Something that helped for my skin and made it glow was following a good skincare routine. I keep my skin hydrated by staying well hydrated every day. I wash my face twice a day, both morning and night. I use the very gentle riceberry face wash only. After washing, I apply riceberry vitamin c face serum by litleextttra. When I move outside, I always use sunscreen. Just doing these things made a big difference in just 3 months. I hope this can help someone else who wants to improve their skin texture.
The depth of your research, your dad's assistance, and your amaaaaaazing diction all impressed me here. Thank you for this chemistry lesson. Fantastic!
Brains, beauty and talent- you’re the best! You have no idea how much you’ve taught me about skincare from watching your channel over the years. I’m almost 48 years old and soo thankful that we have someone like you for the more mature audience. Thank you so much and always looking forward to your next video!
I'm 61 and learning from her and taking every bit of info from her that I can. She tells us exactly what she uses. Who wouldn't use what this brilliant lady tells us? I totally agree with you. Plus...Angie CARES, as other RUclipsrs 95% don't care.
I was in the middle of ordering similar skin care product. So glad I found your video and you explained it so thoroughly, and I love the fact that you do reviews base on science and facts, rather than "pushing" out the products to others. I purchased the timeless immediately! Thank you Angie, subscribed!
Hi Angie. I've been watching you for years and will be turning 50 this September. As person with a science degree, I really do appreciate the work you do to get to the bottom of why products and procedures are effective or are ineffective. I also very much appreciate your Dad weighing in on things. My dad is 75 and I ask him about so much as well. Thanks for simplifying this for the rest of us. You are the real deal.
My favorite Vitamin C product is the 100% L-Ascorbic Acid powder. I mix it with their Resveratrol/Ferulic Acid antioxidant. It has made a tremendous difference in the texture and look of my skin. Yes, it does feel gritty but that goes away over the course of a couple of hours...soooo worth it.
I do the same but I mix Vitamin C 23% + Spheres of hyaluronic acid 2% and ferulic acid/resveratrol of the ordinary. I don't like it because it is not well absorbed but the result is good.
I recently finished using my first bottle of Vitamin C. I purchased the Dr. Brenner C Serum with Vit. E, Ferulic & Hyaluronic Acid from Amazon for about $18.00. I started slow and then increased usage to once and then twice a day. I had no bad reactions at all. I am a natural redhead with very pale skin with reddish under tones. I was concerned about starting this to be honest. I ended up really loving it once the bottle was empty and and I saw my skin changing again. I had some red spots on my cheeks probably due to menopause and this vitamin c took those away. My skin improved. I am now trying the Timeless Q Serum and I will add the vitamin c again. I will probably try the Timeless one this time. Thanks for all of your recommendations Angie. I feel safe purchasing products you're recommending.
I would LOVE to see you do a video breaking down what’s best to improve skin texture ! This was so informative and I finally understand what I should be looking for! Thank you
I was so confused about skin care routine but after watching many of your videos, I trust your opinion and have printed out and follow your Morning and Evening skin care routines EXACTLY! Thanks so much for your research and sharing.
And THAT is how it’s done 👏👏👏 THE BEST evidence based , everything you would ever need to know video regarding vitamin c from our brilliant beauty !!! absolutely FANTASTIC video Angie ♥️Pam
The only good vitamin C out is lipozome technology from LivOn. And, raw coconut oil ingested regularly (also can be used on the skin with sodium bicarbonate) along with MSM Organic Sulfur Crystals heals your skin (and much more), it replenishes the sulfer deficiencies we all have do to petrochemicals in our soil, so much more. My way is much more efficacious! Incidentally I know of three ingredients that heal skin cancer and have helped many people with this.
Thanks for this video Angie. What is the right application way for vitamin C? Moist skin, dry skin? The first thing on your face after a shower on on top of a serum? Thanks
I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Between you, Dr.Dray and Jen Loves Reviews my skin has never been better! I love how much research you do and how you explain ingredients to make choices easier for us.
Hi Angie. I just wanted to say thanks for all the input. I went to the dermatologist and they said I had great skin. I'm 37 but you've helped me out a lot. I just wanted to say thanks for all the help.
Great video 💜 Stability is a factor, yes, but THD is oil soluble so penetrating the lipid barrier is likely better :). Something to consider IMO. Agreed that there needs to be more studies on the esters but there is some great value in both SAP and MAP for acne and also for pigment. As well as THD due to penetration potential 🙂 Love the Paula’s choice as long as the user doesn’t have fungal acne. The oil in that one could be very problematic. Otherwise it’s practically perfect. Ferulic Acid is slightly yellow (very very slight) so I am ok if my vitamin C is ever so *slightly* yellow to start. Fantastic video Angie!! Love your channel 💜 Lucky you that your Dad’s a chemist!
