Hi everybody ! It's time for the last part of this USA Misison. In this video we're flying back to Brussels on the 737 instead of ending the mission in Punta Cana as originally planned. I hope you enjoyed this series ! Thank you very much for all your kind comments on these last few videos. This really motivates me to make even better video's in the future. Don't forget to subscribe if you'd like to follow me along on my next flights. I've already filmed some new beautiful approaches and departures, stay tuned for that ! Thank you once again.
So why was this an empty aircraft? I assume that was a fun flight. One time I hitched a ride on a 737 from DTW to ORD where I was the only single passenger due to missing a flight earlier. I must say, it was the best flight of my life. The aircraft must have been at FL10 within 2 minutes! It was like a roller coaster!
My uncle is a FA, and according to him, ferry flights are really fun. One time they got a tray then slid down the aisle as the plane took off. Another time they took some toilet paper, "connected" it to the toilet and rolled the rest down the aisle. Then flushed it.
I know this is an aviation themed channel, but I have to say I am impressed with your preparation of the car before driving. You cleared it completely of snow! Too many times I have seen people in my neighbourhood simply dust the windscreen and the side windows clear then drive off! Some don't even do that... I have seen people driving with just a small porthole made on the windscreen! Kudos to you for responsible and save driving practices!
Nice video, looks like fun! My first Captain aircraft (in the airlines) was the 727-232. It was a dinosaur compared to yours but it was fun and easy to fly. Our Nav suite was VOR/LOC/ADF. It was a bit of a culture shock after being an F/O on the 75/76, but well worth it. Happy landings!
Max the best aviation content on RUclips, great PFD views, all round views hopefully tui will allow you to make loads more content for us aspiring pilots, keep safe during these times also!
Great job on your video style, editing, music, etc! They're very enjoyable to watch, and the flight info makes them even better! You come across well on camera, and I know I would feel confident with you in the cockpit!
Hey max, very nice videos! Thank you for these. Your videoquality in that series was climbing so strong, wow! Its so informative for me as a simulator guy. Thank you for all that atc stuff and your checklist scenes and as well all the approach things that happen. I appreciate all your doing. Thank you
Great video! Hope it was an enjoyable deployment in Lansing. I have fond memories of this particular aircraft, as it's been leased to us at Sunwing for a couple of winter seasons (2013-2017) as C-FJAU. Thanks for sharing. All the best!
I’ll be flying to Cape Verde from Germany this summer and I was surprised that TUI uses a 737-800 for that. 6,5 hours in a full airplane with lots of holiday bags in it. Truly an amazing little aircraft.
Thanks for the series in USA. 737-800 is an animal .Hope you will continue this kind of videos. All the best during the Covid hell. take care and Salut
Awesome video Max. Very high quality recording. Proud TUI cabin crew here. Wow, an eight hour empty sector on a 737! So unusual for our airline right? Was it a Sunwing lease/return? I can't help thinking of the positioning crew with no IFE, premium seats or crew rest though 😆 but I know they will enjoyed the flight regardless 😊
Maybe it depends on what series of 737. Maybe the 737 max can do that trip cross the atlantic but older versions maybe not. Like models made in the 2000’s 737-200 maybe

Why did you switched the anti ice off?
@@cfscarnivoremax7987 He switched it off because they were above the clouds at that point.
@@cfscarnivoremax7987 Because the ice in the galley ended

Hi Max, what kindof range do you get with an empty plane?
My uncle is a FA, and according to him, ferry flights are really fun. One time they got a tray then slid down the aisle as the plane took off. Another time they took some toilet paper, "connected" it to the toilet and rolled the rest down the aisle. Then flushed it.
almost 5000 fpm on the climb. Looks like fun!!
The left seat held off on rotation until about 180 knots. Helps with ROC

Never knew a 737 could cross the Atlantic on one fill- wow- 👍 rate of climb fast - good clip and no silly music - good one 😁
not just the Atlantic but half the US too! I guess being emoty REALLY mattered;
Yea, so did I. I surprised when I see the route :)
Ron Patterson
Think they have done it with delivery flights before.
@@michaelfeeney8437 Probably.
You can get just about 9hr out of an empty 738, for the smaller -700 you can sometimes get almost 10hr
Amazing videos, I have watched all of them during all my afternoon. I can see how well you improved!!! I hope I can see more of you soon!!!
I like how he kept it in ground effect and then burst out top! Love iT!
The shallow rate on rotate and then into steep climb looked quite amazing!
