 25 ft Flying Cloud, queen bed ( west/east) I sold it when gas prices were crazy.....anywho...my future AS will be a twin bed....you actually get more room compared to a queen....and you appreciate the split bathroom....one can shower, while the other gets ready....I'm looking to buy a 27ft International or Globetrotter in a few years
Very nice video! Wow it's overwhelming to see so many RV's. They are not cheap. From my perspective, I see me buying an RV once I retire so I can do some traveling. One important point. I see a lot of work ahead. You have to maintain the RV to keep it in top shape. You have to tow these animals. Are you ready for that experience? You will have a lot of privacy. Less interaction with other humans. You eat what you please. You can save on food but you have to buy it, prepare it and clean after yourself. ENJOY! Thanks for the extensive tour! 😂❤
Classic 33FB, because that's what we have . My husband put a 3 inch lift on her . BTW, the bed raises & comes in handy when you want to "recline". My heart was always set on a 23 foot Flying Cloud (double axle & tow with a F150) But we snagged this at a great deal from RUclipsrs. You can't go wrong with any Airstream~
Yes , some people like gas ovens as oppose to convection ovens for their camping preference. At some point, Airstream used to offer both, a gas oven and the option of having a convection microwave oven.
the twin bed units have MUCH more storage than the queen do.. for old farts where waking up my wife is priority.. we do twins in campers and king at home... but the storage is the big advantage of my twin camper
It seems folks are split between queen or the two beds. The floor space is nice but we personally prefer the one large bed. But it’s good to have the choice. Thanks for the comment.
Classic 33, without a doubt!!!
That bathroom is what sets it apart.

Thanks for the comment. We wanted to provide a quick overview of all the models they had on display. Each one has its pros and cons.

ohmygosh! We were there too. Sorry we missed you. Just found you, new subscribers. Michelle
Awesome. Thanks for subscribing!
@@ExactlyErica You are welcome!

That would be a nice model.
I second that.

Yes, indeed they are a lot of work but also a lot of fun. Thanks for watching!
Great video. For me It's the Classic 33 . The Pottery Barn was a very close 2nd.
Those are our top two for sure. Each very nice in its own way.
We love our International 23' FBT. I could never go for the split bath!
We agree. We really like the big bathroom on our 23’
The twin beds are 5" longer. My husband is 6'3" so it's twins for us!
Thanks, that is a good point.
Did you miss touring the Trade Wind?
We missed it. This was our first time at the show and we were only there a few hours and there is so much to see.
You skipped the Flying Cloud 30 Bunk House that was there. I know It was there, because we bought that unit off the show floor.
Congrats on your purchase! We hope you are enjoying your Airstream!

That’s a really nice Airstream. I didn’t know about the bed raising, that sounds amazing. Thanks for watching.
I think that is an oven isn't it? It's a combo microwave/convection oven.

Sorry that we missed you guys, at the show, #EscapePod
Yes, sorry we missed you! I hope you enjoyed the RV show.
We have the twin bed only because of me. To much tossing and turning while sleeping. You can blame Uncle Sam for that lol
Thanks for the comment. The two bed setup would definitely help in getting out of bed more easily.

Thanks for the comment. I can see how it is easier to not disturb each other if one is sleeping. It’s good to have these two options.
hurricane MILTON coming soon
Twin
sad to see the poor fit and finish.... twin bed give more usable floor space & bed length 80" vs 76"
It seems folks are split between queen or the two beds. The floor space is nice but we personally prefer the one large bed. But it’s good to have the choice. Thanks for the comment.
Personally I think your husband is the smart one.
😆- Thanks. I will make sure he sees this comment.
@@ExactlyEricaI said that because he likes the Classic 33 over the Pottery barn. However, I do like the way you critique the trailers. Cheers!