Mary Salhanick I noticed that my maelove is now a mid-tone yellow after 1 1/2 months, also I keep it in the refrigerator. 🤷🏻♀️ Think I’ll try Timeless next time.
LOL, I sent this video to my husband and said he HAD to watch as he swears nothing works like the skinceuticals which is the only skin care he uses, even though I have tried to tell him. Hoping this video convinces him. Love all your videos and how down to earth, detailed and clear yet fun you are. Thanks for all the effort you put into these videos:) xxs
This was very informative. I use the Glow Maker every morning, and two nights a week, after a hydrating toner, I massage a light coating of The Ordinary Vitamin C suspension 23% into my face until the grittiness disappears, then follow with moisturizer. I'm having really good results!
So I got this timeless vitamin c serum and wow! It feels so good on the skin! I love it. I did use her $5 off code and am so happy with this purchase. I have had 0% irritation.
Love your sciencey brain. So cool your dad is a chemist and he can help you. I’ve been using the Timeless Vit C for 3-4 years now since I started watching your videos. It’s amazing. It reduces my melasma to being barley detectable. I have yet to get a bottle in the new packaging, but I placed an order earlier this week and hope it’s the new air tight bottle. Thanks for all your research Angie!
I've been using The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 30% silicone with The Ordinary Resveratol +Ferulic Acid 3%, and it is amazing. Results like no other, and the price point great.
I recently purchased the Timeless Vitamin C due to your recommendation. I have been using it for one week and definitely see a difference in my skin. I’m loving it.
priscilaa_23x Hi Priscilla I don’t know if I noticed a huge difference the first week except my skin felt so much softer and not as dry. Over the course of the past few months I have notice my skin is brighter, my pores are smaller and the overall texture has improve. I have tried many vitamin C serums and like this the best.
Just ordered timeless with your code. All i wanted was something with vitamin c and SPF and almost went with SuperGoop until another RUclipsr mentioned that the vitamic c wasnt active in it. So now I'm doing timeless serum with a separate spf afterwards!
Timeless has an airless pump now! Fabulous. That has been my biggest complaint with the product is that it would oxidize, even with babysitting, before I could ever finish the bottle. Thanks so much for the video.
As always, great information Angie. My sister recommended you to me and I have recommended you to several friends and family members. Love how you always look for the science, chemistry, behind your recommendations. You do all the work for me. I have been following you for over a year now and everyone comments on my skin and how great it looks and how I look younger than my age. I owe it all to you. You are the best. Keep doing what you are doing.
And THAT! is why I follow YOU!!! You are not only beautiful but smart...and yay for your dad!! My son is a chemist and I ask him questions for other things...will use him some more! A note: I ordered Timeless from Amazon, once. I opened it a month after receiving and it already had a yellow color to it. I left a review about the oxidation as it was past the return point. *Now, I only order directly from the Timeless company!
Ret KE it brightens the skin and minimizes age spots. Vit c repairs damage to the skin when used regularly and helps prevent further damage. It also contains ingredients ( the serum) that plump the skin and gives a more youthful appearance while pulling moisture from the air for hydration.
Ret KE I had some brown spots - and little raised beige spots developing. It faded the brown spots- some are completely gone. The little raised spots are gone as well
Great video! I am a huge fan of The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA 2%. This product is pure L-Ascorbic Acid with both squalene and HA which are readily acceptable to my skin. Great price point. Packaging does not need to be elegant. Both Squalane and HA have HUGE research supporting effectiveness. This concentration is well stabilized. I am allergic to ferulic acid but you can mix it with another plant-based squalene, if slight tingle occurs. I do not wear on my neck. Everyone must find what works for them- which I feel like Angie is always good to mention.
I've tried both Timeless and the Ordinary and it's hands-down Timeless for my vitamin C. With Timeless it just goes to show the product does not have to be the most expensive to be the best.
Thank you so much, Angie. I was one of the ones who had messaged you on your blog about the Skinceuticals C E Ferulic Serum. I'm late to the party about how much this seemed to work for me even though it was just a small sample bottle! But, because of the hefty price tag, I wanted to come to the expert about alternatives, and you gave me some good ones! I am ordering the Timeless option today to give that a try. Thank you so much for all your hard work and research, and for sharing it with your viewers!
THIS WAS SO HELPFUL! I'm 22 and I'm a freak about using good skincare early so I don't get wrinkled (I know, I'm crazy). The vitamin C serum I've been using never changes color--which has been confusing to me because so many people on RUclips talk about their vitamin C serum turning orange so now I know I should switch to something better.
