Stellantis FIRED 94% of FCA's US workers!

- With the latest round of layoffs, Stellantis has less than 6,000 US employees!
Stellantis ever since 2021 has fired the majority of FCA senior staff and then made it's way down to now engineers. First UAW temp employees was fired through text message on their day off and now Stellantis mandated a work from home to fire 400 more employees. FCA was estimated to have around 90,000 employees in the US but 3 years since the merger, less than 6,000 remain. With Carlos Tavares and Mike Manley claiming the merger would save jobs, they didn't tell employees it would be the European jobs saved and not the American ones. With a few CEO's left on American soil like Dodge and Ram boss Tim Kuniskis, will these brands survive? Or will they go up in smoke like the EV trend?

22 TRX owner here, and I will NEVER buy another CDJR vehicle again for the rest of my life. FCA was cool, Stellantis is awful and anti-American. NEVER AGAIN.
💯 Some sad times .
2020 WBHC Owner right here, I second that. Looking forward to putting my car back to stock and selling it off looking at Toyota Tundra or gen 6 4runner if it drops!
FCA ended up being much better than i thought it would be. stellantis is purposely running chrysler into the ground
yeah fca wasnt bad but stellantis is trying to destroy the company
Same here. After 6 RAM trucks from 1998 through 2019 and a Challenger wide body, im done. Stellantis brings embarrassment to CDJR.
Dodge is on it’s way to being nothing but a memory just like Pontiac.

Do people even stop to think what they are saying? Apparently not.
@@ItsEverythingElse yes apparently you don’t

Stellantis is destroying Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep. The ev charger is going to push dodge into early grave which is what Stellantis wants.
Agree black rose dodge is headed for dark days indeed.
EVs, ELECTRIC CARS, aren't selling, Stellantis? What is it you don't understand? The ICE engine including hemis is what we still want! The NEW GREEN DEAL is not climate change related! The Biden Administration is no longer MANDATING EVS! A new Administration will save Detroit! I thought that the CEO of Stellantis was hesitant in manufacturing EVs???
Stellantis couldn’t keep Dodge going without EV’s. They were paying billions in fines and credits because the entire lineup isn’t fuel efficient and have high emissions.
I’ve been saying this…the STELLANTIS foreign EXEC’s and foreign CEO’s are destroying what’s left of American car legacy from DODGE and RAM ESPECIALLY..SELLS DOWN BIG TIME WAIT TILL APRIL 30th
Screw e.v.'s the whole credit fine's is all a hoax based on opinions of few.
Alfa Romeo owner here. Things have gone to shit at ALFA as well since merger. Someone needs to save these brands before stellantis destroys them all any further
Should have kept the 4c, Compete with Supra, and 400z. I like Alfa, and I agree with you.
Is Stellantis a secret Chinese company?

BRUTAL, they really are dismantling FCA
Stellantis has literally destroyed the Dodge brand! Good job! 😡
That was the plan all along. All designed and planned.
Mandatory remote workday so they can fire folks is so scummy.
They're intentionally trying to bury the Dodge brand.
That was their goal, they said 3 yrs ago they wanted Dodge gone. All they wanted was Ram and Jeep
I got a shovel. Looks like it’s a rap
Why does a European company even own Dodge it's absolutely ridiculous!
Welcome to America, everything is for sale here.
Chrysler/Dodge has flirted with bankruptcy every ten years since the late 1970s. Mercedes merged with them in 1998 as “2 equals”. They got a corporate divorce around 2005. No one wanted Chrysler at that point because their market share dwindled down to be too small as a stand alone company after building shoddy lemons for decades. A company named Cerberus Capital bought them and renamed them Chrysler LLC. They then went bankrupt in 2009 and Fiat was the only automaker interested in merging with them so they could re-enter the US market and have an established dealer network. Peugeot, Fiat, and Chrysler all build autos that rank below average in build quality and I guess some business genius figured taking all 3 of these awful automakers they could combine them into an international behemoth to compete with Volkswagen, Toyota, GM etc.
Well where would you like to start?
the Mercedes merger of 98,
the turbulent partnership,
Chrysler being sold off to private equity,
the subsequent bankruptcy,
or the buyout by Fiat
Hell the challenger and charger are based on the LC & LX platforms which were in turn based on the Mercedes W211 E-class
The only thing Daimler wanted was the 30 Billion dollars Chrysler had because Mercedes was losing money. The year before the merger we received close to $10,000 profit sharing checks. The very next year with nearly identical sales we were told that they were broke.. still wondering what happened to the 30 billion.
@@charlesharmon4926

Mergers are NEVER equal. It's just a term used to sugarcoat a buyout they know won't be popular.
This statement is 100% true. Lived through it.
FCA is still majority owner of Stellantis or Exor to be exact.
Boycott. Stellantis.

