Very humble of you to admit wrong use of the word. But as always, we are here for you. You teach us and entertain us with the funny phrases and we teach in return to make your work even better. Most of all we are here for your personality.
lol. To be fair. I think German engineers are extremely good at the job they are hired to do. It’s not reliability, it’s constantly innovating to over complicate things in such a way and design parts in a way that they know will fail and be extremely expensive to fix.
There are so many politics which go into engineering a vehicle I hate to think of the conversations from what it costs for the engineering design, to parts availability, to cost to replace in terms of labor, easy of replacing, and of course customer perception. I for one will never buy another VW not because they are bad, but I'm just tired of their ways. I'm moving to Honda.
Just came across your video I greatly appreciated my 2012 Volkswagen beetle with a 2.5 engine I believe has the same issue and I hope so there's a lot of oil under the car I still haven't gotten to it if this is the issue I will be great thank you sir.

After watching your video, I immediately spotted the oil leak on my vacuum pump. Thank you very much! I like that you talk slowly.
Vacuum Pump. Its a notorius problem and an easy fix. I bought a new gasket for $30 US. Lots of videos on youtube showing how to fix it. Good luck!
German over engineering. Spot on! Let's not use manifold vacuum, let's add a pump with an aluminum housing and a steel cover. Brilliant.

I already did, I replace the gasket of the vacuum pump on my 2011 vw jetta 😊
Very well explained, knowledge is king 👍
Very detailed. Thank you
Haha. Yup. Typical German Engineering. Creating complicated solutions for problems that don’t exist. 😂
