How did you get them to work? Base model halogen lights are not wired for LED lights. They have 6 pins at at terminal. Aftermarket eBay lights like the ones you linked have more pins, which means the harness you plug it in to has to be different. For example, if you had a higher trim bmw that came factory with LED angel eyes it would already come wired with the modules and ballasts, while factory halogen cars are only wired for simple circuit headlight assemblies.
My honest opinion is yes. They can have timing chain issues and I would look up on that if I were you. The 328 was an extremely reliable car for me and others I’ve talked to just don’t push the horse power above stage 2. I didn’t have a single thing go wrong on the car. Now maintenance can be more expensive than something like a Honda ofc but if you shop on fcp euro you can get good prices and lifetime replacement on stuff like brakes, rotors, even oil. It’s a super fun car that is quick sounds good and looks good. For the price it’s the best interior and infotainment you’ll get.
@@duncancheeves yeah i was looking at a 2014 bmw 328i im so in love with the bmw but my parents dont want me to get a bmw. i live in a complete different state soooooo i may just learn and find out myself bro
I installed these myself 3 years ago only because I wanted halo to replace my halogen headlights on f30. The problem with these are the LED halo dies pretty quick. Mine had an HID version and the ballast died in few month which I replaced by another set. But one of the halo died in couple thousand miles which I could not replace and stuck with it. Just got these eBay jobs on my wagon. I don’t even know how bmw let cars go out with halogen headlights, they’re the worse. I love the headlights like thw halos better than the round ones. How are yours holding up?
They are holding up super well actually my brother drives the car with them on and he’s had no issues. We had to adjust the headlights to get them just how he wanted but after that no issues electrically or no issues with the build quality.

I’m not really sure. These headlights that we bought had great fitment and fit perfect. You have minor adjustments within the bolts you put in so maybe that’s the cause.
@@duncancheeves I can still adjust them a bit but would it be a better idea to do this when the bumper is on so i can make sure it's perfectly aligned?