Very sad days for the Chrysler Group. They have the potential, but always suffered from bad Management, poor Quality Control, and Scumbag Dealerships.
It's all good, they have a plentiful supply of immigrants to staff the US based operations. Just like Tyson Foods just did.... Stellantis should be dismantled from the top down. So should Tyson.
Won't happen unless Brandon is kicked out, this is all part of the plan. Get Americans desperate and pore. This is done with perverse incentives for companies, they off shore jobs and fire Americans so they can replace them with minimum wage migrants, all done under the guise of the Environment, Social Justice, or Racism.. The people then beg for more government to save them, help us we cant feed our children. We get bigger and bigger government, which taxes us more and more further restricting economic growth and innovation, until it all collapses and they get to rebuild in their vision. Build back better YO.

Guess that re-badged Alfa Romeo isn't selling.
I call for Congressional investigation in Washington regarding Stellantis behavior
Especially when the feds (current Whitehouse) protects the UAW as if they are the chosen ones. They don't seem to care that salaried workers are getting cut.
Two bailouts with our tax dollars, and this is the thanks we get

One thing is for sure. Stellantis is on a mission to destroy their acquisition. Stellantis is destroying Dodge as if this was their plan all along... If only the Dodge Brothers could see this now! Seeing Dodge fall like this, pisses me off to no end! It's a tragedy!!
It’s a big circle jerk, the rich looking out for the rich, telling each other what will going down and get on board or you’re out!
All this is very sad.. Cars are getting too expensive and out of blue collar workers budget.

I'm a Ram owner and like most of the Ram, Dodge, Chrysler lineup. In fact, I was starting to shop again when I saw a TV interview with the CEO. He was so dismissive of the interviewers' questions and concerns over pricing etc. I stopped looking at their vehicles right then and there.
How much you want to bet they drop another 400 Q2, then Q3, then Q4. All to avoid the WARN law.
If you did this video yesterday I would have thought it was April fools....but wow this is SAD! How do you sustain a company by cutting it's way to growth??? Wtf
No wonder they haven't responded back to my email about my car
I say we should boycott the ceo and not buy a single vehicle from stellantis here in America until the ceo is forced to resign
I think we should all write letters to the SEC and have their stock pulled from the market before they cash in!
The arrogant Europeans consider Americans as barbarians. Us boycotting would be considered a badge of honor for him.
Stellantis' imported cars should be taxed to the hilt.
They don’t even have to do that there’s no one buying them anyhow
Time to get out of Dodge?
I still have hope, but this looking pretty grim.
End of the line, glad I was able to pickup a 2019 charger awd hemi pursuit with 60k miles on it, never buying a FCA/STELLANTIS vehicle again.
not a good time to work for an american car company...
For all of those RUclipsrs, who still insist that there’s going to be a hydrogen powered hemi and an “SRT Hydra” and that Dodge is going to eventually bring back the V8 engine: what are your thoughts now?
STELLANTIS is ultimately going to be the death of Dodge.
Now it makes sense that the prices skyrocketed to price out consumers. No sales equals the perfect excuse to fire all the employees sheesh the big picture is revealing itself
I feel sorry for the workers, but Chrysler lost their way years ago. If you work on your own cars you realize that their engineers hated mechanics.
Engineers design a car to be put together easy on a assembly line no to taken apart.
When I bought my 2018 Jeep Cherokee, it was the most American car you could buy at 71% domestic parts. It was assembled with union labor in Belvidere and is a really good car.
John Elkann orchestrated the whole thing.
John Elkann is weak. Carlos Tavares is running FCA NA into the ground.
@@pgcooldadWTF? John Elkann sits at the head of the board, he is the chairman and the majority owner of "Stellantis" and he is the one Sergio Marchionne, Mark Stewart and Carlos Tavares answers to. It doesn't matter if you see jeeps in movies. If they end up in the junk yard within 5 years.

Yes because the 90s jeeps I see on the road consistently and regularly were placed in the junk yard after five years and somehow the jeep has remained the best suv for almost 2 decades.

Great info bro.
How is that not age discrimination? Seems like an easy class action lawsuit.
Because the buy outs are an offer. You don’t have to accept. It’s basically an early retirement. Say you are planning to retire in two years they might offer you 100k to retire now. Out of the last batch of buy outs approximately 10% accepted.
