I love your creativity in building your beautiful "getaway" geodesic home! From your farm-like fixtures to your boat seats, you have done a remarkable job. Best luck in your future endeavors!
This is so cute. What a smart idea to add income from a piece property that was probably used very little. This could potentially become a geodesic community….. The blessings of having parents who worked hard and taught their children how to do the same!!!
геосота, в россии сделали бы побольше на размер и из дерева, для двоих отличное решение, я в таком жил, второй этаж спальня, при наличии циркулярной пилы и коннекторов можно вдвоём такой построить
It is different, I do like domes, love the bathroom, the view a lot of money though, but can make it back by using it as an airbnb would want privacy around the tub.
Hi! Congratulations for your lovely place!! I already checked it on Airbnb and your rating is fantastic!! I am on the thought of getting a geodesic dome for Yoga classes, but still not sure about the size (I'm checking costs and all the process to bring it to NZ). I would like to ask you, if you don't mind, what is the size of the dome that you have? Is it 6 m diameter? I would really appreciate if you are so kind to reply. I'm based in Kerikeri 😊. Cheers!!
One can probably research Geodesic Homes to find a seller within your area…. I have noticed these type of “homes” are becoming more and more popular. There is a RUclips channel called Tyler and Todd. They show how they assembled one from start to completion. It is also on a piece of beautiful property with added “luxuries”. Their channel is so informative about this type of “build” and much more. Good luck….
Can we see actual peoples homes INSTEAD? Interested in building a tiny home, not becoming a tiny landlord. So many of these videos have become ads for people's AirBnBs
Definitely hear where you're coming from. It's our desire to share a variety of homes (many of which are lived in full time), but you never know who may want to try out tiny living in this beautiful dome or gain inspiration for their own tiny home from some of Donna's design and building choices.
What would prevent this from being a full time living space? You can put in another landing and dome for 10k or so, and furnish it as a living space, spend most of your time outdoors, running a garden, expanding your growing season with a greenhouse structure, and you've got a full time living setup as long as you're in a relatively moderate climate. This seems super viable for homesteading and tiny home applications. What about it being an airbnb makes this nonviable as a tiny home? Oh, literally nothing? Fascinating insights.

What a beautiful place, an absolute dream for us. Nice video 😊
Really great idea! This is a perfect holiday place. Good idea for a tiny home as well. I like the separate kitchen and bath. Best of luck 👍👍🇨🇦

The tub is surrounded by trees and land. Hopefully guests will know to wear a bathing suit or at the least I would do that. 😂
Cool idea…peace
Nooice! 😎 STOC

Notice the owners never seem to live in their tiny homes?

I think you can find helpful information from these homes whether it’s a full time tiny home or it’s a rental.
