I just got those, I will be replacing rusted dv8 so hopefully I can use old hardware. Im also going to linex those fenders so they will have that rugged look and wont fade. Looks good
Awesome not a huge fan of such a narrow fender but I love the turn signal and it looks pretty dang good on that Jeep you might of just changed my mine on a plastic narrow fender! Thanks for video and keep up the good work thanks
Great video! In closing that was pretty funny when you said, "Don't forget the washers." Of course, you could have reshot and just edited another video; but at the same time, I appreciate your honesty. Thanks for sharing your most recent Jeep mod.
Not a concern for us really. I’ve never been a full fender guy so you take the lumps that come with minimal coverage. I generally go for the narrowest designs when I choose my fender flares
Hey brother awesome wrangler had a question I want to order those for my 21 unlimited rubicon the webpage shows them with a glossy black finish ? So they come like a flat color ? Any info would help
Did you custom order those with the led light bar at the front of the fender? I don't see that option on their website. Let me know what you used or did to get that as an option, love the modern look.
You have to buy inner fenders? What worked best with them on the inner fenders there's so many different brands of inner fenders out there they're so overpriced which ones did you go with
I see you've got some rock lights on the Red JL - happen to have a video on that install? I've got some that I haven't installed quite yet and I'm trying to figure out how to run the wiring to the harness w/out it being a major pain in the ass... TIA!!
@@aguywithajeep haha yah I bet & I’m kind of dreading it but - just wondering if you ran the wiring inside/over/underneath the fender liners - wasn’t sure and couldn’t get a good enough look. Thanks man, really enjoy your videos!!
The sequential worked for us right out of the box. I did change the turn signals to LED with the Tazer but I still get turn signal out lights so I probably need to add the resistors
@@aguywithajeep Did you end up adding the resistors? I'm electrically r-worded and I have no idea if it matters which end of the resistor goes to which end of the KBD pig tails.
@FailureToReport nope never did. There are two open wires coming from the kbd harness though that you would add the resistor into if I remember correctly
I just installed the KBSs on my 2021 JL with the led light kit which has the white DRLs. I was hoping these lights would come on as DRLs but they only work when the headlights are on. Anyone have a hack for having these come on as DRLs?
Thanks for the quick reply. I’ll try the jscan first. Did you end up posting a video of adding the resistor to eliminate the hyper flash in turn signal? Ours is saying turning signal light out and blinking super fast. Thanks,
@@matt-hz6ho never did get around to it. I tried turning on the LED turn signal package on the Tazer but it didn’t fix it so we’ve just been dealing with it
I just wonder how long it will be till they fade though I mean two or three years that went to buy more can you put something on them to stop the fading like the factory ones I mean if you get still ones you don't have to worry about them fading You can always put conditioning on them and they'll turn black again
@@aguywithajeep Yeah I tried just using the tazer but it didn’t work. Worked on the JL with rubi fenders but not the JT with these. Bought some of the sylvania ones they recommend on their site.
@@aguywithajeep I paid $100 for all my 4 fenders. They are metal and haven’t even rusted after 2 years of service. If they do, I can fix, repair and repaint them myself. I bought them from Amazon. But good luck with yours. 👍🏻
7:15 for the thumbnail gents!
Super clean jeep btw brotha! 🥵
Love my KDBs on my JK. Nice that they make the JL/JT with the signals. Best looking fenders I've seen AND plastic is ALWAYS better than metal!
Definitely one of my favorite designs for sure!

