G'day Felix, if we trade our F1 back into this year I would do only for Armstrong, Shanahan or Travaglia; otherwise I would rather save it for next year. Otherwise, Sims, Ough would be good. Cal Twomey talking about Essendon pick swap involving second and third round picks, what do you think this looks like? Plus, any unused picks later on hope that we can trade them into next year. Would be handy to have a couple of F4 with our own going into next year.
I really like jonty I seriously reckon in 10 years time when we do a re draft of this crop he’ll be the best key forward and a top 5 selection. Kako I reckon is one of the safest bets too after pick 10 that will succeed in an afl system. I still rate Murphy Reid a lot more than others do too I think he’ll be a steal same with trainor he could go in the mid 20’s which is a crazy steal.
Anything seems possible tomorrow night with pick splits and I think we get the forward to pair with caddy but I'm keen to find out certain to be interesting
Armstrong or berry would be awesome but my pick would be Murphy Reid has smarts and class reminds me of ginnivan but with more upside and we need some class
Do we actually need a big bodied mid anymore? I feel like it used to be one of our bigger needs, but I see gaping holes everywhere else. The midfield is talented enough to work it out.
John Ralph said that we'd be willing to trade in if someone is out top 10 fell down the order, I personally don't think Armstrong fits us that well (We already have Jones and Caddy as young KeyFs, and too many in the team already), Taj Hotton is the one I think will slide and we could trade for, Twomey has him going to GWS so we would have to trade out a F1 for him
good work mate, cheers. I feel like a kid the night before Christmas
This is better than Christmas
Just unreal work from you mate
Cheers mate!
Fantastic Felix - great work again. We need to get you on the recruiting team at the Bombers!!
I’d be too annoying, Rosa would hate me constantly yapping
Exciting next couple of days Felix.
Some good possible choices there.
Hoping for some drama!
I have the biggest draft crush on Travaglia. Just a fast, aggressive, competitive animal.
Something this team lacks badly, especially in defence

I’ll take about that potential pick swap in my draft preview tomorrow, because unfortunately it’s quite complicated to answer here 😅
For me it's either Shanahan, Lindsey or Murphy reid.
One of the Whitlock's would be great. I also like the look of Noah Mraz.
So many options. A big, quick, rebounding defender along with a tall, mobile forward along with Kako would be a great outcome.
That’s what makes it such a great draft

I agree, he is a favourite of mine
Shanahan or Armstrong for sure would be great, but I do think Faull might be just as good.

Impossible draft to predict
@everythingessendon548 I know right excited as to see what ya think Thursday morning mate go dons ♥️🖤

Murphy Reid is as classy as anyone this draft

I think we still lack a defensive presence in there
Gday bomber fans🥰
G’day Bomber fan!
What about Jobe Shanahan?
I like him a lot too! Just not as much as some of these guys
upload a mock draft if you want!? even though it's not really to do with essendon.
Unfortunately I won’t this year, I ran out of time
How do the Bombers go about trading back into the first round and what will it cost us and what pick could we end up with?
We will likely try to tempt teams with a future 1st, and if successful I’d expect a pick back no earlier than pick 12-13
@@everythingessendon548 So they would be talking to Richmond with their 2 picks around that stage of the draft.
@ Yep or GWS
I’d be happy with Will Hayes.
Ough would be good if we can get him with a late pick
Agreed, could be handy
Isnt cal twomeys phantom draft usually deadly accurate?
Usually, but this is a very unpredictable draft
Armstrong/Shanahan
Two very good forwards
Love to get Shanahan
Either would be a win
I expected to see you in the dylan alexander video !
Unfortunately not, he’s a gem though
How can we get Armstrong
Re Artimus, I'm a Victorian and don't give a rats about where they come from as long as they can play.
He can play, I’m a fan
I don’t know any of these players from a bar soap, just have trust the club to get it right. But I do know under 18 to AFL is chalk and cheese!
Rosa will earn his money tomorrow night
I want Hannaford
Possibly with a 2nd/3rd round pick

Wouldn’t mind Hotton, very talented
James Barrat looks like a faster leaner kale hooker. Could be very useful just like hooksy was when he came back and played swing man
Good comparison, very solid as well
Is it just me who thinks we don’t (urgently) need a key forward?
It’s not urgent, but I think Armstrong makes sense for our build
@ fair call, keep up the good work
We got none of these hehe
Got Archer Day-Wicks, and Angus Clarke was a real gem all year, really happy with that get
Jones out Armstrong in.
I reckon Jones is a big part of our future, expecting a good year from him
@ this is probably his last year to prove himself.
