For everyone that uses very soft lenses or that can't get this trick to work, look straight in your eyes at the mirror and tilt your head down as much as you can while still being able to see what you're doing, this way the sclera will move upwards and you can lightly drag it with your pointer finger downwards so the lens breaks free, then pinch it and drag it out. Hope this helps

Wait that's opposite for me. First time too, I had so hard time putting it in, my eyes keep trying to blink that it goes for about an hour. But, it only took me few seconds to take it out.
This wont work unless your eyes are extremely dry from wearing them all day. If contact lenses came out every time you turned your eyes and blink, they wouldnt be doing their job.
The comfortable method I use is to look to the inner corner of my eye, use my finger to slide the contact over to the white of the eye, then pinch it with the sides of my thumb and index finger to avoid pinching near my iris and/or using my nails up against the eye.
@Kai Mai you have to stretch the outer corner of your eye like your trying to do Asian eyes (no offense) while also stretching your eyelids up and down, then blink.
@@adamibnal-alam8917 it was easier to put them in with nails then taking them out with nails in my opinion. Taking them out was hard with nails cause of the scooping motion and my nails were long but putting them in now I use a contact applicator

Dude it was that easy the whole time I just took out my contact by pushing it to the side and it went behind my eye and I thought I was gonna lose my eye I had to fight like hell to get it back to the side of my eye where I could pull it out

After 1.5 hours of struggling, I finally came across this video and removed the friggin left contact lens after stretching the outer corner (making my eye smaller) + stretching upper and lower eyelids + glancing to the inner corner with maximum strength. it's now 3:30am and I can finally sleep. UPDATE (10 Aug 2024) I did a double eyelid surgery 1.5 weeks ago and my left contact lens got stuck (AGAIN) because i didn't have eye drops with me. THIS METHOD IS STILL THE WINNER AND MY DOUBLE EYELID IS STILL THERE.

I just succeeded via this method after struggling for 30 mins trying to mimic her. Realised that I had to stretch my eye both horizontally and vertically for it to work.

OH MY GOD THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH, THIS HAS SAVED ME A VISIT TO THE DOCTOR. I have been trying to get it out for 2 hours and have irritated my eyes badly, they are bloodshot and sore, I tried every single method with no success, then I rested for an hour to let my eyes recover and tried this, and it worked with 3 attempts no problem, no poking the eyes, no pain, no tricky movements that require loads of dexterity, just 1 simple motion that pushes it out easily.

It doesn't work for me but I found another solution for when I'm struggling. I pull on the edges of my eyelids as if I'm making "Asian eyes" then blink hard and they slip out.

Using eye drops makes it easier to get them out
Mine stick to the eye despite using eye drops. Hope it will get easier by practicing this technique.

This helped me a lot. My contact lens was stuck in my top eyelid. The professional had 5 different methods that didn't work. This worked perfectly