It’s very smart that you are concerned your skincare at such a young age. I didn’t get serious about it until 5 years ago when I was in my early 50’s. My skin looks great today but I really wish I would’ve started earlier.
@@AngieHotandFlashy Angie, have you ever eased this Timeless 25% to under your eyes and on eyelids? It would solve my BIGGEST problems. Didn't you say Vit C comes in from 8-20%? AT least that's what I wrote in my notes from your lesson/class/invaluable info video!!! Please let me know. Nadine Baggott did say that it lightens dark circles, and takes away crepey skin on lids. SO I kept this info in back of my head til I could ask you. 25% that I'm about to order is pretty powerful, right? So we all should ease slowly into it, I imagine.
@@stephaniemarkovic4576 Did it keep fresh? I loved the 4 oz blue bottle of Vitamin C and kept it in the fridge without a problem. I don't want a pump :-)
@@eaglechick22 you know I don't keep mine in the fridge so maybe that would help. I just feel like if I have to tromp downstairs everyday I won't end up using it
I just ordered the Timeless vitamin c, Thank you for doing all the research.. I'm hoping I can repair the problem areas of my skin. I used your code and got 5 bucks off 🙋♀️
Just received my Timeless serum! Can’t wait to try it. As an RN I’m thrilled to hear that you do your research so I don’t have to! 🙏 Thank you so much for this video.
I mix the Ordinary 23% L-Ascorbic Acid + the Ferulic Acid and Resveratrol + a touch of CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion (which has both vitamin E and water in it, so the grittiness of the l-scorbic acid powder dissolves immediately). So basically I mix 3 cheap but functional products and I'm able to get a high end feeling result, so i'm happy with it for now. I'm gonna try the Ordinary L-Ascorbic acid powder next, since I can add a higher concentration of vit C and then cut it with the ferulic acid and the moisturiser. It's amazing to me that with a bit of chemistry and mixing ingredients, you can basically get the results of a high end product for like 20 bucks.
What an awesome topic! There are so many different vitamin C’s out there and it can get so confusing I have used l-asorbic acid and definitely think it works However I have use Tetrahexydecyl as well and loved it. I figure I go back and forth between the two and hope they will compliment each other Thank you for another great video 💕
You're a life saver tbh...i'm 18 and i have had acne issues for some time and when it cleared i was left with spots ,scars and discoloration and i'm so tired of wasting all my money on useless products which are hella expensive and do nothing..Thanks so much.
Thank You Angie! I just placed an order for my Tretinoin cream at Cureology and listed you who I heard it from...You are so informative about the products that now I just go by your recommendations alone😁. So far you have given me my Mineral SPF50, My new Holy Grail Foundation with Chanel and SPF eyecream!!! I am a fan😊
@@daisyhoffman8435 I'm curious, too. I stopped ALL eyecreams, even tho my eyes are my only problem. Dark circles Under and crepey hooded eyes Above. I've instead implemented ALL products from my face to my eyes!!!! Yes, I NEVER found any creams all the way up to $195 for an eye cream and used til it was completely gone. Nothing worked. Now...I'm buying Timeless Vit C and GRADUALLY gonna work it up to my eyes! Experts say Vit C will fix all problems. We shall see. I even use my Tretinoin on my eyes. So far, they look the same. But no bad reaction.
Just ordered the Timeless Vitamin C! Soo excited to try it, hoping it’s promising for my skin 💛✨ used your discount code and saved my self $5!!! AMAZING, the cost equaled out to be the same as the vitamin c serum I’m using currently, and I can already tell the Timeless one is soo much better! THANK YOU 🙏🏼❤️
Thanks, Angie, for doing all this research and sharing it with us. You break things down so simply and succinctly! I want better skin as I age, but I'm too busy, confused (and bored, frankly) to do the research. Whenever I have a skincare or makeup question, I turn to you first. If it passes the Angie test, it's good by me!
Good morning! I'm waiting for all my serums to come in the mail lol but question.... I'm 43 and am wondering if there is a machine that is cheaper that works other than nuface? My eye wrinkles are what's making me crazy. Thanks in advance!!;) Love your videos
Just bought the timeless vit. C. There are a few codes to use so I used yours and I have an app that searches codes.. I ended up getting two bottles for $38. I find that a GREAT deal!! Thank you Angie for the recommendation! I hope it works for me as it has for you!!!
I love your videos. I am learning so much! I am a VERY late starter in learning about skin care and am almost completely ignorant. I feel I can trust what you are saying because you have the knowledge to back it up. Thank you!
