After the Super Bowl, It was one thing after another…Devonta Freeman declined, Coleman left, Hardy and Sanu left, We lost the greatest offensive coordinator ever in Kyle Shanahan, Head Coach Dan Quinn was exposed as being clueless about how to run an offense, Julio Jones declined a little bit and left for greener pastures, Brady and Gronk moved to our division, Matt Ryan was treated like crap and left us for greener pastures, Julio Jones joined the Buccaneers. It’s just a beating. Over and over and over and over and over and over! The few good things: A new and better Head Coach-General Manager duo in Arthur Smith and Terry Fontenot, Future Hall of Famers like Kyle Pitts and A.J. Terrell and Cordarrelle Patterson, a respectable 2021 campaign, a good 2022 draft, and a recently initiated full blown rebuild mode.

I was 16 and a sophomore in high school this season. Have watched basically every game since I was 12. I was also at this game. Greatest day of my life. Best environment I’ve ever witnessed at a football game. Now I’m 22 and a senior in college, still die hard dirty bird. Been rough ever since that super bowl but I have faith in 2024 season we will be back in the big game. Rise up!!!

It’s the same thing every time, Rodgers goes 3 and out 5-6 times straight. Other team scores 20+ after having so many chances and then Rodgers puts up numbers when the game is already decided so they can make it look like their defense let them down. Happens every year and the next day it’s “it wasn’t Rodgers fault!”

Mind you Aaron Jones fumbled on the opening drive. And none of those picks had good field positioning. You had 1 at the 19, 33 and 35. Against an all time Great Tampa Bay defense? Good luck.

This represents us. This is the Falcons team we are deep down. The Falcons, we’ve lost our way. All it takes is a good rebuild to find our way back. This Falcons team could have been a dynasty. But we collapsed. We were on top of the world. But then…28-3 happened. That was supposed to be our year. The year we would win a super bowl. Every team will eventually have their year (maybe not the Jaguars and Lions, but that’s on them). And that year was supposed to be ours. And I know we can find our real year. We can win a super bowl. This team can be so incredible when we are in a groove, even now. But that groove breaks so easily. This team, at it’s best, is an offensive explosion with a subpar but capable defense. And at it’s worse, a decent offense with a lead blowing defense. Our defense is our main focus. Well, it should be. I just know we can win a super bowl. The Bengals may not have won a super bowl. But they have started the mantra of “WHY NOT US?!” So, why not us? Why not the Falcons? This needs to be shown to the entire Falcons locker room. Coaches, staff, players…everyone. There was a time when we were a feared team. A time when we gained HUGE leads and never blew them when it truly counted. Where are the Dirty Birds?! Where are they?
We had a 31-0 lead. And ended the game with a win of 44-21. There was a time when we were all that. Falcons fans, show this video to everyone who brings up 28-3!

I'm a proud Packer fan. We won 8 straight games. We were on the brink of the end of our season when we were 4-6. But we won our last 6 to win the division. We beat the Giants pretty comfortably and we grazed past the 1 seed, Cowboys. Packer fans saying we would have won if we had home field are wrong. The Falcons were just the better team. Matty Ice has to be MVP and I wish the Falcons all the best against the Pats.

Jahvon Turner Aaron Rodgers didn't play that great of a game, compared to what we expect from him. Better than average? Definitely. But it wasn't nearly enough to say he shouldn't take any blame for the loss. Even if you have a historically great performance, if your team loses, as QB you have to take some blame even if it's not deserved.

This game is a great example of how misleading individual stats can be. Rodgers had 3 TDs 1 INT, but all 3 of his TDs were after going down 31-0 and being down by 31, 30, and 29 points before each TD.
I’m reminded of this because of Dak’s performance against the Cowboys today. His stats look solid
403 yards, 3 TDs 2 INTs, 41/60 (68%)
but the vast majority of them came after being blown out 27-0.
