Aloy is a crucial character to me. When I go through my characters and equipment from left to right, when I see her I know that from there on are the characters I'm not interested in.

Honestly, Mika isn’t even used in physical teams. I’ve mostly been seeing him as the healer for Wriothesley freeze teams as a Furina healer. So his BiS team isn’t even the teams he was made for.

I wish they gave him an ATK buff + Physical DMG just so Wanderer and Wriothesley would gain something from him. He would be like Sara BUT ACTUALLY GOOD. Hopefully we'll get a buffing polearm at some point because Hoyo LOVES their damage buffing swords a bit too much at this point 😭

Maybe it's because I was lucky enough to C6 her, but I don't think Charlotte's "forgettable" or even a bad unit. She works great with my Furina + Neuvilette team, her Cryo application is easy to use, AND with Favonius Codex, her burst is very consistent.
It also depends on what factors you're considering when saying "forgettable"/"forgotten."
Example- Charlotte hasn't been on a banner for months, but she shows up in-game + events A LOT. Even if you don't have her, you're constantly reminded that she exists.
Kaveh is another example. Until recently, Kaveh's abscence from banners was a meme. And as far as meta is considered, he's very clunky to use (esp if you don't have Nilou.) But goddamn if the game and the fandom don't love him to bits and won't let you forget him.
And then there's characters like Albedo. If you don't count Chronicled Wish, he hasn't had his own rerun in forever. And he had big events dedicated to his own story, only for that to be unaddressed for more than a year. And his best weapon is event-exclusice. Hell, Albedo himself has only showed up for minor speaking rolls for months now.
Then when you consider that he's basically been power crept by Chiori...Wow Albedo fans have had a hard time recently.
The standard 5-stars have also been bemoaned as "forgotten" by their fans due to them not being "meta" and Hoyo not giving them a lot of content. When was the last time Diluc had major focus? Or Keqing?
It's a given that gacha games will have a bunch of forgotten characters. But in Genshin in particular, it sucks to have a character who is forgotten because of power creep AND Hoyo's poor handling of screen time.
I genuinely don't know why sigewinne exists,she dosent really serve much purpose at c0 and other characters offer more utility than her
I use her all the time. She is basically irreplaceable on my account with furina
C6/r5 Klee, C6 Diona, C6/R5 Sigewenne and c2 Furina crushes everything

I'm certain Sethos is more forgettable than all of them.
Whenever someone uses character use as a meta tier list I just show them Swiegwinnes 16% use rate which is over (Fischl, Kokomi, and Chevreuse).
Yeah I use her al the time, she’s so good with furina
16% just means 6 people total pulled her and 1 of them actually uses her.
that means nothing, it only accounts for people who have AND use the character. in reality its much much lower than that since Sigewinne is one of the least pulled on units in the game

Heizou is my top forgettable character. I didn't even remember he existed until a week ago.
Aloy is by far the most misfortune character in the whole game. Even more than Albedo and every single other cryo character in the game.
Don't try to change my mind. At this point i just feel bad for her.

Another problem with Charlotte is that she is also the last remaining 4* that has yet to rerun on a banner next to sethos and knowing how ass it is to get a specific 4* you want there is probably a lot of people who pulled Furnina didn’t get charlotte and then stopped pulling on the banner.
To me, Charlotte isn't forgettable. I mean, for God's sake, she's on my Hu Tao-Furina team and she does a decent job.
She's the best substitute for Baizhu in Neuvilette's best team, as well.
I mean, pre-Xilonen, that is.
If you don't have Jean or baizhu then sure she has a decent role. but she will be replaced the second you get a better healer. This gap will only grow when Xilonen releases

For real! Before i built my Jean for Furina, charlotte had been doing a decent job as my team healer even with Er, cryo crit. Plus she's cute. Lol. Cryo yanfei is what i used to call her when she first made an appearance on that teyvatwide tcg event.

I prefer Charlotte over Jean, maybe because I have c6 lol, but Charlotte performs better for me than Jean, since at c6 her cryo application is there all the time off field. Enabling a lot of reactions. I don't think there's a better off field cryo applicator in the game. Her only problem is that she's cryo, and I agree that cryo as a whole is completely forgettable lmao
Do not compare Sigewinne to Kokomi. Along with Baizhu, she's one of the only other character that can Party Heal with their E skill. Granted you need to hit an opponent for that but that means she doesn't rely on her burst to support Furina to party-heal. Kokomi relies on her Burst to do party heal and she has to stay on the field to heal everyone further, much like Qiqi is. Sigewinne is weaker than Kokomi for the freeze team though since her AoE is almost non-existent.

