Larry was my cousin law, everything you said did happen and beyond. The three thick notebooks he kept on Larry was sickening, the pictures he took was vile, heart breaking and sad. We can only hope Larry's soul is at peace.
Oh wow - I am so sorry that such terrible things happened to your cousin. That bite was a brave move - good for him! ♥️ Thanks for watching and commenting!
So crazy story, my brother knew this guy! I am 100% serious. I will call my brother S, and for reference he is actually my half-brother who is much older than me. He was about 21 and living in Kansas City at the time his friend Bob the Butcher was arrested. S frequented the flea market in question and Bob's stall was a favorite of his. Apparently Bob also made (or maybe resold) jewelry at his stall. S bought a few jewelry pieces from Bob for his Mom (my dad's ex-wife). She was such a fan of the jewelry that she asked S to introduce her to the owner of the quirky shop. One day S got a frantic call from his mother. She insisted she had seen Bob on the news and that they were "digging up his backyard". Now, his mother was a pretty eccentric woman and it would not be the first time she gave S a paranoid phone call in a hysterical state. Of course, as we know, she was unfortunately correct. A very creepy bonus to this was that S was very much Bob's "type"....young and reckless. If S had also been gay and/or homeless we suppose he could have fallen into Bob's snare himself. And as a fun bonus, my brother S has been running his own antique bookshop in Toronto for about 15 years now. It is called The Monkey's Paw, and they specialize in all things peculiar and morbid. If you are in Toronto, stop by and ask the middle aged guy with the beard about his old friend Bob down in KC.
@@BetterOffRed I knew a girl a year or two older than me. She was probably 18 or 19, when Bob Berdella was arrested. She lived down in Hyde Park in KC at the time and described him as perfectly nice, because obviously he was not interested in her or any females.
I just love how secure and confident you are in what you do that you give shout outs to others, especially Queen Bailey Sarian. Keep on being you and giving us a chuckle here and there. THANK YOU FOR YOU, SARA!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤️
jerry howell, bobs first victim actually sat next to my mom in highschool art class. i remember my parents talking about this serial killer and she said she remembers when jerry went missing.
Why do people feel the need to clarify that these stories aren’t kid-friendly? It’s true crime! Of course it’s not for kids 😒 (also awesome vid I’ll be coming back for more 💅)
I guess RUclips is making them do that cause I have notice some content creators do a thing a the beginning of their videos to who the content is created for.
I live in Kansas City and once bought I pair of earrings from Bob’s bizarre bizarre back in the late 80’s . They were little carved camels made from faux ivory. I got rid of them after that thinking he may have carved them out if one of his victims. BTW….you are hilarious. Glad I found you!
I LIVE in Kansas City and actually only recently heard of this guy, last night when I was driving home from across town, I realized I was close to this neighborhood and decided to drive by and see the lot. The feeling you get when you’re ON that street and see the homes and the lot is indescribable. Someone is trying to build there right now, it’s been in the media here, and I’m not sure that’s a great idea. Just being near it is eerie enough to want to cry.
I am so happy I found you! I am a Crue Trime junkie and that combined with your hilarious wit has me hooked!!!!! I’m binge watching right now and I can’t stop…l keep saying “this is the last one, then I’ll start the laundry”….but there’s always tmrw…

I’m really surprised by all the comments from people who met him, or knew a victim... I’ve watched a lot of true crime videos and look at comments and occasionally see ONE from someone who has a personal connection to a story but THIS...dang.
That's kind of perfect KC stereotype. Everybody knows everybody. Everyone knows everyone and as soon as.a big story takes place, everyone comes out of the woodwork to share their story. Perfect example: I would be a rich man by now if I got a dollar for every time I heard some from around the KC area say they are related in same way to Jesse and Frank James. I hear it all the time. I used to hear it a lot more often than I do now but that family tree off the James family must be huge
That's because half the people who knew him are crazy like my friend Kim. She still thinks of Bob as a nice guy, because obviously he wasn't into sexually harassing teenage girls. Or they're idiots like me who crapped on Bob's front porch on Halloween. Nobody wants to hear from us.
I’ve definitely heard of him, in fact my mom used to do his moms hair a long long long time ago. Creepy to think about honestly. But I love your makeup!!
They have a room in Zak Bagans' haunted museum dedicated to this case. It has photographs and the journals and certain pieces of evidence. Its stomach churning. I can't imagine doing these things to someone. Rest in peace to all of these victims.
The Halloween after bob was arrested, a group of people in black robes came and surrounded the house. Also my step uncle rented a room from bob, yes in that house. He was questioned by police as to what was going on in the house and who had been there. I remember him saying there were always a lot of young teen boys hanging around. Lol
I love this color combo of makeup on you!! I don’t wear makeup, and on the few occasions when I’ve tried it’s been terrible, so I love seeing how successful you are with all of the colors!

I've had way too many of these same ideas...😳😳 Up to one third of the way through the story...oh god..when you paused so long after, "he was his first..." I was so sure you were going to say LOVE!! I've still got some innocence left. Score.
Currently binging all of your Crue Trime episodes, I think it’s safe to say I’m obsessed 😅 Would you consider doing one on Michael Alig (Party Monster)? This episode kind of reminded me of that story. Love your personality, channel, & makeup! 💗
When I was 8, all my grandmother did was drive me around down by the Bottoms and talked history. That was 1987. And now I know that he was holding his last murder victim hostage while I was happily visiting the Nelson Gallery not all that far away. Not creepy as cat box at all. Nope.
I am so happy I found your channel!!!!! I've literally binged watched your videos ever since! It's so easy to get sucked into your videos, your sense of humor and just the way you tell the victims stories makes you so relatable, if that makes sense? I feel like I'm watching my friend and I feel like that makes your videos different than other Crue trime/makeup RUclipsrs and I really like that. I'm always excited to see more true crime content and think you have a really great setup to make both very engaging and informative videos. I think both a relatively easy and immediatly impactful way to elevate future videos would be to make certain to give each of the victims the dignity of having their names at least spoken and in the cases of Jane/John Does distinguishing characteristics that may be helpful to identifying them covered. I know YT videos lend themselves to shorter timeframes than say a podcast or documentry, but I also believe there is a responsibility to acknowledge that even though we at times use humor to analyze it, true crime is ultimately built upon the suffering of real individuals. I really do appreciate your content and very much enjoy true crime that can acknowedge the bizarre and darkly humorous bits. Best wishes! Red, your shows are so informing!!! I will watch more. About revolting jail guards who are vicious to prisoners and can legally get away with it, you could do a show about what a hero Clyde Barrow was. A book, Go Down Together, tells of Clyde helping a convict exterminate a monster creep, Wade McNabb, who had taken psychopathic advantage of his control of his victim to beat up, abuse and torment him. They dragged McNabb away and killed him! Good luck doing more of your terrific shows!
Lmao with Phil getting a photo trying to escape the house. Literally the only humorous thing about this horrible story. I had never heard of Bob before. Wow! Truly heinous.
OMG, this is AWESOME!! I love it!😆👌💯

Great recommendation - thank you, Fred!

Lmao with Phil getting a photo trying to escape the house. Literally the only humorous thing about this horrible story. I had never heard of Bob before. Wow! Truly heinous.