@@AngieHotandFlashy Angie...Nadine Baggot just said the same thing about Timeless Vit C. Say it's great. She uses Skinceuticals but she can afford it. We are using Timeless which is what she says is the next best thing! I watched her video twice! I didn't order anything til I went looking for your videos and you popped right up about Vit C's. I wrote another review above somewhere, but I LOVE reading the reviews from all YOUR fans. They don't know you, some of them, as we others do. I've watched you from the beginning. LOVE watching what you eat, btw. Hence, I didn't want to like you straight on as you were too ...everything, but it's because you care so much and you would never lead any of us astray or put anything on your channel that isn't the best that you know. I've at times disagreed with you about certain makeup tutorials, and told you so. I have to get my opinion in! But you are one of the kindest people I have ever virtually known! You are a true sweetheart! I hate when someone says anything like the guy up above. Maybe he's a chemist, for all we know. But he doesn't know you like we do. And when he comes out with his products and you like them, then we will all use them too, but only if you like them! Thanks!
Wow what a fab informative video. I've seen videos recommending products with no scientific explanation and I've seen scientific explanations of which ingredients are best but no product examples. This is the only one that I've come across that does both and you show us a range of pricing options. Gold star Angie.
My intention was to purchase a Vit C this past week because I do believe the bottle I have had oxidized. I'm not happy with the brand anyway so I was going to check out Timeless. I'm glad I watched this video. I for sure ordered the Timeless one. Thank you Angie!
I have been using Natural Earth Laboratories Vitamin C serum (SAP sodium ascorbyl phosphate) daily for 4 years - a raised keloid scar I’ve had since 18 disappeared after year 3 (am 50) - I thought I’d have that scar for life! It was a pain to cover with make up so I was delighted. I have oily, rosacea skin and SAP works well for me - l-ascorbic acid stings my skin too much, sadly.
Trying Revision with Tetrahexydecyl so we will see how that goes. I also used Truth Treatments that also have the Tetrahexydecyl and it did amazing things without any harsh reactions. Thank you, great video.
Vivian Taunton I love Truth Treatments... I just started using about 2 to 3 months ago... the best products out there!... totally transformed my skin, already!... not an easy task at 63 yo!... unbelievable!...👍👍👍👍👍
I'm 65 (pic in thumbnail) and have been watching Angie for years. She gets younger and younger looking, and so do I as I follow her skincare routine. I completely trust her product reviews .
Just ordered timeless! Hope you get Commission from code, you deserve it with all your hard research 💪 I've been wanting a complete understanding of vit c and you sure delivered!! Thank you Angie ♥ 💕 🤗
I am trying to decide to buy Vita C (Timeless) or Lactic Acid (the ordinary). I am 72 with sensitive skin, who has not ever used anything but foundation, cleanser, and moisturizer. I used Mary Kay cosmetics for years. About 3 years ago I started usingEvan Healy to use cleaner ingredients. This past summer I started watching You Tube because my skin was really showing my age. I started buying things people mentioned. I am using Hyaluronic acid serum and Mad Hippie Alpha Hydroxing Acid, and EltaMD sunscreen. I am ready to add something but not everything at once. It is confusing to know what to do as well as expensive. I have listened to your morning and evening skin care. If you want to suggest something else for me to start out with that would be great. Thank you for all your well informative and scientific information .
Hi Carolyn~ Since you're already using an Alpha Hydroxy Acid you don't really need the Lactic Acid (which is an AHA), so go with the Timeless Vitamin C serum! xo ~a.
Hello Angie! I was thinking.... how do the ph levels in our skin effect the way the vitamin c works with our skin? Does it change ph in bit C? Or skin? Trying to pick the best choice for me 😀
Hi Angie! Question: Do you by any chance have a video for how to combat dark circles and bags under the eyes? Is there any serum that can help? Vitamin to take? Thank you for all of your wonderful research & info! 😊
Angie!!! This video was one of, if not THE MOST HELPFUL VIDEO, ever. I am literally trying to find new products to add to my skin care collection. I thought I was set on murad for most of all of it, then I started watching so many videos and people would say their favorites but not break it down in this matter. I wish you could make a video like this in every category of skin care that's needed bc man this was very insightful. And I know now which vitamin C I'm going to try! Now I just need to find a retional for my wrinkles, and hydrating something or other, and possible a treatment or two, and a moisturizer. Thank you SO much for this amazing video!!!!!!!
Hi Angie. I’ve been using the Timeless on yr recommendation for 2yrs and love the difference in my skin. I keep mine in the fridge and it never oxidises now. Angie, what do you think about the plastic container? This worries me as it leaches out oestrogen. I really hope they change it back, and maybe instruct to keep refrigerated. I may still use it but decanter into its old bottle which I’ve kept. Sending you sunshine from Oz xx🙃🌺🥂
Daniella Hi I’m also in Australia. I would never buy actives especially Vitamin C from US Because of the shelf life. So I’m always stuck with Paula’s Choice Australia...their C15 works great too. It’s always in my fridge especially in this heat.
Sharon John thanks for the info! I stupidly had no idea that you could get Paula’s Choice here in Australia. I’ve used the Drunk Elephant C Firma a few times but wasn’t overly impressed for the price
