I remember finishing a shrine that was in a hidden cave...when I exited the shrine I was hit in my feels entirely with this existential piece of serene music
Same, and that happened to me yesterday lol
The cave near the Great Misko side quest? Because that’s where the song hit me in the feels.
Tbh this is one of my favorite tracks from botw : )))
It is mine
As you exit the ancient shrine behind you, leaving with a blessing of a monk, you feel the cold wind breeze through your hair. You sit down, gazing over the peak, listening to the silence of the world around you. There was still so much for you to do, but you sat down and enjoyed the view, anyway. All around you, you could see towers, glowing blue in the night like a beacon against the sky. It's shocking, you were once atop of each of those once. Reaching at your side, you pull out your Sheikah Slate, and take a picture of the landscape before you, immortalizing this moment.
Woah, "you were once atop of each of those once" really got me... haven't thought of that when I taking the view in from heights...
Then a red beam of light flashes upon you, (guardian theme plays) "CAN YOU SEE I'M TRYING TO TAKE A PICTURE HERE!" you shriek. then you whip out your guardian bow, lined with guardian arrows. You fire right in it's 'eye', destroying the automaton in a single blow. You resume your serenity,(but not after taking the guardian's core (after all, that stasis rune isn't going to upgrade itself!).
I want this but shorter ...
Maybe 5 mins long
Wow, this was incredibly well written. I love how realistic it is, too!
Holly crap man, I didn’t know that a RUclips comment could be this powerful. I’m almost tearing up.....
When i entered in the leviathan cave i, just stare at it,i didn't move for like, 3 minutes.
Same.
Before leaving the cave i did stay for some minutes just to listen to this music
I didn't realize this song was in the game until I went to that cave. I sat there for a whole hour just listening to it before taking the picture.
Song reminds me of
My ex....it hurts to listen to but feels
Sounds dreamish
This is my favorite song.
I don’t know when it became my favorite song, just that it is.
It makes me nostalgic and sad, in a way.
But it also makes me feel at peace.
I wish I could experience this game again for the first time...
But I can’t go back.
Instead, I go to the shrines where this plays and let my memories surround me.
BBG, as for me this is like my shelter song (most of the shrines where this plays are inside a very secret cave). When I feel sad and I need to recover, if life would have OST, this would play.
This is so nostalgic
@@hugoyuugo1300 same
@@hugoyuugo1300 its got a very healing sound, like a cats purring.
It is nostalgic because it's a remix of the Ice Cave theme from Ocarina of Time
"this is the Music that plays when you are lost in your Memorys and think about a world which doesn't exist. It just feels like as if you have really been there " ~some guy on the Internet (2018)
Wow, beautiful words
This song makes me
Think about how she hurt me
Cheated on me
...what i did wrong
What could have been
What ...was.😢
Ded Ender 072 it’s near impossible to take you seriously when you use an emoji
I feel that too
I don't even care about the nature noises. they just add to the effect
Gabe, yes, they truly are welcomed in fact 👍🏽
I had associated this theme with Molli, since the first cave Shrine I found was within the great white "bird" she had told me of. As soon as I noticed it was a test of strength, I left because I didn't think I could fight it with my current weapons, but this began playing. I decided to go back in to fight for her...
And lost, again and again :P I eventually beat it though, and I was glad when I could return to Molli and tell her of the "white bird". I feel bad for her since she's an only child and just spends the whole day sitting out on one of the fly-off things.
Nice
man these are so aesthetic though
Too Late. 4 days later and we are at 1k.
I’ve probably added about 1500 views to this on my own cause this is just my go-to video when I can’t fall asleep, it’s so calming ✨
Jj sounds about right.
If you listen to this every night since Breath of the Wild's release, [March 3rd 2017], you would only add 772 views (which is the number of days it has been released and if you didnt press replay)
sameee
@@AquaFerva2985 lol
Jesus 2 years ago I sounded like a smartass redditor lmao
I must have heard this a couple of times before, but I really noticed how different it was from what I normally heard when I walked into The Spring of Courage. Seeing the ruins, the glimmering statue, the atmosphere, and hearing the light pressing of the keys. The ambience overflowed with this sense of tranquility. It actually took my breath away, which is something I never thought a video game would do.
