I can’t stay mad at you whiskey!!! 😂 ❤️
The amazing thing about music is how so many incredibly talented people can take familiar songs and make them sound different. YOu do that when you cover.
Yep, there's no point in learning to be a cheap tribute. You gotta make it your own.
Yo Mike. Agreed very tasty use of the whammy bar. beautiful arrangement, great player.
We agree!! 🍻
@@michaelgoyettemusic Here's one for you... What's the difference between a chord solo and fingerstyle? Back in the day it was all finger picking to me. Is there a difference? I mean Alip Ba ta, Tommy Emmanuel and Marcin all play fingerstyle apparently but the styles are completely different. Now I'm starting to see arrangements described as chord solos and I'm getting a tad confused 'cos to me they are doing the same thing. i.e. mixing parts of the original song into an arrangement which contains elements of the chord sequence, bass, line, hooks and melodies into one playable piece. How much flair is added to that seems to depend on the players personality and showmanship. Just wondering am I missing some nuance or is there another world of guitar out there that I haven't discovered?
He has toured with a couple of female artists, Jesse J and Tori Kelly, and apparently played a gig with Bruno Mars.
Bruno Mars is the one I heard about now that you mention it.
Yo, just beautiful, that took the song a long way from the original for sure.
It did…..but the great bits were still there!! He’s not as flashy as some of his contemporaries but it sounds great.
