Amazing value for the performance look and adjust-ability of this post. I bought a 150 for my girlfriends bike and it's just a bit too long this saved me from having to buy another post
Nice video. Clear audio visual and gets right to the point and i like that trick of getting the white shim up, since that is what i was having trouble with. However, theres supposed to be a machined indent that allows you to pull the shim up with your thumb but it is subtle if youre not looking for it.
Excellent video. I changed the drop on my post a bit after watching this. It's a great post, but I just wanted a little less at full extension. I was surprised at the range of adjustability and now have my setup dialed in perfectly. If you hadn't demonstrated the truck for removing the white adjustable collar, I probably would have fought with this and maybe damaged it. Thank you.
Thanks for the great video! I have a 2022 T7 Polygon and the Entity dropper post is just a bit to high but I can not adjust the travel any lower. The dropper post I have features 150mm (S-M) / 170mm (L-XL). Will the PNW Loam Dropper Seat post be a good replacement to fix my height adjustment? or would you recommend something different?
It's a little easier if the post is out but it's just a rubber band so you can remove the seat and pull it over the head of the seat post just fine. No full removal is required. It does fit inside a tight channel so use a small pick to pull it out for removal.
It comes at the length you choose, 150, 170, etc… Then you can make adjustments to reduce the travel in 5 mm increments. For example if you have a 150 you can change it to 145, 140, 135, 130, 125. This is so that if you find the 150 is just slightly too tall for you when you fully insert.

Slick design PNW has. Thanks for showing it off!
I’ve watched a good number of videos on the loam and yours is the first to mention that tip of rising the post to lift the collar. Awesome tip!
Finally a video that explains this feature in a way that I can understand lol. Thanks brother
Well thanks man, I didn't know what I was getting into when I unscrewed the cap. This was helpful.

Glad my trick helped you out. I'm a fan of this seatpost 👍
@@rgmtb actually I found the thumb cutout on my post, does yours have one? Makes it super easy to pull the shim up
@@prudentiaski I tried that a few times and just had a tough time using it.
Good video. They make it easy to adjust the travel for sure! Great for different size bikes, or different type of riding. Great design PNW!

How can you change the silicone band? Do you have to remove the whole dropper post?

Damn. So it only goes down. How does it come stock? All the way up or all the way down?

Can you shorten the full length extended? I need 190 not 200.
That's a 150mm?