Can't wait to watch this tomorrow! I'm too tired tonight. I religiously use Skinceuticals CE feurlic (probably spelled that wrong) but with major income decrease from Covid, I need to find something comparable that is not so ridiculously expensive. I love how the product makes my face feel so moist and sticky all day. Hoping another Vitamin C out there also does this.
i love these videos, they are so informative. Angie over the years I have purchased many products, such as the Timeless Ferulic Acid and have never looked back. I noticed the changes in skin, my hands, neck and chest area. I will keep purchasing it. Love your videos.
priscilaa_23x Hi! I have used Skinceuticals with C E Ferulic and I would say that Timeless is good. Timeless evened and brightened my skin, however at a slower rate than skinceuticals. Timeless is definitely an active form of vitamin C, it is potent. I can attest to its potency because a month after I bought it I did an exfoliating treatment with a scrub and after I should have used a moisturizer but instead I put on the Timeless C and that vitamin C stung! It is the real deal. I will purchase again because it’s so inexpensive for a very clean and real form of C. The skinceuticals is absolutely amazing so I do think the rusults are worth it, you get what you pay for $166. Timeless being under $30, it is potent for what you pay for, and very clean ingredients and is the one I’m use for now.
I was surprised to see that Ole Henriksen truth serum was not on your list because I've had amazing results with it. I'll have to go check the ingredients on it. It is in an Airless pump but it is not in a dark bottle it's in a orange bottle. I've tried quite a few of the Amazon vitamin C serums and, as a severely fragrant sensitive person, was not happy with the smell of them, but I love the smell of truth serum. I was also happily surprised to see that Timeless now comes in an Airless pump! Bravo! I may be switching back to Timeless now!
Thank you so much for taking the guesswork out of skincare for me! I truly appreciate all of the research that you do. I love all of the products I have purchased on your recommendations. 💐
I tried one of the anhydrous vitamin c products but I found that the silicone base formed an impermeable layer on my skin which kept the other products I added on top from absorbing into my skin. Now that Timeless has theirs in an airless pump bottle, I'm sticking with it! 😊
Hi Angie, Love your videos. Do you have a skincare routine for your daughter? I am sure she will have great skin because of all that she has learned from you. I’d love to be able to help my daughters preserve their glowing, lovely skin. I’m sure we all wish we had started protecting our skin earlier. Go Gators!
VERY informative! Felt like I was in chemistry class, and that's a GOOD thing! Thank You! Your natural look today is gorgeous and so healthy looking💕💕💕
If you haven't already, check out Dr. Youn, he's a holistic cosmetic surgeon and has a channel here. He just did an AM and PM skincare video, also, he has stated that ingesting collagen has been shown (in research) to improve aging skin.
OUTSTANDING review. You do the actual research and that is much appreciated. I do take slight issue with you on Vitamin C Ester in the PERRICONE MD line. Perricone has been a skin care pioneer from the beginning. Their vitamin C products-- and especially the Perricone MD *Concentrated Restorative Treatment* -- is potent, powerful and amazingly effective for my dry skin. I have used it for years. It does everything that Vit C is supposed to do and I see results almost instantly. It contains Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C Ester), Glycolic Acid, and DMAE. That said, it is NOT cheap and has a long list of other ingredients. I have tried ALL range of Vit. C products and find that Perricone MD is always cheaper in the long run for the powerful results it delivers. But I AM going to try the Timeless 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum that you recommend. I do hope it works as it will save quite a bit of money.
I bounce around between the glow maker, the timeless and the skinceuticals. There's another product from drmtlgy that I hear is the 100% DUPE to the skinceuticals. I'm going to try it next. I just purchased the new pump from timeless. Thank you for $5 off!
I think Master Esthetician Penny Smith offers a discount code for 20% off the one you plan to try next on her Vitamin C video she posted on January 4th on choosing the right type of Vitamin C for your skin concerns. Do you watch her videos? She offers a wealth of knowledge on her channel and she's a joy to watch! Her channel is PENN.SMITH SKINCARE LLC.
@@tamiibarra3027 Rude to say this on Angie's channel, but thanks to Trump, we can say anything we want. Right? It's okay. I've stuck my foot in my mouth before online! And regretted it! Just wanted to say this. Don't feel bad.
CE ferulic has an unreal price. As a retired compounding pharmacist we actually made a version of this. The Timeless price is a much more realistic price. The Timeless bottle probably costs more than the actual serum ingredients. And the Timeless also has HA and panthenol as well! (Dr Dray did a video on panthenol being a great product to help with smoothing the complexion.)
When I tell my daughter or friends about what skincare I use, I tell them I do what Angie does because she studies everything and her Dad is a chemist!! Lol

