But I thing the situations in which u can land in the water are rare, always u can try open window. The mechanism should work for a while in or under the water

Now u know how good volvos are, specially the 1. and second s60s and second generation of v70 (the 2.4 Liter diesel engines). My volvo runs and runs and runs (260.000+ km) no problem. And its almost as save as 2020 cars. Volvo 4 life!

Volvo’s safety levels is 5star.. I was once knocked in the sides by Mercedes C200, but only saw scratches on my side step which I smoothened off using my fingers. The C200 bumper was badly damaged. I drive an XC90 2007 V8.
ну багажник был бы смят уж точно, тут как удар пошёл бы, если просто поверх лонжеронов, что скорее всего ,то так как ты и говоришь, ещё и защиты от хлыстовых травм нет, тут у водителя даже и не хрустнуло скорее всего
@@VolvoSafeandStyle если в лонжероны приходит, зад первым делом вниз загибается. А так, посмотреть гонки на выживание, они как из фольги, хотя там могут что-то и подпиливать для зрелищного эффекта
@@daff847 я вот тоже когда посмотрел гонки протрезвел на счёт прочности 240/740, а то танки танки, ничего сверхъестественного на наше время, в 70-80 может быть и правда были прочнейшими, тут, правда, страшно представить чем были остальные.

Однако стекла багажника очень много прибавляют в прочности, довелось как то снимать деталье на запчасти с одной 940, которой спринтер в зад на скорости где-то 50 прилетел, у нее конкретно загнуло зад вниз, задние боковые двери вышли из проема, пошла волна по задним крыльям, но при этом зад форму не потерял, стекла не выбило. Бампер я не видел, а, вот, дверь багажника не пострадала. Со слов владельца, он своим ходом доехал до дома, спринтер без морды увозил эвакуатор.... Так же видал 210ый мерин, сарай, сжеванный похлеще, чем в гонках на выживание.. Не уверен, что пассажиры могли в нем выжить, наверное, как в этом видео, фура в зад прилетела в пробке... Но опять же, в гонках могут специально лонжероны подпиливать для зрелища... А еще, по мойму, в "топ гир" есть видео, где 960 сталкивают лоб в лоб с е34. Обе разнесло просто в хлам..

@@DariusDrive because usualy they are low on weight to save fuel, not that they are not safe but not as heavy reinforced like the Volvo ones. For e.g XC 60 weights around 1.8-1.95 tones, but a CRV weights 1.55 tones
As much as I love Volvo, let's be realistic, if there had been another car in front of the Volvo it would've been sandwiched and the occupant survival doubtful.
