I thought the music was beautiful the first time I played this game, but then I listened to it on the remake~ some songs I like from the original, but some are just so well done in the new version.

If you guys are oldschool final fantasy fans like me, you should be ready to relive ff7 again released march 3rd I believe. Will have remastered sound, I just hope they didn't change the script/story too much.

Ah, wonderful memories of what was in store for me....wow, what a rush to play a game that will become "LEGENDARY" to me in the future!!!
My brother was my inspiration for even getting into the final fantasy franchise since I was young. This was his favorite FF and after playing through it so many times it really influenced me as a person. This game has forever changed me and knowing my brother is no longer here, the impact of the game on me is that much stronger.

I was still too young to play this game when it first came out. I watched my dad play the hell out of it though I use to sit there for hours and watch, when I was old enough he gave it to me to play this is some serious nostalgia. I love this game.

The Hymn of the Fayth has always been a favorite of mine. And the Via Purifico. But above all is the Hymn. It is what I first heard when I entered Valefor's temple, and it is the song that I heard while sobbing as the credits began.
It was the full circle experience. The beginning of the journey, and the end. And through each temple, the hymn grew. Soon, the world joined as they faced evil head-on. That was a penultimate moment for me. Seeing all of Spira come together for that moment, regardless of personal negativity.
It will always hold a place in my heart. And every cover and version is just as important.
Listening to this at work and fortunately I am alone this week here. So much memories, so much joy, so much pain, so much sorrow and sadness is in this music. Final Fantasy X is one masterpiece and I played it so often that I have an Image in my mind with every song I hear. Congratulations, you did a splendid job there in putting this together!

25:45 brings me chills to my spine and tears to the eyes, because I swear I can hear Jecht saying "When it starts I won't be myself anymore. I won't be able to hold myself back. I'm sorry." And then Tidus, almost immediatly, and almost choking "THAT'S ENOUGH! Let's finish this, OKAY?!"
oOh god, Final Fantasy X will be my favorite game forever.
That song - specifically, that version of it - was such a heart-grabbing portion of the game. And then, right when it has you in its grasp, it switches into the heart-pounding Otherworld theme! Such a perfect way to lead into the "final" boss fight!!

That moment in the game is the most iconic moment of any video game to me. Seeing Jecht, in the flesh with his arms crossed, knowing the journey is almost through... wondering why, but then quickly realizing what had to be done.

I vividly remember when I got this game along with a PS2. My son and I were so excited and we played for hours upon hours. So many amazing memories together due to the Final Fantasy games.
Listening to this as I rock my 2 month old son to sleep. I can not wait for the time I can sit down with him and experience this game together

The Wild Hunt it’s subjective, but exploitative… I’m glad I found this art for myself as a teenager.
Around eight years ago when my son was born, I'd use this compilation to put him to sleep. The preceding years have been extremely challenging and I would use this video to unwind and find serenity. I lost track of the video (I think you retitled it to avoid DMCA) and I had to actively search FFX relaxing music compilations for weeks to finally find this again. Needless to say, this specific compilation holds a lot of sentimental value and I'll be saving it to my hard drive. Finding this made my month, thank you.

I think it was just something basic like Relaxing Music from Final Fantasy X 😅
I love the FFX soundtrack, and the varied styles presented by its 3 composers. Nobuo Uematsu has the gift of a strong melody and chord progression. Masashi Hamauzu really excels at complex interlocking rhythms with orchestration and piano writing. Junya Nakano brings some real atmospheric and jazzy influences with intriguing instrumentation. They work so well together and yet also feel varied. And this remastered soundtrack is gorgeous. Makes me want to play again.
This is an AMAZING playlist thank you sooooo much!! I'll be using this to realize the tension from exams :)

I was kinda keeping it together, but the last three songs immediately made me cry. So many fond memories in this game, playing together with my brother, taking turns beating bosses. Wish I could go back just to experience this game for the first time again. Though, playing the remake still made me tear up, even though I knew exactly what was going to happen. Some games will just last for all of eternity.

I think I’ll be listening to this soundtrack my whole life. There is a song for every occasion or activity that I do, especially when I go to the gym. I’m waiting for an orchestra to perform this soundtrack live. That’s something I’d pay good money to see. Great job on this mix btw. I’ll be adding this to my Ffx Album.

i played ff7 first as a kid but it was only a demo my friend didn't need because he had the game. However, i first rediscovered final fantasy with ff10. It was the first real experience i had with an rpg. Moreover, it was my first ps2 game i got along with the ps2, which i got as a birthday present, so its a great memory. The revolutionary graphics and gripping story sucked me in hard. Its personally one of my most favorite games ever.
Dude, the same thing happened to me! I got this game when I was 7-8 years old as a birthday present. Also got it along a PS2 so it was my first game too. Not a native english speaker so I had no idea what was going on, needed my father to translate for me :D But I was hooked from the first gaming session. It has been pretty much 14-15 years since that, I still love this game and play it occasionally :)

Beautifully put together and so very emotionally nostalgic! I always tear up listening to this soundtrack, because like many FFX lovers, I got emotionally invested in that game. The feels.

It may seem weird or crazy, and I know that it's just a game for many....yet, I've come to develop an emotional attachment to each and everyone of these characters!!! Wakka, LuLu, Khimari Ronso, Tidus, Auron, Rikku, and Yuna!!! Yuna is my all time favorite after all...just take a look at my thumbnail!! In Final Fantasy 10-2, she's the leader of the "Gullwings" with her cousin Rikku and bestie Paine!!! I love experiencing the adventures of all of the Final Fantasy genre, and I will forever be in love with it, and the music!!! Much love and many thanks to all of the people that involved their time and talents to create an awesome way to pass the time!! It seems fitting (to say the least), to spend time with avatars in a "Fantasy World", if only for a moment....just to escape our world which is full of hatred and strife.

Final Fantasy X was the third videogame I ever played. I was 11 when I did, and I had only played Pokémon Pinball and Silver before. My parents gifted us a Play Station II and I picked this game from the shop without knowing what it was. Nobody knew we needed a Memory Card so, until we got one, everyday I would start the game and finish around Kilika village before I had to go to bed. Then, when I finally was able to play it through, I was just absolutely amazed. The characters, the creatures, the story, the world, the MUSIC! It took me months to finish it little by little and, when I did, me and my sister, who would sit behind me watching me play, cried our hearts outs and felt lost for weeks. I too have bought this game on 4 different consoles.

I'm working on a post on FFX right now, and this is perfect to listen to.
By the way, can we just appreciate how good this game is? The music is wonderful, of course, but the thematic and character work is just exemplary. The pacing, the set-up and execution, the choice of when and where to reveal information to the player and the characters; it's all so wonderful. Combine that with one of the richest worlds in video games and you have what is, in my opinion, the greatest game of all time. Aside from the vocal hatedom, this game is liked fairly well, but it is so much more beautiful and poignant than a lot of people realize.