For the maturing skin Retina is the only one that really truly works along with Moisturizer and Sunscreen. There is no long standing studies on anyone of these serums.
I am so impressed on how knowledgeable you are on this confusing topic. You even knew how to pronounce all of the long and complicated names! I went ahead and purchased one of your recommended serums getting $5 off with your promo code. I hope it works. I will turn the big 6-0 in a month’s time!
This is such perfect timing because I was saving up for the skinceuticals and decided to give the Timeless one a try instead!!! Thank you and for the code as well. Do you use it?
Vanessa Leonard She does! If you watch her morning routine videos, she bounces back & forth between Timeless, Maelove, & the Skinceuticals brands. But I believe she uses the Timeless brand the most.
Save yourself time and get the Timeless one. Goes on great, very reasonably priced and they deliver quickly without a huge delivery fee (or any as I recall). I’ve had to lay off Vit C for a few weeks due to a skin treatment I was getting, and the Timeless is still lasting. A suggestion, I don’t put it on my counter where light can hit it. I put it in my medicine cabinet where it’s dark.

🍁🍁 Hi just to share... in Canada we can get *The Ordinary L-Absorbic Acid Powder* and mix yourself each time you use w/h i.e. *Resveratol + Folic Acid* {it's a waterless antioxidant formula that I adore on its own or w/h this powder}. There are *many* choices, that are so very compatible, to mix it with & all have been tested/reviewed by The Ordinary. This also includes mixing it with their, 'already' fabulous, *Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF)* face moisturizer. I promise it is easy, I find the storefront personnel are a great help. In addition, I have easily connected via online, with The Ordinary head office professionals to ask anything. This is truly 'our' more economical way to acquire this type of Vit C I feel.
Could you direct me to who she suggests we use the Timeless Vit C? I just bought one with her discount code, but am unsure on how to apply it? Alone or mixed in with my moisturizer?