Yes
This brings back great memories, I’ll never forget playing this game for the first time. I was blown away
My son and I fall asleep to this everynight. The music made some rough nights easier. The music is supposed to capture loneliness for the player. When there was a lot of chaos... this sound made us feel like it was just us and nothing could ruin our peace
I always get chills when listening to this
More than chilly if in Hebra
Your Chilly since your in a Hebra mountain cave! Put on some snow quill armor!
QUICK OR YOU WILL FREEZE!!!
Thank you for this! There are three or four very specific ambience soundtracks from botw that I use often as I don't sleep well, and this is one of them that is found almost nowhere else.
This music feels best with the huge skeleton in the North Mountain cave
Thank you for posting an hour-long version of this song. It is my favorite and by far the most relaxing song of the entire BotW soundtrack. Props for posting Sounds of Hyrule as well, the music is very relaxing in these videos.
This plays in my favorite spot of the game. I can't remember the name but it's like this really wide area near the bottom of the mountain and these planes covering it or something. I would just go there to relax and run around the emptiness and appreciate this music
Leviathan Cave?
This song with the shrine in the waterfall on Farone is beautiful
Such a beautiful song to go with such a beautiful game, I’m actually tearing up
when I first heard this I legit stopped in my tracks and just listened. absolutely beautiful. had me thinking a bit
1 hour of pure calm...
I like the moments in breath of the wild where you just stop in your tracks and listen.. the cave theme made me stop and listen... I just uploaded my remix of the cave theme to my channel :)
I love listening to this with a *child throwing a temper tantrum outside the back door.* 😌
Mood
Gosh the feeling of finally finding that shrine and just freezing to admire the beauty of the music
BOTW Music is so peaceful... it forces nostalgia onto you over a game that came out just a little over 3 years ago
Maybe it's nostalgic because this song is from oot
Mr. Moonlight never played ocarina, that’s the thing
@@Terlinilia yeah, most people that bought and played botw never played a zelda game before
This song plays in the cave with the Hebra leviathan skeleton. When it started playing I was suddenly in awe of the massive beast’s skeleton and how the glow from the shrine looked like it could be a part of the creature. Usually big sea creatures (even dead ones) scare me beyond belief, but the music took away all my fear and i stood there admiring it for a while
I feel like this piece just perfectly embodies the essence of frigidness.
ITS WINDY
*Winry*
IT WIMDY
Hearing this always makes me feel like stopping and letting Link have a break to sit and reflect on his journey.
I remember the first time I noticed this tune was when I entered in the cave of the hebra’s fossil, and I cried for its beauty, I rested there for a long time. It is still one of my favourite posts in botw, sometimes I start the game and I just go there.
I have been looking for this!
love this theme! it’s really pretty
This and Tarry Town are my favorites. They are just so great.
You are just emerging from the cave into a shaded green jungle. Adventuring was tiring, so you decide to take a break at the entrance of the cave.
You put your hands on the cold damp rock of the cave, and kneel down to lean your back against the rock. You run your fingers through the damp dirt on the ground you sit upon.
You listen to the droplets of water at the caves entrance, the distant chattering of the jungle birds, and gentle rustling of leaves.
For the first time in your life, you felt at ease being alone. With the strength of the rock at your back and the brisk jungle air you feel almost invincible.
Basking in the tranquility of nature’s song, you tilt your head back against the rock and slowly close your eyes. Take it all in…
Damn! This is good!
Can't believe this game is already five years old.
The thing I love about this video is that when you listen to it with headphones it's like you can feel the chill of the breeze in the background with your ears. Then when the audio fades at the end and the breeze gets quieter it feels as if your ears are warming up again. Very well done!
I'm never listening to anything again- this is my life now
Ah, thank you so much!
This is what relaxation sounds like.
breath of the wild was so good
Idk why but this beautiful song made me cry...
Thank you so much for this I love the botw and once I heard this while playing just wanted to listen to it. (without freezing the screen ;w;)
And once I found this I was so pleased to just sit down and relax
In just a day, this will be 5 years old... I wanna cry. Dammit I feel so old.
