Being near the situation I can tell you this, EVERYONE at the Westport flea market knew he took Jerry and the PD did NOTHING. The only reason me and my cousin were
"safe" was we were younger then his preferred victims. Jerrys dad even went through Bobs trash trying to get the cops to arrest him. My uneasy feeling about all cops came from this situation. If the PD would of listened to Jerrys dad, 5 other men would be alive today.

      +brian4480
That's the story my client at the medical clinic in Detroit told me when the news came out that Berdella was dead: That the old man of the first victim knew he was with Berdella and moved heaven and earth to try to get the cops to look at him for his son's disappearance.
EDIT: Same thing with the Corll case in Texas: One of the missing boy's fathers watched Corll and one of the teenage boys digging in his boat shed for 20 minutes, went and tried to get the cops to go back with him, cops told him to mind his business but he went back and watched them dig for another 2 hours, instead. He could see they had more firepower than he did so he didn't confront them.
In that case years later cops raided a warehouse or storage locker and found tons of pedo pictures of teen boys, many of them Corll victims. There's a lot more to many of these stories.

Sad to hear that. I was listening to a podcast by a lady going by Professor Wham on Conspirinormal and she said she worked at Bobs store. She said he had access to serious drugs, some of which would be very hard to get a hold of and that some of the pics he took led the police to believe he had accomplices. This ties in with Dave McGowans Programmed to Kill. Any thoughts on that?

Amazing logic these serial killers have - that if the police did their job properly, more wouldn't have died. These killers have absolutely no concept of responsibility whatsoever, they have completely warped logic, and to their mind they can do no wrong and everyone else is at fault. To blame the police as he did is extraordinarily arrogant, but then again this is a common trait such killers have.

Exactly, weird how certain serial killers become so well known while others like Berdella don’t. As sick as Dahmer was, he ultimately was lonely & was trying to incapacitate individuals so they wouldn’t leave him. He even ate parts of them to feel more close to them. He’s one of the only serial killers I’ve really felt sorry for. He did feel genuine remorse for his actions.

He held young men captive and inflicted great harm upon them with no empathy or remorse. Seeing as he was imprisoned for his crimes and kept away from his meds, ya can't help but think that this was some measure of karmic revenge. In this case his own body was torturing him without the medication to treat his heart until it finally killed him. I hope he saw the irony of his situation in the time of his incarceration and felt just the slightest bit of remorse or empathy for his victims and their attempts to gain his mercy.

and I'm pretty sure that it wasn't drain cleaner that was swabbed into his eyes it was ammonia.. he mentions in the interview he gives that his eyes were extremely swollen and that he didn't know if his vision "was coming or going"
You are completely right about the PTSD though.. shortly after Bryson escaped he turned to drug abuse and begun neglecting his family, though after being admitted to rehab he managed to get his life back on track which is always nice to hear, not that I'm blaming him because I can't even begin to fathom how traumatising that whole experience was.

One interesting thing about him is after his first murder he felt disgusted with himself and couldn’t even look at the photos he took. But eventually the disgust turned to arousal and he started killing again after taking a 1 year “break”. On another occasion he was about to torture a guy who was injured but at the last second decided to take him to the hospital instead. But later that guy came back and pissed him off so he decided to go on with the torture.
To me he doesn’t seem like a true psychopath. Why would a psychopath be disgusted with what they did. Also why would a psychopath give up the opportunity to kill someone and instead take that person to the hospital. Seems like there were two conflicting sides to his personality but the more he killed the more his conscience disappeared.

My sister-in-law was working for a, European, not your, French news agency as a fact checker and translator and was in Milwaukee when the Dahmer story broke. She stayed to help cover the story to the end of the trial and even though she talked about it non stop with the right people it still messed her head up a bit.
The jokes were almost as immediate as the story; so much for the comedy = tragedy + time theory, huh?
I heard about the Berdella case only because I was working in a medical clinic that served Detroit's gay community when he died in prison and one of my clients there was a mobile transient fellow, cool cat, only knew him a handful of months before he moved along again, who knew one of the Berdella victims when he was living in KC.

A serial killer is just what happens when a person snaps from constant negative factors (incomplete parts of the brain and/or experiences in life) and can now end the lives of other humans without remorse. Serial killers are the spooky side of humans along with drug cartels, sex traffickers, child molester groups, etc. The side of us that makes our blood run cold with fear at the thought of just how dark a human mind can get.

Don't you just love how sociopathic scumbags like this try to deflect away from the substantive matters by dwelling on inconsequential things like the type of paper he wrote notes on and how meticulous the notes were or weren't. As if notating his crimes on notepaper somehow makes it a lesser of a crime.

I’m sickened of murderers claiming abuse…for what these monsters 👿 have done they don’t deserve any comforts of any kind. Unfortunately, there’s a new murderer every day out there. I don’t trust anyone..& that’s just sad, because you never know who your talking too.

it sounds like they are talking about a intersection in KC. 10th and McGee. apparently people have been mysteriously vanishing and being found in that area for 20 yrs? he says family's of his victims or anyone else's in relation to, 10th and McGee. Police could have prevented things that happened there he suggests to the interviewer, or that even he could have been "scared off"

I'll tell you, this country would be a lot better off if they all had stayed in Italy! The only thing we would have missed was the food, but i'm sure someone would have brought it here sooner or later.
