Concerning the media/TV solution - I appreciate the height, as I think some are too low, but the flip side to that is its relatively small size. That particular TV looks like it's about 40-42". With a lot of people, or even just a few of you, I would really want at least 55-65". I come from the marine world, and really, the ultimate solution is a projector + large screen where you're now talking about a theater experience.
You know I have never seen you tour a Foretravel. I have looked at some new ones and OMG they look Amazing. Please tour one and tell us what you think of them.
Another winner... Just a note though, the chassis that was shown is the K4 605, not the K3 605 that's under the King Aire. The Spartan K4 chassis is currently only supplied to and used by Foretravel. The K3 is a single top rail chassis, much like a semi truck chassis, whereas, as seen, the K4 has an upper and lower set of chassis rails.
Hi Daniel thanks for your input. You are correct the K3 does get shipped to Newmar with a Single Top Rail, however, Newmar’s Spartan K3 is completely customized. Newmar hired some of the best engineers and put a lot of time and money into making the Spartan K3 more unique than any production coach in the market today. Newmar’s King Aire Spartan K3 is custom built with TOP and LOWER rails as well additional supports you will not see in other chassis’s. Newmar’s K3 is custom built using the “STAR” foundation system developed by Newmar and it really makes it one of smoothest, safest, and easiest handling chassis ever built. Below is a Newmar Link that talks about the STAR foundation a little more in detail. It shows it being put on a Freightliner but the STAR foundation is the same technology used for the King Aire. Thanks again for your input and please don’t hesitate to call me if you have any further questions. Respectfully Lance Ortega (208)290-5750 ruclips.net/video/amakmcQgL5Y/видео.html
@@webuysellrvs correct on all accounts. The "King" Aire is my dream coach!!! Now, if I can just manage to win that Mega Millions jackpot!!!! I was just pointing out that the K4 is built by Spartan with the top and bottom rails from the start, while Newmar makes that addition when they install the STAR foundation. The Foretravel spec K4 chassis also comes with an engine compartment fire suppression system from Fog-Maker; Koni front shocks instead of Bilsteins; but Newmar specifies a 350 amp alternator on their K3, whereas the K4 has a 270 amp one; the K4 Chassis also has a 4 airbag (mounted outside the frame) drive axle suspension system where the K3 uses 2 airbags on the drive axle which are mounted in a standard position underneath the frame rails. Thanks for the reply! I really enjoy all of your videos (and Andrew's) as well as all of the content that Transwest puts out on a regular basis. Keep up the good work!!!! Thanks Lance and Andrew!!!!
It would be nice if you make a video on the construction of the Country Coach, Prevost, Newell and Tiffin or Newmar and the Chassis ( Spartan vs Freightliner) and powerplants ( DEF, Pre DEF and particulate between DEF requirement)
Transwest I really like the King Aire I was wanting to know with a RV at the price of the King Aire do you have to buy it completely, or is there leasing, or renting options which I doubt because of the price, but please let me know would like to know the answer to that great description video.
Hi Joseph, at this time there are no leasing options. Thank you for your interest :) If you get some free time please give me a call to disuss possible options. 208.290.5750
Andrew, outstanding video. Newmar needs to send you a check. I have question. With an RV this great and with so many features what are some reasons a customer would choose a Newell over this Newmar King Aire? That would be a good video as it seems these two models are the best of the best in USA, if I’m not mistaken.
crazy price on this one.... in my end, i go buying those used rv from oregon less than $150k then i will add upgrade slowly in it.... saves a lot of $$$ hahaha
there is no Newmar worth $1.6M, a Foretravel with the K4 chassis is much better built coach for less and, this is not far from the Newells and Prevost conversions. No carpeting in the bays, exposed wiring. You can buy a 1 or 2 year old Newell or Prevost Conversion bus for this kind of money and much happier
Agree with Dean. Even though this is a beautiful coach, the lack of attention to things like wiring and controllers zip-tied to the basement bay wall was a real surprise. And not a good one. As an owner of a 2008 Newmar DP, I find these small things in newer production coaches are a reflection of cost cutting and perhaps the new ownership. For $1.6 million, Newmar should do better. If this is what the designers are willing to let us see, what nightmare is hidden from view? Rant over. Still love to see what Andrew has to show us.
@@thomasjohnson7310 yes, nothing against Andrew one of our favorite entertainment celebrities. Hoping he finds a great deal of a diesel pusher, perhaps another Newell
Big windows are nice, but you loose a lot of cabinet storage and we like to have the windows open when weather permits, which does not seem possible with the bonded in windows. Maybe someone spending $1mio+ does not care.
Who buys these and what for? Do you enjoy driving THAT much? Why not fly to the tourist destinations? You can go to a Hotel where everything is taken care for you. For 1.6m you can probably go on hundreds of vacations. Where do you store this bus? Do you live in it? Do you have a huge house with space to store a BUS? How much is the maintenance on these? This looks like fun until you see the price tag. Then it just seems pointless.