Mona what brands?
@@rociomunozreguera7923 The Ordinary
Thank you Pam!!
@@AngieHotandFlashy you're a fraud or just very stupid.

Can i ask whats your skin care routine? Need your tips
Hi Angie. I just wanted to say thanks for all the input. I went to the dermatologist and they said I had great skin. I'm 37 but you've helped me out a lot. I just wanted to say thanks for all the help.
Great video 💜
Stability is a factor, yes, but THD is oil soluble so penetrating the lipid barrier is likely better :). Something to consider IMO.
Agreed that there needs to be more studies on the esters but there is some great value in both SAP and MAP for acne and also for pigment. As well as THD due to penetration potential 🙂
Love the Paula’s choice as long as the user doesn’t have fungal acne. The oil in that one could be very problematic. Otherwise it’s practically perfect.
Ferulic Acid is slightly yellow (very very slight) so I am ok if my vitamin C is ever so *slightly* yellow to start.
Fantastic video Angie!!
Love your channel 💜
Lucky you that your Dad’s a chemist!
Mary Salhanick I noticed that my maelove is now a mid-tone yellow after 1 1/2 months, also I keep it in the refrigerator. 🤷🏻♀️ Think I’ll try Timeless next time.
I have been using Peter Thomas Roth THD in oil solution, and I love it. Is this a good product?
Erin C I use the timeless since October...how many times do you use it ? Every day ? Twice a day ? Thank you for your reply
Isabelle Boisson every day in the morning. I do glycolic or Retin A at night.
Pauline Dengler what difference did you ser the first week? and what difference did you see now?
priscilaa_23x Hi Priscilla I don’t know if I noticed a huge difference the first week except my skin felt so much softer and not as dry. Over the course of the past few months I have notice my skin is brighter, my pores are smaller and the overall texture has improve. I have tried many vitamin C serums and like this the best.
Pauline Dengler Thank you! 😊 hoping it’ll give me great results as it did for you!
Just ordered timeless with your code. All i wanted was something with vitamin c and SPF and almost went with SuperGoop until another RUclipsr mentioned that the vitamic c wasnt active in it. So now I'm doing timeless serum with a separate spf afterwards!
I absolutely love the Sunday Riley CEO Vitamin C + Tumeric oil!
I’ve been using the Timeless for about 3 years now. I’m shocked at what a difference it’s made for the back of my hands! Love it 🙂
I need to try this for the back of my hands, thanks!
Melody agreed and chest! I love it.
Melody
Can you please tell what exactly it actually done to you hands??
I bought this too. How do you use yours? Am or pm?
I've tried both Timeless and the Ordinary and it's hands-down Timeless for my vitamin C. With Timeless it just goes to show the product does not have to be the most expensive to be the best.
Totally agree . I tried to the ethylated 12% from the ordinary and am now back to the timeless serum
Beverly Collins thank u for ur feedback! To me this information is just as important and helpful as angie’s reviews!!!

