Exactly. People need to find a better cause than to tell a sewing person to cut back on her fabric use. 😂
My only suggestion is keep the pictures up the whole time you talk about it 😅 I like to stare while I hear the thoughts/backstory on it 😊

0:52 WHAT? Girl you are amazing. Do you know how this could change my entire relatioship to fast fashion? That is so skilled, so respectful of people's lives and labor. In India a entire building collapsed on top of people sewing our clothes. As a consumer I have to live with that on my head for the rest of my life. Sewing your own clothes means that maybe one less person is giving these murderous companies money. I'm so inspired by you and so proud of a woman of color doing this. Girl you were BUSY! I totally get what you mean about the full bust alts, they really make all the difference. We are not one size - even a straight size in a pattern is still going to need alterations to fit our individual needs - proportion is everything! Such a treat to see all of your work from 2023, to more sewing fun in the new year!

Wow...85 makes! I made 24 items and was wondering when did I have the time for those😅. I think I'll focus more on learning and creating proper slopers for myself and hubby, and start pattern making. I truly enjoy following you...keep it going.

I love that this year has been a journey for you into your sewing mastery. I feel like this year has done the same for me.
Also, living in the Deep South (I’m from Atlanta but currently live in Virginia) is a different experience when it comes to seasons!
I have had to adjust my garments as well and having increased my skills, I feel better prepared to make adjustments to my makes.

Please leave the pictures of the garments up while you are talking about them. They flashed too quickly. Was not able to get a good look at them unless I paused the video. Just a suggestion.
Back in the comments again... 5:49 It's really not. The only reason you think that is bc the color is soft rose pink. Had it been fuchsia or magenta or a even a turquoise, that would make you disabuse yourself from that notion!
