Can't decide between that and the Gem80. Both looks super cool for programming, office and gaming ....
I haven't tested the Gem80 keyboard but it looks really cool!

Have Air75 v2 myself, it is good, but not very good. WIth low profile Gateron switches it uses you are practically locked in Gateron ecosystem, and if you want quiet switches, there is no options whatsoever. Keycaps are pretty specific too, but there are options. If you buy Gem80 or Halo75 v2, you'll have all the options in the world for switches and keycaps.
Cool for gaming - yes! But for programming? Come on, no one commutes to work in Mustang.
Gonna be honest, I do not see how this is specifically nice for Software Engineers. To me this looks like a standard international layout keyboard with some small gimiks. It looks quite nice and well built so I can see the appeal aswell.
I guess because it is low profile. And NuPhy kinda has an expertise on that, from what I'm seeing. The keycap is nSA i think, lower than cherry. So low it can't be used for standard size/ profile keyboards.
Low profile is good for ergonomics, given if your desk has some depth to rest your arms. No need to use a wrist rest also. Like, Software engineers used to type a lot. So they need that.
I tried it and I like it but it's buggy. Currently using a Logitech MX Mechanical Mini for Mac on the Mac Mini and Keychron K1 Pro on my System76 Linux box.
What issues have you noticed?
@@VoloInTech The main problem is keys that get stuck and repeat forever. I've tried upgrading to the latest firmware but it still happens. I've also had some dropped connections, missed keys, double keys, things like that. Hard to track down. Double keys could be a result of mistyping, so it's hard to know. I think the firmware upgrade fixed some of it, but the repeat forever still happens sometimes. I also did not have good luck using the 2.4GHz dongle and now I just use either wired or Bluetooth. Supposedly there is some kind of RF firmware update that fixes that, but I didn't do that part.
@@kdietz65 Thanks for describing the problem. Have you written to support?
I haven't found any such problems yet.
Have you thought also about Lofree flow 84?

Are there any keyboards like this with the UK/EU layout? I.e. the enter key being an L shape.
There are only these - nuphy.com?sca_ref=6670107.LnJK51Pm06
