I find this chord so difficult - either it sounds horrible and buzzy or it sounds ok but after a few seconds I get bad cramp in my hand and arm.... does anyone know how to make it less painful??

try putting your thumb behind the buzzing chords in the other side of the neck

you should be barring in the 3rd fret, not the 4th

2 years ago but still incorrect, that would be a Cm7 if you move the other fingers or a C7(add b13) if not

All lessons are normally played in E standard tuning low to high EADgbe
If you were in D# standard you comment would have validity.
C is on the 3rd fret on the 5th string
C# is on the 4th fret on the 5th string
This is for a C# chord with root played first. So that would mean... 4th fret