These are getting painted to match the body color very soon
Yess. RUST. These are perfect
No rust, no dents, lighter than steel, no drilling or nut sert stuff, adds clearance and articulation and look great, sold !!!
Just ordered them for My 23 Gladiator Willys ✌️🇺🇲
Came looking for fender alternatives.. left with some real chill music finds!
Awesome not a huge fan of such a narrow fender but I love the turn signal and it looks pretty dang good on that Jeep you might of just changed my mine on a plastic narrow fender! Thanks for video and keep up the good work thanks

Thanks for watching. I just roll with the punches here. I’m no expert but I figure most people watching aren’t either so why not share the experience.
How have they held up any offroading ? Was wondering about off-road how they'd hold
I have those flares on my JT and I love them
Do the turn signal plug and play?
Or need to modified it? Thx
Wish I found this video sooner just bought a set of rough country fenders and inner liners
Looks really good👌 Fenders look good too.
Looks nice,I like the kbd fenders.
just ordered some for my JT. been looking for fenders for 3 weeks
Great video man
What grill do you have? That looks crazy sick
How they hold offroad
Looks super easy to install!! What about mud and rocks hitting the body?

The material has a little shine to it but it fades quickly if it’s not protected. You can paint them though if you prep them right
Did you custom order those with the led light bar at the front of the fender? I don't see that option on their website. Let me know what you used or did to get that as an option, love the modern look.
The JL version comes with the lights. The JK version does not
You have to buy inner fenders? What worked best with them on the inner fenders there's so many different brands of inner fenders out there they're so overpriced which ones did you go with
Yes you’ll need inner fenders. We went with cheap ones from Amazon and they are terrible. I’d spend the money for some Skull Krusher or Artec inners
Looks bad ass !
Just ordered my fenders on Sunday..
How long did they take to arrive for you?
They got here in about a week if I remember right

Had to get those on quickly before Tennessee this year so I didn’t have time to film it. It was as annoying as you’re expecting it to be 😂

Did you get a turn signal out warning ?
Hi. does this type of fender with lights also fit the jk or only the jl???
I’m considering these. I’ve been running the hammerhead deletes since the Jeep had 200 miles on it. Tired of zero flare. You love them still?
Yeah still love them. The finish faded a bit but no big deal to me
@@aguywithajeep yeah, i'd have to leave them raw. We wheel a lot and the paint would just crack off as soon as i flexed it.
Mine should be here Wednesday. Can't wait!
Hey guys I’ve had these for a little over a year now . Have you guys had issues with the LED strip ?
I’ve had to replace the lights twice now .
The only issue I’ve had was hitting one into a tree and breaking it. Swapped it out and it’s good to go again.
Did you ever solve the turn signal light issue? Was the load equalizer and tazer combo the fix?
I never messed with it but that should work
@@aguywithajeepdid you ever get the light to go away?
@@rickypalomares9786no I never messed with it after that install
Nice. I read somewhere that it needs a Tazer to make it plug and play or make it sequential? Is it true?

Just wonder whuch state you from? Im planning to get the same fender but not sure if it will be legal on the highway. Im from MN.
South Carolina, so no coverage laws here
look good but seem really small with no coverage
That’s my preferred style for sure.
Are the turn signals sequential? Imma bout to pull the trigger on some myself!!! Great video!!
Yep, they are.
Anyone know how well the fenders will do on the sun ☀️? I’m in Modesto,Ca and it’s like 105
They hold up fine but they will fade overtime like any plastic trim piece.
Does anyone know how the KBD fenders hold up to cold sub freezing temperatures?
Haven’t had to deal with it but they have a killer warranty if something did happen
Did your jeep come with hologen lights ?
Yes. If I remember correctly the turn signals have in line resistors so they don’t hyper flash
I just installed the KBSs on my 2021 JL with the led light kit which has the white DRLs. I was hoping these lights would come on as DRLs but they only work when the headlights are on. Anyone have a hack for having these come on as DRLs?
You can use the JScan app or a Tazer to change the settings and make them turn on a DRLs

What brand is your inner liners?
They’re EAG with a custom plate to cover their logo
What brand and size lift do you have?
Currently has a 2.5” RC lift that came on it when we bought it. Most likely switching that out soon.

I didn’t but I need to

those fresh out of the box like that or are those painted black?
That’s how they come out of the box. They do fade pretty quickly though so they’re getting painted soon.

Will they work with stock liners or will they need some modification do you know? Great video too btw.

They’re on the cheaper side of fenders actually. Better quality and styling than the Amazon junk.
