@@benhoughton6162I saw them in February 2010 at the Tabernacle in Atlanta they played for a little over 2 hours, they played 2 hours and 10 minutes on a 50-minute album because they jammed like no band I've ever seen before in my life, it was one of the most special moments in time I've ever experienced at a concert
These guys are the true spirit of rock. They never lose that sense of groove, grit, and spontaneous expression. I'm late to the wagon ride, but I'm so glad I found these guys.
The standout thing about when you watch Them Crooked Vultures play is that they always, always look like they’re having an absolute blast. This is also a true definition of a supergroup, they are all absolutely KILLING it
My dead end friends taught me so much. I can't figure out how the ones who gave me the most inspiration and support in life are the ones who could never seem to find their way in this world.. I look back in appreciation at the insights they gave to me, but which weren't enough to save themselves.
Holy cow, Josh is the friggin man. When Grohl is your drummer, and Jones is your bass player, you still deliver. Homme has no fear of the coming apocalypse. He's made his peace.
Them Crooked Vultures rocked the Austin City Limits stage for the season finale of season 35. These guys are just a bunch of legends having a blast and making music together, and it really shows in their performance. They are all incredible on their own, but when you see them together, you can tell they’re having so much fun with it. There’s no better way to end the season than with these guys.👍
I was there. It was their first show in the US after their European tour. I won tickets through PBS. I don't even know how I found out about it but I was like 10 feet away from JPJ and they had free beer, it was an amazing time. After the show one of the crew working for ACL said "Don't go to the third floor, their dressing room isn't up there" Me and an older couple walked up there and got stopped by the security outside their door. It was a once in a life time show.
Dave is a MONSTER! Towel please... Leave it to Josh, Alan, Dave, and John to drop wisdom like a riff's Chef’s kiss. Might steal it for my mantra… or my next tattoo. 😏🔥" THANK YOU!
🤘 It's Aug. of '24 and I'm just discovering this band. Very tight w/ a great heavy live sound. Crank'in jam on "Warsaw" (should be played on the airwaves ! ? ? one reason why I've never heard this) . Thanks for posting full show from A.C.L.. , a great venue. You ROCK ON J. P. Jones, keeping it heavy and honest.
@@booitsnick Alain was only an engineer for the album. He was added to the band to help him move forward after Natasha died but the band existed already. The band existed as a birthday present to Dave and they were on interscope to get QotSA out of their record deal.
You can rest your drummers while Sheehan, Satriani & Vai put together a version of Crazy Diamond for Christpher Walken to perform a Solo Qi over for William Shatner to grade on the limerick scale, David.
...and Alain Johannes! 4 legends!
cheers mate, this guy had slipped under my radar! He has very impressive credentials.
alain added so much live, was impressed
Always. Put respect on Alain's name. Living legend that stays under the radar
Alain is a beast!!
I thought the same thing when I heard the presentation.
Standing right in front of John Paul Jones for almost 2hrs watching him play base, was a Mind Eraser, no Chaser....
Bass not base
How could it have been almost 2 hours?

The perfect concert with the 4 best musicians in the world 🙌 ❤
Please legends, one more album 🙏 ❤
Best band any of the members have been in ❤
This band is absolute bullseye of Joshua creativity and genius ideas of 4 Horsemen
That parted the clouds... 🌒💚🌼
Ache for the touch of my dead end friends again

Straight up one of the best bands I've seen live. The vibes we're massively high on the show I attended. Too bad it was a one shot deal.
Been looking for this forever

The way they stay so locked in on Spinning in the Daffodils blows my mind.
The tenacity and brilliance
This band existed only for a short time, but it really deserves it to call it supergroup
Can’t imagine growing up and then playing with your hero in a band super cool
Love them. David Is my hero
This video reminds me of why I love JPJ!
Thanks for posting this one! Just sublime 🔥

Three words, John Paul Jones.
Thank you
First comment, 11th like and insanely early 😊
Absolutely LOVE this band and album. Would love a 2nd one....😢🙏🏻❤️🤘🏻
Man I think we all would but it was mainly done because of what happen with Alan and losing the love of his life
Josh said in the Reddit interview last week that he's up for it but Dave is the boss.
@@LPManic Yeah. I saw that...🤔🤞🏻👍🏻
