  • We finish fitting this replacement bull barrel and I eat a slice of humble pie!
    Upper lug fitting, looking for binding points at the muzzle and how to correct plus barrel links galore!
    Stay tuned for the chambering of this barrel, quite quick. and then back to the 9mm Commander build.

    Thank you for sharing im beginning on doing research on building my own 1911 and your videos are very informative. Question (this very well could be my ignorance)at 35:30 ish you explain to test with no link to verify the feet are cut correctly. If i understand from earlier the cutter was a .195" and the slide stop pin was .200" shouldn't their be .005" of bind?

    well I guess it works if you are not buying the cutter jig, but this seems a little much with a bit prone to inaccurate barrel fitting get a barrel lug cutter at Brownells might be expensive but for best fit, its the only way to go

      @@swartzkoft7886no it is not, you know not of what you talk about, he cut the lugs with a rotary lug cutter, not using a jig in the mill, this guy is an amateur.
