It saddens me to see so many of our own citizens can’t find work, shelter, kids and families without food. But yet our government spends millions of taxpayer dollars on illegals. It’s great to help others but help our citizens first before helping others.

Saw on tv this retired veteran that now is homeless. He had a room that he paid $600 for a long time. The owner just sold and the new owner raised his rent to $1000. That his pension so he would have nothing. He doesn’t have a car to live in. This is an American a retired veteran who fought for the freedom we enjoy. Why can the government help these veterans to get 5 star hotel food housing cable iphone etc. Why do our people when others are treated like royalty. These people have done nothing to help our country. Why can Biden do better. Trump started the wall and Biden put and end to it. What kind of an American is this. He ruining our country. We knew this day would come. That’s why the city gets for saying all immigrants were welcome. I’m not against immigrant I’m one, but I went to all the steps to make it right, spent lots of money to keep my visa on , school, never had helped and it’s sad that those immigrant chose the easier way and wants to get everything from the government. Ny is one of the most expensive cities in the world, locals are struggling to survive imagine the ones who are coming with zero money on their pockets. Almost impossible to succeed.

DocGo is paying hotels, motels, $350. a day per migrant. Who gets the money when they get kicked to the curb? There isn't any need to take up a collection or donations. All of their expenses are paid in full. If communities want to Donate and take up collections, give the help to our Homeless Americans, our Poor Americans and our American Veterans!

USA citizens should always come first….The migrant’s home country should be contacted for support for each individual….Period! The deportation process needs to start immediately. Thank you all for your prayers, and for inviting us here we're OK, as soon as we got off the bus they gave us room in Roosevelt hotel with room service . The food is great and we can't wait till our free doctor visit. It took us only a week and a half to get here , and I want a doctor to check my 3 kids after that horrible plane flight and a bus ride. I had a co worker once tell me about a time where they had to stay at a shelter. This is a citizen who went to school and everything. But like most of us living paycheck to paycheck. He couldn’t afford rent and had to seek shelter. He described it as a bunch of beds, tons of other single men and dirty bathrooms. This was in 2006. So…..why exactly would the migrants expect any different? Our shelters BEEN like this for single men. Why would it be any different for migrants ?

I am a military veteran with service in afghanistan and iraq as a frontline soldier. I left the military almost 20 years ago and I have never received anything from the government much less anything that I qualify for but didnt know I did. I became homeless among other issues and never received a dime much less a bowl of soup.

There is help available if you're low income you should qualify for free medical and medicine at the VA. Go see the social worker ask for a clothes vocher. Next go to to the homeless clinic. If you're disabled see the disability consular ask about service commented or non service connected benefits. I currently recieve a non service connected pension.
It helps when i see an American flag. My blood boils when i see flags from other country's flying high in my own free country.
