Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

The fact that he didn't say a single word and just pulled out a tv and played the tape after jimmy did all that really paints what the entire show will be about
The most very important thing to keep in mind is that nobody got hurt
the line 'near-honors students all' is really underappreciated
Jimmy's optimism is amazing. He knows the case is weak but still giving hope to his clients.
I don't think there is a person in the world that could deny that Jimmy gave those kids the best defence he could. Anyone was always losing that case.
Given his losing position he really did go out swinging. Most Lawyers wouldn't have tried this hard.
I love how some jurors immediately look away when he put in the tape - like they've probably already seen it throughout the trial - makes you wonder what they did right before the reveal - amazing.
I really like how the atmosphere is boring and monotonous until Jimmy arrives and tries to instill grace and good vibes
I love how Jimmy's like "Don't worry about it, guys." when the video is being played.
I love how Saul plays it down then it’s followed by an absolute horrific video 🤣 also in guessing the people who leave court are the family of the deceased .
Love this scene. You have no idea what kind of shenanigans these kids were up to until the reveal.
‘Near honour students, all’
Gotta hand it to Jimmy for sticking up for his clients in an obvious loser case. Chuck was a fool to doubt jimmys ethics.
It’s funny how despite 6 seasons of cartel stuff this is still among the most depraved things to happen in this series
At least he tried.
If “It’s just a prank, bro” was a person.
Considering the crime, this was the best defense Jimmy could give. Throw yourself at the mercy of the court and plead for leniency.
I like the fact that Dave didn't even need to utter even a single word. Well played.
Simply a perfect opening scene for the series. Will miss Better Call Saul.
The fact that the kids didn't plead out and this went to trial is on them