I love this theme so much... I play this song all the time, it's just so pure... 💖💖💖
0 dislikes. This video is pure.
It was :'(
I’ve been looking for this
If they had bothered to expand the length of this theme and add a little more too it, it would have definitely been the best in the game.
This song has taken my heart.
When I first heard this theme up in the shrine near Selmie's place, I wondered what theme it was called. I had a really bad day during that time and the moment I heard this theme, it calmed me down. It really is such a beautiful melody and it holds a special place in my heart.
This has to be some of the best music is any video game ever, not even kidding
really gotta appreciate this one, you know?
best music of zelda ever
When I first heard this, it was after I had been exploring the winter fields and mountains for hours, walking around aimlessly. I got to a shrine underneath a glacier and when I came out, it was night, and snowing, and I heard this. That’s my favourite memory of this game, beings me back to Mario 64 and that one winter level, and my winters in my wonderful home country of Canada. Lots of childhood nostalgia from laying in the snow watching everything as if it were in slow motion, with snowflakes slowly falling down onto me.
this brings peace to my soul.
I remember hearing this for the first time once I completed the Maka Rah Shrine/Steady Thy Heart (after finding the shrine on accident) And I was overtaken by the serenity and calm that this song gave out. I stayed in the cave for five entire minutes, just listening to the song and cooking stuff next to the shrine
Tbh I used this to make me sleeping
omg it makes me feel- i love it :) so calming all the music in the game is lol
Relaxing and dreamy music suites the location
Mannn this song and great fairy fountain 👌🏼
My dad is confused on why I love video game music so much--
this gives me major Super Mario Galaxy vibes for some reason...maybe the instrument playing the melody
By far my favourite ambient music
yeah this shit brings tears to my eyes i think i had tears thru my eyes most of this game
put it with some fireplace noises
perfect vibe
😩🤌
amazing
Perfect for music for drawing
Me: is this the theme that has been playing in my head recently?
No, just a part of it sounded like a part of the other song.
WHAT IS THE SONG CALLED HELP
Is no one else going to notice the fact that a lot of the chords sound like they were also used to in Sword Search in Link's Awakening?
The 2 dislikes are from Calamity Gannon and Dark Beast Gannon.
And the 6 more now are from cursed enemies in vah-medoh.
Am i the only one who noticed the ocarina of time intro theme
If this doesn’t scream “cold” then I don’t know what does.
What did you guys type into the search to find this? I thought this was a waterfall theme
Just deleted botw so i can play tears of the kingdom. And randomly came back to this theme, it feels so…nostalgic and just beatiful.
Why tf did you delete it
Now no horses
@@catsdogswoof3968 i didnt have enough space
@@catsdogswoof3968 i somehow still kept all my horses
@@zealousspired you deleted the game but probably still had the saves on the cloud or something
Yes
This has always sounded like it belonged in Fear and Hunger to me
i need an expansion of this in botw 2.
Has some skyward sword vibes, ngl I wish the ambience was the dominant audio in this mix. The cave theme is cool but it gets a bit straining on the ears
Ok who disliked this, like why, just to be a wanna be rebel?
Greg ovens makes me jealous
It reminds me of Run to You by Whitney Houston
Why just the caves though?
Anyone else geting Stardew Valley vibes from this?!
I'm havin some Playboi carti arm and leg vibes
H
Ok, but like the riding theme has nothing on the cave theme, lets be honest.
I fear nothing. But that thing... IT SCARES ME.

I swear, I am truly worried.
Nintendo and RUclips... OTP One true pair... I love them as much as much as much as I hate them for doing idiot and Karen-Kevin moves, like deleting musics THAT ARE NOT EVEN AVAILABLE ON ANY SERVICE LIKE SPOTIFY ETC.
I have HF ASD (high functioning autism spectrum disorder). So, I have restricted interests, and RUclips and Nintendo games are common "places" I love to go to recover. This music is the exact theme for my shelter, when I feel bad and my soul is hurt😊
I swear Nintendo better not take Hyrule Sounds down, or strike DragonRand100.
