Imo people just plan the tactics they want round by round, and If you drop one it usually decides the game. there are ton of have and have nots with automatic tactics that make scoring them less about strategy and more about task fulfillment. "did I bring 2 units of harpies in my Dok list"? then I score 4 points automatically... not very strategic
A handful of Liberators and Protectors holding their ground against the hordes of darkness is peak AoS.

The game chages drastically without BT. Is less strategic and more go in the middle and kill before getting killed.

Palladors, best unit in SCE
the teleport is super cool and useful, I had some vanguard hunters in my list as well but dropped them for an extra hero.
Palladors with axes can do work. The hunters are okay for bodies but never as good as the palladors
Ill try them with axes next time.