I use the Beauty Pie Vitamin C Capsules and The ordinary Resveratrol and Ferulic acid serum and it works beautifully and it's very affordable.
I just buy what you tell me to buy. My Timeless order arrived yesterday.
Love it!
I do like the new packaging of the Timeless, but my first thought is I can't split it. I hope it stays fresh Angie!

I’ve been using Timeless vitamin C, and love it! Been using it for almost a year now, and noticing awesome results. Thanks for the recommendation 😉

fullpinklips01 do you use it in the morning ? or at night like how they recommend?
Just received my Timeless serum! Can’t wait to try it. As an RN I’m thrilled to hear that you do your research so I don’t have to! 🙏 Thank you so much for this video.
Love that your dad can test these products for you. Have great faith that your recommendations come with some expertise. Thanks Angie.
There are so many different vitamin C’s out there and it can get so confusing
I have used l-asorbic acid and definitely think it works
However I have use Tetrahexydecyl as well and loved it.
I figure I go back and forth between the two and hope they will compliment each other
Thank you for another great video 💕

I have been using Natural Earth Laboratories Vitamin C serum (SAP sodium ascorbyl phosphate) daily for 4 years - a raised keloid scar I’ve had since 18 disappeared after year 3 (am 50) - I thought I’d have that scar for life! It was a pain to cover with make up so I was delighted. I have oily, rosacea skin and SAP works well for me - l-ascorbic acid stings my skin too much, sadly.

Hi Carolyn~ Since you're already using an Alpha Hydroxy Acid you don't really need the Lactic Acid (which is an AHA), so go with the Timeless Vitamin C serum! xo ~a.

They actually do have it on their site to put in the fridge. I do agree i rather the dropper!
Tracey Higgins hi. I’m also in Australia. Do you find that the timeless is fresh when it arrives?
I'm kinda wondering if I should just get the maelove vitamin c I'm a bit skeptical about the new bottle for timeless

Gemini Flower Results?
priscilaa_23x Hi!

Am so glad you have a chemist dad :), grandpa is so helpful to all of us
I tried one of the anhydrous vitamin c products but I found that the silicone base formed an impermeable layer on my skin which kept the other products I added on top from absorbing into my skin. Now that Timeless has theirs in an airless pump bottle, I'm sticking with it! 😊

As always, you are the most informative person out there. I appreciate your research. Best.

P.S. thanks Angie for the rec!
I'm surprised about the CeraVe! Thank you (and your dad!) for finding that out for us. Great video!

@@fideliaanderson5268 Hi, it's the CeraVe vitamin C Angie mentions @16:30. I was surprised because I trust CeraVe products. But apparently their vitamin C it's not formulated at the right PH.
Thank you so much for answering my question.
@@sabrinarojas4796 This is so sad. I purchased CeraVe Vit C because it checked the boxes, but I didn't realize the ph was too high. I just ordered the Timeless Vit C so I will switch when the Timeless arrives. What a waste! Makes me wonder about the other CeraVe products.
@@joannehamilton2426 how is timeless???I wanna order but still confirming?? Is it working well??
Thanks for sharing this-quite well explained! I am still new to understanding the ingredients so how would recommend Perricone MD
Vitamin C Ester CCC+ Ferulic Brightening Complex 20%. and how would you compare it to Skin Ceuticals CEFerulic? I want to buy one to brighten my skin. all help would be appreciated!
Awesome job Angie, thank you! Love the fact I don't have to spend almost 200.00 in Canada for this in order to get the right ingredients. :)
Thanks so much! I was wondering whether to try and order Timeless or try the Ordinary.
Just ordered my Timeless Vit C . I have seen such a difference in my skin since following your recommendations. Thank you for another great video.
Could you direct me to who she suggests we use the Timeless Vit C? I just bought one with her discount code, but am unsure on how to apply it? Alone or mixed in with my moisturizer?
Just ordered the Timeless C
Thank you, Angie!!!
Tiffany Lesser Results?
I ran across this video trying to get educated about my skin and you made it so simple. I ordered the vitamin C from timeless I will definitely let you know how I like the product.
This is awesome thank you!! I went and grabbed what I thought was my vitamin c serum and turns out it doesn’t even list the ascorbic acid!! And had citrus fragrance added!! Definitely ordering from your recommendations!
Oh no! That just makes me mad!! So happy my video helped you get a product that will work!

Ah, live and learn! Some manufacturers should be ashamed of themselves, though, for downright trying to deceive us 😒
I adore DermaE vitaminC and hyluronic acid serum.Amazing stuff but hard to get. They are always sold out. Great products with none of the bad stuff.
Can you review the Mario Badescu vitamin C serum? It's a best seller at ULTA, so a lot of people are using it. I've been using it for years. I really like it, but I'm curious if it checks all the boxes on your list.
Hands down, this is the BEST explanation of Vitamin C serum. I'm going to use your code to get that Timeless serum!!! Thank you so so much!
