    I bought tofu sheets because I love them in hot pot, but had no idea what else to use them for. I appreciate this easy meal to make after work. Thanks for sharing!

    Also, do you know the difference between blanching the sheets in the water and in the baking soda water? any idea. Triditional methods usually have their own reason . I like andante like you but just curious.

    I'm looking for the recipe that uses these sheets compressed into a mass and then cut into pieces of mock chicken. This mock meat is then marinaded to use in stir fry or sandwiches.

    I have dried tofu skins... how do I soften them, no matter how long I soak them they are like eating thin cardboard!

      You'll need to simmer them long enough until they're soft.

    I haven't found the thicker & softer sheets like those. I've only found tissue-paper thin and brittle types. I've purchased on Amazon and at the local Asian market (where I found so many other vegan treasures, but not those specifically). Any advice or links you could share? I'm also seeking those really large yuba/soy bean curd sheets that are thicker and less britte but come drier (not as soft like the ones you used here), but I keep ending up with super thin brittle sheets.

      If you live in the US, hodo foods make fresh yuba sheets.

    Hi man I have lived in china ... originally I m from India and now I miss these tofu sheets .....I know how to make tofu sheets but these strips .....I urge to plz make video about making of these pressed sheets from scratch...so that I can try to make these at home....and if u want I ll ask it in Chinese..... Ni keyi gaousu wo zenme zuo tofu pian zai wo jia limian..xie xie ni