3:41, I'm crying, her burst nuke deals less damage than fucking 1 of my DPS Layla's Burst stars. My Layla does 30k damage per star when Kazuha buffed.
Ao they are the vw beetle of genshin except the beetle is the most produced car in the world...ppl say they work well on teams today. Maybe it just took longer for them to find their inner dune buggy.
I'm the type of person who levels every character and plays with them until they are friendship level 10. charlotte is one of the 2 characters i didnt bother with even getting subpar artifacts. i just throw her in the teapot and called it a day.
So, even though I use him on my Eula team and I'm not sure entirely why he doesn't buff physical dps that much, I'm gonna add insult to injury in how forgettable Mika is. He's so forgettable, that Mihoyo forgot to actually have him premiere on a banner with a 5-star that could benefit from his buff. Mika came out during a Shenhe and Ayaka banner and last I checked, neither of those units focus on Physical dmg. Could you argue that he was on the banner because he's a Cryo character? No, because Diona can do what he does, and then some, and she's been in the game since forever (hell, even Layla would be a better pick).
As a charlotte simp, cryo units getting the kaveh treatment is painful. Lol. I wany her cons so bad.

It's insane to me Sigewinne beat the standard banner allegations. Everyone thought she was gonna be there looking at her kit in the betas and then she just wasn't. She could've been a really interesting one too sadly
in my personal experience, Charlotte not getting a rerun made her far more forgettable than the fact that she was on Furina's Banner,
Her being on Furina's Banner was essentially the game showing you that Charlotte as a healer on Furina teams can be pretty good which makes her memorable for me. Also, I'd say she's better than Qiqi because she suffers from 1/8 of the ER issues Qiqi has, she has ER cons and her skill does generate particles and doesn't have a 30 second cooldown.
The team I usually use Charlotte on is a pretty off meta team of, Heizou, Furina, Charlotte and Faruzan. Just keep in mind that even though I saw off meta, it's not low cost, Heizou(who hasn't made and appearance in a year) is C6, and Faruzan too, Charlotte is C4 and Furina is C0.
I have to say, Charlotte's problem is the healer competition, 80 energy cost burst it's too painful, and being cryo is and issue. At the time it made sense for her in Furina's banner becuase her massive healing burst, but in an advanced state she has to compete with healers like Diona, Qiqi, Kokomi, Baizhu, Jean and Xianyun (VV and healing is op). I like Charlotte, but even I know she can be forgettable.

it was just that the western playerbase at the time were much more susceptible to big whale screenshots
How to play aloy:
Step 1: use hit box conner strat to get 3 bomb to proc
Step 2: pray that the enemy step into the 4th bomb
Honestly the story behind why Aloy is even in the game is probably the best part of her existence
Like as they had an exclusive deal with Sony/PlayStation and Sony wanted to make claim to this game they forced the devs to put in a character (and they choose Aloy for some reason, i am legit confused about that) and as she was basically a nothing character that the devs just put in and forgot about because who cares
I will always remember Sigewinne as the character I got 2 copies of in one pull
Also I personally find Sethos and Sayu more forgettable than Charlotte

I don’t really agree with Charlotte, besides her strong presence on the archon quest her burst heal is a very budget friendly team wide healer, one of the few 4 stars that can do that. Coming out with Furina made her a good budget healer for many.

I have to disagree when you say that Charlotte was released at an inopportune time, since Furina wants bursts of group wide healing to quickly gain Fanfare stacks and Charlotte provided exactly that. Notably, she’s one of two Cryo healers who can do this (the other being Mika, funnily enough), and combined with her rapid Cryo application as a Cryo Catalyst user, this makes Charlotte a workable teammate if you want to play a Freeze team with Furina.
Really, the only reason she’s forgotten is because she hasn’t returned on a banner since her debut in 4.2 (a recurring trend for Cryo characters), and compared to her fellow Fontaine 4 stars, she has neither the important connections of Lynette and Freminet nor the game changing strength of Chevreuse to help her stand out.

I disagree with you saying Charlotte was released at an inopportune time, but I do agree with you saying that she is forgettable. I also believe that there are other factors contributing to that forgettability that you didn’t touch on.

I love Sigewinne! She buffs her own damage for 8% - but she doubles Furinas output! She gives a Shenhe-like buff for Off-Field-Skils and has a teamwide heal on E.. Thats not bad! And my DPS Sigwinne drops 50k per Q tick. She is underrated.
Sigewinne could get a rerun next patch and she would still have the lowest ownership of any character 🫢
And one of the highest used. 16% usage rate is higher than those lane four stars people always harp on about
