Guess there is a reason that standard tipping for the pro's starts at 1 inch! Curious how much of a gain there would be though if you did Carry Yd - Offline Yd = Total Yd. I'm personally in the 44" playing length fairway finder with a 46" bomber for scrambles Really interesting data on the ball speed/yd and launch angle/height though! Had no idea it made that much of a difference
As you stated if you were to butt trim, it would feel stiffer. Would it be the same feeling if you were to choke down on it? The reason I asked this question is because I ordered a shaft that allows you to try it out for 30 day and you can return or exchange it in that time period. But null and void if I was to cut it down. BTW I liked the vid!!!
